Richard Louv wrote this book regarding the latest trend of children spending more and more time out of nature. They are changing to a more sedentary life style because of a change in technology and an overwhelming need for order and saftey from parents and society. This book talks about how nature can be used as a way to "cure" mental and social problems common in children now, problems like ADD and a growing population of child obesity and child depression.
I am reading this for college and am finding it to be a great book. Has anyone else read this or currently reading and would like to discuss their take on the book?
