Does anyone here write or read fanfiction? I myself love fanfiction in itself! I write fanfiction and adore the people who let me read it!
I don't know why but fanfiction has a great ring to it. But they are the one's where people take the charaacter and totally mess them up! I can't stand those ones!
So far I have written fanfiction for:

Fullmetal Alchemist
Inuyasha
Cardcaptor Sakura
Gravitation
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy VII
Tokyo Mew Mew
Either way if anyone has fanfiction they write I would love to read it! Drop me a line sometime!

There was a time when I readed lot of fanfiction when I was bored and didn't knew what else to do >.< But as you, I really hate it when they take a character and turn it into something else O.o

I use to read some Harry Potter fanfic >.< And there is a lot of that where Harry is betrayed by everyone becaue they get all mean with him and end up being friend with slytherin who are all nice >.<; ... I think I only foung 2 fanfiction with that plot who really made sense O.o

Out of that, I hate people putting some random super cool character in there story. I like seing original character implemented as most of the time the other story character behavious aren't destroyed but they always put a super brilliant one >.< Or one they passed a time portal and end up in the world O.o Those are the most annoying...

I'm picky about my fan fiction. If it is done well, meaning the characters are behaving in a manner that fits in with their cannon self, than it can be enjoyable. However, way too many fan fiction writers put together some of the most impossible pairings just because "ZOMG teh smex!" or they set out with a decent idea but then don't know the characters well enough to handle the dialog.
I've read some really awful fan fiction that makes me want to find the authors and stab them repeatedly in the face. Then again, I've also read fan fiction that was so well done, I could see it happening in the show, or book and found myself reading the same story again and again because it was just that good. It really just depends on the writer I guess. I guess the same goes for any fiction really.

Yes, I do write fanfiction too. Since I finished writing my first story, "Love that transcends time" (50+ chapters) in paper, I decided to write another story called "This lullaby". I love writing but my only problem is that I don't have much time typing them on Word and uploading them. I usually just make 3 updates in one year on my story, Love that transcends time.

If you want to read my story, just look me up in Fanfiction.net under the name, sw33tdesiree ^^

I've written facfiction for Beyblade, Fruits Basket, Pita Ten, Digimon and Angelic Layer...mainly Beyblade though...I'm terrible when it comes to updating, so most of mine are short one shots. My first story which I think I need to rewrite is a Beyblade one which is the only chaptered story and I've yet to finish it...

Ah, fanfiction is great.

I've never really tried to write any though, because I end up forgetting how its going to end, etc. Plus I believe I wouldn't portray the chars. personality correctly. >.<;

I should so write a Dir en grey fan fic though. I always have many ideas there. xD

Oh lord... I read and write in any number of areas. I used to write a lot of Harry Potter stuff, then I dabbled in Stargate, Yami no Matsuei, Kyou Kara Maou, Naruto, Sakura Taisen, etc...

I'm swinging back to Petshop of Horrors, though, after hearing about the release of the second series. I'm also not so secretly working on an Ouran story and mulling a hobbity story for a couple years.

I'll read in any series that I'm currently into. Though I have gotten pickier as of late about what I read within that series. I hate OOCness and tend to avoid AU, though there are some fics that are exceptions.

Here's my ff.net profile, though the stories need serious cleaning:

  • Oooh I love reading Kingdom Hearts 2 fanfiction , I could probably never write a fanfiction though . . . I am not very creative or literate , I have a very small vocabulary .
Anyways I love fanfiction , It makes time go by and it is very enjoyable . I like Humour the most and I like angst , Angst fan fictions make me want to stay away but I am attracted to them * sweat drop *.
But yeah most of the time I am surfing for axel x roxas or demyx x axel fan fictions ~

I used to read Digimon fanfiction way back in the day... there was actually a series that was really good on whatever site I was on.. ummmm I think it was called My Brother's Keeper. I've never read fanfiction that was that great for the entire time that it was going on for. Usually the light just seems to vanish after the first couple of chapters and everything gets so repetitive, but that was different.

I don't read fanfiction anymore, though. I write some J-rock fanfiction every once in a while just because I like writing about people in the spotlight (most of my original stories are people in bands/media or whatever also, because that's just what I like writing), but that's about it. I don't know if I'll ever get into anime fanfiction again or not, it's hard to say.

I am a fanfiction read and writer (More on the Shounen Ai side but not everything I read is Yaoi. xP )but not much of a writer thou since I can do anything other than one-shots as of current i have not written any fanfic at least not submitted any to fanfiction.net mostly because I can't make multi-chaptered fanfiction due to my in inability to make a chapter two. (all the idea that come to my head were for later chapters.)

on a final note I read fanfiction on the following anime, manga, game and cartoon (Yes that right cartoon.):
  • Getbackers
  • Xenosaga
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Yami no Matsuei
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Harry Potter (Usually crossovers with Fullmetal Alchemist, it would be interesting if someone made a crossover of Harry Potter and Xenosaga. xD )
  • Invader Zim
  • Perfect Girl Evolution
  • Final Fantasy VIII
  • Great Teacher Onizuka
  • Legend of Dragoon
  • Full Metal Panic!

I once wrote a comic series that was inspired by Naruto. I don't know if that's fanfiction or not, but (forgot the name! :O) the character in Naruto that eats constantly inspired me to make a comic about 'Super Dog'. Super Dog could fly and eat entire things and people in one bite. I was popular for a while when I was writing it. I wrote all the comics in a notebook, but now I don't know where the notebook is. :gonk:

I did make a Kingdom Hearts 1+2 fanfiction once, but then I got bored of it and sort of let it die off.

If you ask me, fanfiction is a hit-or-miss thing. I've read a lot and I can tell you, some of it is very good and kinda makes me wish the storyline was actually used. And then there are some that are just so bad it makes me wonder what the author was thinking when they sat down and typed the story. My gf has written a Yugioh ff herself, and I thought she had more talent than I would at fan-fic writing.

I really enjoy reading and writing fanfiction. I'm not the best writer, but hey, writing more helps you improve!

I write for Bleach. Just Bleach.

I love fanfiction. Generally when I finihs reading a book or seeing a movie if I like it, when I get home I go look up fanfiction. I don't normally get much as many times it is new. But I still try.

I write fanfiction! I currently have 5. I plan on finishing 2 of them. They're all at Fanfiction.net. My username is...ScarletFalcon. The same thing as here! No imagination whatsoever. The one I'm working on furiously is The Gray Mists, a Harry Potter Slash. Then I've finished Valentine's Day, a Sasu/Naru fic. It's cute. I'll e-mail it to anybody's who's interested.

I used to write fanfiction. I don't anymore because I don't have the time, or the desire to. But it was fun while it lasted..espcially when people liked what I wrote ^^

I used to read fanfiction all the time, but then I got frustrated with it and stopped... There are too many people that get away with writing some ...random stuff..

I read and write fanfiction regularly.

I've read far more fanfiction than I have written, but I've written a decent bit.

I mostly read fanfiction for anime, some books, a few games, and cartoons. I stay away from live action TV fanfics and ones for bigger series... like Harry Potter an Naruto. You're just asking for bad fics there.

I usually write fanfics for anime series, but there are a couple cartoons I write for as well.

i like fanfics. they're a lot of fun to read, even tho some turn out kinda creepy. *shudder* i also like to write some fanfics. i've only written 3 or 4, and all of them are Naruto fanfics. in all of them, i created my own main character, and had the actual main characters as secondary characters.

I was only into reading fan-fiction for a really short amount of time.
I did find this really funny Cyborg 009 fan-fiction on fanfiction.net called License to Kill or something. It was really good. Made me laugh a lot. :)

As for writing fan-fiction, well, most of my stuff never hits the paper, but I'm really fond of this one piece I did for the Anime Fan-fiction Contest I entered. It was a Pokemon fic, too. Though, now that I think about it, I probably botched the thing. Characters out of... character kinda thing (maybe just a little if I'm lucky), but I tried. =/
Couldn't have been too bad. I got 2nd place for it.

So yeah, I don't belong to fanfiction.net but I am a member of mibba if anyone knows it. The username is Alphabet Soup if yah do. ;)

i love reading fanfictions! especially if the pairing that i like is not the real couple in the manga or anime or book. though i hate fanfics which makes the character too different from the original one or have actions or dialogues that are out-of-character....i totally hate them....also, i try not to read the ones with too much gramatical errors but if the story is worth it, i try to tolerate it
my favorite fanfic is Inuyasha with the pairing of Sesshoumaru and Kagome XD
