Also, I was wondering how much someone might pay for a custom of one of these? It takes about five bucks for the materials and three hours to make each one, so if I give myself $8 an hour it comes out to $30. I'm thinking of starting an Etsy shop, but does anyone know of a better way to get specific commissions from people?

NICE stuff. Not sure what people would pay for them. Maybe if you got going on selling them, you could get a knitting machine and make them more effienciently .

Those are so adorable! You should definitely make some to sell; they are wonderful decorations for all sort of ages. I know I would get one or two, or ten. ;)
