I was in the high school bad throughout my years of high school. I played the trumpet and a bit of the trombone. I have a trumpet at home which my dad bought me a couple of years ago as a birthday present. I admit that I am bad though and never really even touch the thing. It's a shame, really, because I was so good at playing but when I graduated high school I lost interest in it because it is kind of useless. I know it is good to play an instrument because it's good for your brain and makes you smarter, but it's hard to find the time and a purpose for playing when you're not in any specific band or anything... oh well... one day I hope to take up my trumpeting again!

I play the piano. Not extremly well, but once I play a song a few times I can usually get it.

I haven't played any instruments for a long time....................
I think the last time i played, was in the sixth grade! Man i think i'm getting old.......

I play flute and basoon in my school's Orchestra- mainly bassoon though because we have too many flute players. I also sometimes play percussion for a stage band and piano for a local band called Mizzeraan. I'm currently learning guitar and thinking of taking on shakuhachi, and I've recently joined an a cappella group ^_~

Wood Sorrel plays the accordion? I can do a little of it too....but I haven't practiced it in so long. But when I started learning it in the 6th grade I wasn't bad....it's just I don't want to be mediocre at several instruments, so I haven't really practiced on it.

But I play the piano, flute, and I sing.
I think I'm decent enough on them, but if I plan on pursuing music as a career, than I'm going to have to be excellent.....so I have quite a ways to go.

I play most every brass instrument there is. French horn is my first true love - I've played it for about ten years now. From there, I picked up the trombone in order to play in a jazz ensemble, and a mellophone so that I could be a part of marching band. From those three, I can decipher just about any other instrument I want to.

I play the flute in our school's concert band. not very good though... ^^; I kinda wish I could play the drums or guitar though! 8D yea

Let's see... what instruments do i play?... well, i played trombone for 4 years in middle school band, baritone for 3 years in high school band, and saxophone for 3 years now in marching band. I also play(although i've never taken any lessons) flute, piccolo, violin, guitar, bass, autoharp, alto horn, and recorder(all types). I also used to take piano lessons when i was younger, but i quit. I still play though! I also sing in my high school's choir (I tried out and made it into polyphonic choir).

so... i play alot of instruments!!! you see...my dad was a music major in college and he can play almost any instrument( except oboe for some reason!) so...i'm kindof following in his footsteps, and can't really stay with one instrument for any long amount of time, but like to learn and then stop, but i never forget, and every once ina while i'll play just for fun.

In case you did not realize, i get bored very fast, and any time now, i will pick a new instrument to begin learning(probably clarinet, because we have one).

Did I mention that we actually own at least one of every instrument I play? well...we do, and we actually have 3 trombones, 2 violins, 5 recorders(3 sopranos, 1 alto, 1 tenor), 2 flutes, 3 guitars(2 acoutic, 1 electric), and 1 piano, 1 organ, and 3 keyboards.

The keyboards are actually mine, i bought them with my own money, they go in my recording studio in my basement. I write my own music, and record it, and sometimes I do recordings for my church praise band, or some friends who are trying to form a band.

I never played anything O.o ou of the school with the flute but my parent thought it was to high a price for that so I passed without

So is your main instrument the saxophone? Since it sounds like you will be majoring is music, what instrument will be your main focus?

Hmmm, I see there are several of the multi-talented types here. Cool. My main is trumpet(16 years) and secondary is baritone/euphonium(8-ish years) and I've been singing as long as I can remember. Took a class to learn flute, clarinet, saxophone, played hand-bells(those are tons of fun!) and piano. Learned some Irish flute(aka: penny whistle, tin whistle) and I want to learn bagpipes(have played around with the chanter section of the pipes.) I also play fluegel horn, french horn, piccolo trumpet and just a bit of drums. The most fun(for me), and what I actually plan to do with my life, is the conducting classes I took for both choir and band. One doesn't usually think of the conductor as a musician, but I tell you it's just a new way to look at the music you already love. I'm working on a degree in Music Education so I can teach High School music classes, both vocal and instumental. After all, what use is a love of music if you don't share it?

I used to play piano but one of my teachers got pregnant and then the next one had esophagus problems and the next one became a road government person so i quit, then i started playing violin. i've been playing for 4 years so far. i tried to learn how to play the guitar once but it wasn't my instrument.. and when i was little i tried harmonica! but i stunk at that too.... me and two of my friends have a "band" but not really!! haha.

I played the piano for along time as well as the flute. I haven't picked them up (or sat down to play) them in a few years though so I don't know how much I can actually remember. I also had a brief spell playing the saxophone as well.

If anything I would love to learn to play the guitar, I have one friend who plays reasonably well and a couple more who are learning.

Uh, I play the piano. xD Other than that, I've never played any handheld instruments. I would like to learn how to play the violin, but I'm sure it requires lots of skill to play some good music. I played the piano for quite some time, but I still suck at it. ;_;

I play the bass guitar, I had a band but they quit on me so now i have to use my itunes when i'm playing songs. I used to play the violin at school but i gave that up when i moeved to holland.. I can play a little piano but not too good. I mostly keep my self busy with my bass guitar.. I love it^^

mmmm i play clarinet && piano. i used to do just regular school band with clarinet, but that got boring so i'm just doing marching band which is pretty fun. piano i've been playing for a really long time, but i just quit lessons. i normallly play classical or new age on piano (:

I used to play piano, took lessons for 8 years, played for 10.. then I quit about 5 years ago. I've regretted it ever since.

I play guitar and used to play for my high school's orchestra (I'm in college now).

I have been playing the Alto Saxophone for 7 years, the Xylophone/Vibes for 3 years, and I am learning how to play the baritone for Drum and Bugle Corps.

I have played in Marching Band, Drumline, Concert Band (college and high school) and Symphonic Band (high school).

I played piano for a very short time. I don't know how to play it. XD I played recorder when I was in elementary school, but I think most people did. xD
