I assumed how the bidding worked was you had to beat the top bid, then you went to the second spot. I don't think it makes much sense being able to fight for spot 3. Maybe we could get some clarification on that?

Yeah, guys, unfortunately, we can't let you fight for the bottom spot, because it's just not fair. So if you want a spot, you have to outbid the high bidder. But keep in mind that it's worth it to fight for the top spot because only the top spot gets a COLORED picture.
So, SuperZombiePotatoe: we will not be able to accept your bid for WherededIgo (sorry! I would love to let you guys do that, especially since the difference between 1 and 2 is so huge, but I just can't and make it fair).
As for those who want more than one of each artist's spot, I'll have to talk that out with Clarius. *hugs* Thank you guys for participating in this auction!

Xuvi, Iro bid very high, so it's possible people won't outbid her. She's saying that if she had known before that others would have to outbid her, she would have waited until later in the game so more people would have bid already.

I hope this rewording helps, if I'm understanding correctly. O.o

You can only outbid the top most bidder to have a place in the slots.
So right now Igor's highest bid is 2k, to be able to have a place in the slots, you have to bid more than that although it's more than the second or third highest bids. Does that make sense?

It's okay hon. Sometimes brains just don't want to think too hard and they embarrass us. I've had whole weeks like that before. :)

I guess the whole multi slots makes things a bit confusing. Just remember everyone, this auction isn't about putting money into the artists pockets, this is to help fund the user run event.

I have come across auction with multiple slot.
People just bid on slot 1 or slot 2.
When they bid, they mention clearly which one they are bidding. I guess it helps if different slot is different style/medium.

What xuv is suggesting sounds good to me, actually. I think it's not too late to alter the format that way, if you're all agreeable to it. Since the first slot has a different type of art compared to the others, it's already halfway there.

I can't make decisions like that unilaterally. And at the moment, Clarius is not super available. So we probably won't be able to decide that until later tonight.
