I'd like to join. I love reading and I read pretty quickly, mainly fantasy and sci-fi. It'd be interesting to venture out into other genres, I'm up for historical fiction. Any suggestions?

I think it sounds like a good idea. My only problem is that I rarely come on here so it'll be kind of hard to keep up. But since this involves books, I'll try to come on more to check in.

I'm going into my third and final year of nursing school, I'm involved in a medieval recreation club, and I run a D&D game every week, so I don't know that I'll be in for every book, but I'm interested in the idea!

I'm just gonna peek in here and suggest that maybe you should go ahead and make a thread over in Nations to try and organize how this is going to work. :) Otherwise everyone will say they want to join but nothing will start!

If no one else jumps on this, I'll start a thread in the Nations forum after the new year, and toss a book out for people to read. Then others can join in if they like.

traditionalblasphemy it might work for you too, provided you have a decent library to borrow from. Mine is kinda okay. I might be able to find most of the books. I might get lucky and get a couple of gift cards for Christmas!

1. Exactly when will this Menewsha Book Club start?
2. Will you be choosing what book we will be reading?
3. Will there be a certain time given to read our book? (I 'm a slow reader.)

1) I said I'd start a thread in the Nations topic after New Year's, if no one else has, so it will start then, if no one jumps up and does it before.

2) I'll choose the first one, and then I'll post polls for the next ones. I guess we should probably discuss... well, I'll go ahead and open the thread in Nations, and we can discuss what we need to discuss.

3) Someone said two weeks, but that, too, is available for discussion in the nations thread.
