Ohh. Well it sucks that it did that to you. D:
Did the pill itself mess with your head, or just not having a period? Curious, since I'm considering going on it.

Messed with my head... but I know lots of women on it and they are totally fine with the pill. :)

Re: Pill talk:
I've been on the pill for a long time now and I really like it. It has a lot of benefits for me that outweight the negatives (ie. cramps are a lot more manageable, shorter periods, better skin, etc. -- OH YEAH, and NO BABIES! XD). I know a lot of people don't like it though... mostly for the hormonal feelings they get, which I don't seem to have myself.
I once tried to skip my period by not taking the placebo pills and just starting on a new pack, and it was a HORRIBLE idea. I felt downright CRAZY during that week, seriously. I was crying all the time, for no good reason. It was just ridiculous. I think it would have been different had I been on a monophasic pill instead of a triphasic. On the mono, you get the same amount of hormones every day, while on the tri, it's a different amount each week. So there's a huge fluctuation between the last week of pills and the first week. It was bad news... :sweat:
Overall though, there are mixed reviews on the pill, but I'm all about it. :yes: It's all about finding the right one for you. I've been on a couple of types -- now I'm on a generic, which I'm not so fond of, but most of the side effects (mostly weight gain) haven't lingered.

Sizzla - Thanks for the info~ I'll definitely make a note to never do an experiment and skip the sugar pills, should I go on the pill. xD
I was originally leery of the pill because I heard a rumor that it could be linked to breast cancer. But then I read that any links it had to breast cancer were very old ones, when the pill had much more hormones in it than it does now, and that now it's perfectly safe.
So all that's keeping me from trying it is a lack of funds, a lack of current or foreseeable future need (Cherry's not getting any xD), and doubt that I'll remember to take it on time every day.
About that, how exact does it have to be? Some people act like if you don't take it at the correct time down the minute your vagina will turn into a baby cannon (take a moment to think about that image and try not to giggle). While I'm a little forgetful, the most I would probably ever forget for (once I got into the habit) would be a fluctuation of about fifteen to thirty minutes, if that. Probably closer to five to ten minutes.
And of course, because I'm a vain little teenager, I'm also afraid of the possible weight gain. xD;

Congratulations Cherry! (And Seiki!) I totally voted for you. :D (No, srsly, I did. Both of you. LOL.)

Just be very aware, re: pill, that the first one you go on may not be the one for you. The depo shot, for instance, was not for me. At all. So just keep track of your health (mental and physical) during the transition stage.

To be honest i have been very against taking the pill, for some reason it just bothers me changing the natural course of my body that much. D: then theres always the chance of side effects <<

Paprika - I'm not super eager to go on it, but I'd make a terrible mother and I don't want to use a condom. Other procedures aren't approved for me. Like god forbid you get any type of permanent to semi permanent (like an IUC) form of birth control if you're not over thirty and already have a kid. >>
That irritates me. It's my decision, not theirs. If I make a bad decision, it's my problem, not theirs. Not their place to tell me that I cannot be sterile if I choose to be. >>
And yeah, SRY FOR THE GIRL TALK, CREPS. FEEL FREE TO TALK ABOUT... uh... I dunno.

Er.. you guys really don't understand the amount of girl talk I have to go through in my life. Having someone talk about their whole issue anymore doesn't even phase me. It's like someone telling me that they're cold.
