RED ROSE

The Red Rose is preparing for take off! If you want to be on the ship for its first stop on many, GET YOUR APPLICATIONS IN! Flink intended to take off and five, but in case others want to be on the ship, you should say so!

First an explantion. Red Rose is an airship RP that Flink attempts to make EVERYWHERE. So far, none of them have lasted long. Mainly because she gets more, 'OMG! This is a great idea' posts than actual posts for the RP. Hopefully Menewsha will not disappoint.

About the Ship:

Red Rose is a very large airship, made much like a ship would be in the olden days. Almost entirely made of wood, the ship could float on water if needed, but typically that is not needed. The ship's outside is painted to LOOK Like it's made of red wood, the exact wood it is made of is unknown.

The massive ship has 15 floors for guests alone, it has more floors, two for staff, one for the crew that keeps the ship in order, and another for VIPS (On which the events coordinator/person who keeps things together, Amberlane resides). The twelfth, fifth, and third floors have banquet halls in which food is offered at all times, and at times they will have themed dining. When a party is held, the banquet on the 12th floor is the one you would want to go to.

Recreation areas are located on the fifth and eleventh floors.

All of the non-VIP rooms have the same basic layout. They are ALL suites with a bedroom area, a small kitchen area, bathroom, and a living area with a TV (internet access is included in all rooms).

VIP rooms have all of the above, but the TVs are wide screen, internet access is a LOT faster, and is NON LEECHABLE, it is VERY secure. They also have jacuzzis in each room, the beds are a lot larger and softer (Unless you state otherwise, beds are adjusted to the comfort of all VIP guests on the ship). They also have on-call room service all the time. No stops, not even for emergencies.

1. Follow all Rules/TOS of Menewsha.
2. Keep all IC conflicts OUT of OOC. Flink understands that some characters will fight in the RP, but that does not mean that you and the creator of that character are fighting.
3. Be respectful of other RPers and those who just visit the thread. (Such as if Flink tells someone they have not been approved, or asks that they change something on their application, no "You got pwned!")
4. If you would like your thread or RP advertised/linked to somewhere in the OOC/IC threads of Red Rose, PM Flink, DO NOT post them yourself. She will have a special section for those.
5. These rules are subject to change.

1. Follow all Menewsha Rules/TOS.
2. Keep OOC and IC seperate, like Flink said in the OOC rules. You and your character are NOT the same person. (Unless you persona play... <.<)
3. Keep up with where the ship currently is.
4. No fighting, unless you want to get caught. There ARE cameras throughout the ship and the security NEVER sleeps. If you fight, you will get caught. There will be more on that elsewhere.
5. If you MUST steal from other characters, please be aware that there is a chance that you will get caught.

If you want to sneak into someone's room, clear it with them and Flink first, and Flink will roll a 20 sided dice to see if you make it. (Sorry there are no dice on Menewsha).

• 1 ~ 9 means you are most definitely caught.
• 10 ~ 14 means you are seen on camera and questioned, whether or not you are punished depends on what the person who owns the room says.
• To make sure you have read the rules, please PM Flink your application, with the title as "Watermelon".
• 15 ~ 20 means you get off scott free, unless you do something stupid afterwards...

6. Romance is allowed and encouraged, but keep it at PG 13 and below. There are young people here on Menewsha, respect them as well as the adults who wish to see nothing above that rating.
7. Murder MUST be approved by Flink and both parties involved. But be aware that your actions in killing someone will make the whole ship go on lock down until the culprit is found. AND the ship has its own court system. If found guilty, you will be released in a smaller "life raft" which is a free floating vessel that you cannot escape. The "Sky Police" of the world will pick you up.
8. Only VIP members are allowed on the VIP section of the ship. Flink will give you a pin number to remember for your character if they are VIP. You HAVE to tell Flink that number in PM or your character will be removed from the VIP area. (She will be keeping a file on who has VIP and who doesn't.)

OMG, I did not expect Olivia to come out like such a spoiled brat! When I was typing up my responses I kept thinking about the mother from Titanic and her whole "steerage" attitude.

There are none. Flink might post them. But she really doesn't want to. For fear the someone will use OOC information IC when their character wouldn't even be close to knowing it. XD

Oh...well...I was just wanting to see in depth descriptions/appearances of the characters...because I like...writing about how they look. xDDD M3==<3 especially hot people....I want to know Rosials' hair color, eyes....and Olivia's...and everyone's, you know?

Character Occupation: Waitress
Character Appearance: Ebbaron is fairly tall, around 5' 9" and, like most vampires, is a beauty. Her chest is substantial, to say the least, although she tries not to show it off, it usually fails, which makes her frustrated. She likes to put her mid-back length, ice blue hair up in different styles, although her long bangs get in the way, even if she pins them. Her skin is fairly pale, and, while she can sometimes get a tan, it usually just burns. Her freckles form a light raccoon mask, going across her small nose, and around her pale blue eyes.
Character Bio: Ebba grew up in a small family, her parents loving to spend time with their kids. As her older brothers moved out, Ebba would happily help out around the house, picking up the chores her brothers left behind. She would have been content to stay at home, but because of her clumsiness, her parents decided to have her leave. She doesn't resent them for it, but she doesn't have many friends, and only works hard enough to get by, only working at the coffee shop as a waitress. Because she works hard and is so friendly, her boss decided to give her a trip on the Red Rose so she could relax.
Anything Else: She is one of those really clumsy types, always tripping over things, although being a vampire, all scratches heal quickly. She wears a rosary on a collar to conceal her true vampire strength and hunger for blood, instead, she tries to avoid feeding on people.
Example of RP: Ebbarin had just finished wiping down the last table, as the customers had all dispersed, and walked back into the kitchen, throwing her cloth into the sink with a contented sigh. She dusted off her almost knee length skirt, smiling as she removed the ruffly apron. "Oh my dear Ebbarin!" she heard a voice behind her say, before she was caught around the waist. "Alora-sama! What are you doing? How many times do I have to ask you not to do that?" she said, grabbing her tiny boss and pulling her off.
"Oh, you know how I get, I can't not cuddle you! Well, you know how I love how hard you work," she began, letting Ebba nod before continuing, "So, I decided to give you a treat." Pulling out from behind her back a small envelope, the petite woman handed it to Ebba. "I got you a ticket for the Red Rose!"

Character Appearance: Selwyne is tall, around 6 foot, and lithe, like you would expect from a cat hybrid. He has toned, rather than bulging, muscles that he would rather not show off, so he likes to wear loose fitting clothes. He has light brown hair that likes to stick out every which way, and green eyes that almost always look bored. His cat ears and tail are tawny tabby, and are very sensitive to the cold. While his ears are very sensitive, it didn't stop him from getting them pierced, multiple times even.
Character Bio: When he was around sixteen years old, he left his home because he felt that his parents were being too controlling, and in a sense they were. He had little to no choice in what he could do in and after school, his life being scheduled to turn him into what his parents wanted him to be. Selwyne turned into one of those stray cats, wandering around the city's streets, fighting anyone who challenged his authority. He became wrapped up in himself, not letting anyone in, and now portrays that he is bored by all that is around him, even if he is completely fascinated by it, which he tends to be. He gets annoyed easily if he is bothered too much, just like a cat, and so had been fired from most jobs he tried to secure. He now wishes to live away from his city, to get a job and try to make friends that he can trust.
Anything Else: While he likes to put on a tough guy appearance, he's actually very caring and...he can sew.
Example of RP: As Selwyne approached the ship, the knot in his stomach tightened, although it didn't show. To anyone else, anyone who was not close to him, he looked like a bored teenage boy, hanging around a ship, about to make trouble. Exhaling deeply, he walked aboard, reading the slip in his hand telling him where to go. Arriving at the room, he stood around for a minute and was about to turn back, a voice inside called, "Come in, I won't bite!" Shaking his head, he pushed open the door, for it wasn't fully closed, and sat in front of a smiling woman. "So...Selwyne?" she read from a piece of paper in her hand. "Do you have any particular skills?"
"How did you know my name? I was just going to be a walk in. Nevermind, I'll take what I get. Well, I can cook, I'm strong and a good fighter. I'm anal about cleaning things...I have great balance?" he said after a moment's thought.
"Well then," the woman said with a smile. "You seem like you'll fit right in here. I think you'll be suited especially for..."
