Malice smiled as she looked around at the crowd that gathered around her. From the corner of her eye she noticed Shadow way in the back, alone. She sighed and slipped off the stage gracefully. She ignored the protests of the crowd and quickly made her way to the back. "Ah whats up Shadow dear?" She moved to stand next to Shadow and leaned against the wall. "Want me to introduce you to some guys? or girls?"

"no thanks" she said, smiling. "You go have fun. I'm learning from your teaching." she knew what to say in a time like this, say your teaching me or something like that and they'll go have fun. people shouldn't take away their own fun for me. she thought as she watched Shadeee's response.

"If you say so, but you don't seem to be having too much fun over here." She leaned in and looked at the girl. "Do you not like places like this?"

"I'm fine. I just like libraries a little better." she admitted. she wasn't going to ruin their fun though. "You go ahead. I'm practicing my 'don't touch me look'"

"Okay okay," she said retreating back into the crowd and wandered over to the bar. She ordered a drink and bought it with some money she just made before walking over to an empty booth and sitting down.

Shadow watched all of the people who were supposed to be in mourning. she sighed. /If someone ever dies again and we're not supposed to be out, I will lock myself in my room. she thought. She slowly edged toward the door.

Ivan steped into the bar and saw Shadow coming towards the door. He smiled and desided to talk to her. He went over to her "hey what are you doing in a place like this? I thought you liked books better then people." he said

Shadow looked at Ivan. "I do. I was dragged here by Shadeee and her friend." she said, watching then flirt with some men. "I was going to go anyway. it smells in here."

"yes true it does smell. But I was coming here to just get a laugh of all the people who do this. Then I was going to the library, would you like to go with me?" Ivan said as he looked at all the people who were dancing all drunk and doing the worlds stupidest stuff.

"sure. trust me, you wouldn't want to be caught alone here." se said, looking at the men swooning over her two friends. "Come on let's go." she grabbed Ivan's hand and went around a couple corners to the big wooden door that led to the library. She opened t and behind it stood row after row of books. "It amazes me every time." she told him.

"it Amazes me too." Ivan said as he went over to a shelf and picked out a book and started to look at it.

Shadow quickly went to her fave spot in the library. "Tales about dragons and such." she said to herself. she got out a book and sat in a leather armchair.

Ivan soon got absorded in his book that he slid to the floor and started to read not even knowing he was in the way of everyone.

Shadow suddenly looked up. When she read, she would loose all sense of time. "Ivan, Cone on! we better go before we are caught." she called around the huge library.

Ivan got up and looked around "yay but where are you?" Ivan said as he looked for shadow.

Ivan ran over to where he heard Shadow was calling from. He smiled when he saw her and said "time to go."
