Share with us your favorite holiday songs, whether it be Rudolph or Elvis. What song do you listen for every year that just makes the season for you? Mine happens to be O Holy Night.

Never been too much of a fan of holiday music, but Silent Night is the closest to a favorite I have.

That's a good one. Even if you're not much of a fan, certain songs tend to stick with you.

They've been on ever since two weeks before Thanksgiving, so I'm pretty tired of all of them. -_- I would have to say that my favorite is Twelve Days of Christmas, though, since they haven't overplayed that one...and probably New Shoes, or whatever it's called. It's incredibly sad, but so pretty. X3

Hmmm...the one about the boy buying his mother shoes even though she's dying...yeah that one makes me teary. It is difficult to listen to them if they get overplayed.

I like the Chieftains album "The Bells of Dublin", since I was a little kid.

Yes! I like that one too. The way they work the bells in at the beginning into the beat of the song and the dance quality of it. There's nothing like Celtic and Scottish celebration music.

Hello. Merry Christmas. How is everyone? My favorite are Winter Wonderland and Jingle Bell Rock.

I like those as well. Do you have a favorite artist for either of them?

Actually..... Surprisingly, the song that gets me most into the holiday spirit is Voodoo by Godsmack.

Everyone has their own way of getting into the holiday spirit. If people weren't different, life would be boring.

You know, I haven't heard that one this year. I usually do. I'll have to try and find it on youtube.

I believe that's called Christmas Shoes by Three of Hearts. I love that one too.
I think my favorite Christmas song is Oh Holy Night.

My favorite holiday song is...well, since I don't really like holidays that much, I would have to go with...Christmas is Coming. The composer, or writer, or whatever is Edith Nesbit Bland. We sang it at my holiday concert on the 15th, and it was so fun. The muppets sang it.
Or maybe Night Of Silence. We sing it over the top of Silent Night. Now, whenever we sing Silent Night, I instantly launch into NoS, without even realizing it. But that's okay, because I don't really like Silent Night.

I love the carol of the bells. I've been listening to the transsiberian orchestra play it all season <3

Ooh, Carol of the Bells is good, too. I have a friend who can sing it. (And I'm sure my teacher can sing it better than he can play it on the piano.)

I love hearing Carol of the Bells as well. It is really one that can be done in different ways...
