"There isn't much about me that is interesting." Hotaru said to her as he shrugged his shoulders, he couldn't really think of anything to tell her about him self, after all the earth kingdom was pretty boreing in his eyes but then again there wasn't much he did outside of the libary and all of his trainning and classes.

"Well, I like to read, write, do anything that involves history." She laughed."I don't know why but I love history..and really there isn't that much to do at my kingdom." She said softly, she was jealous that Shin was with the earth princess but he had to atleast talk to her to know who to choose. And its not like anything would happen between herself and Hotaru since they were supposed to marry other people.

"I spent most of my time in my classes, trainning and also in the libbary reading on things that i need to know for when i take the kingdom over from my parents. History was a big part of it, and with my element i can basically find a lot of things that are old." Hotaru said to her as he shrugged his shoulders, a cocky smile on his face as he sat down, seeing as she wasn't going to sit down any time soon.

Katie laughed, forgetting for forgetting about the chairs. She sat down."Thanks for the chair.." She said, leaning back in it and looking at him."I just like studying old things..and finding them." She said with a small smile."Your kingdom is beautiful..you must be happy that you'll be getting it from your parents."

"I don't mind getting the kingdom from them but i rather travel then stay in one place like my sister who can stand in one spot for many days." Hotaru said as he chuckled, he tapped the arm of his chair for a few minutes before he pulled a fossiol out of the arm, he placed it on the arm of Katie's chair, letting her look at it, he was happy that if a girl liked something and it dealot with earth that he could pretty much get it and give it to them.

She looked at the fossil."Thank you." She smiled, leaning and giving him a kiss on the cheek. It was proper to give a kiss on the cheek when a man gives you something or is being nice to you so she had given him one. She scanned the fossil."This will do nicely on my shelf." She grinned."I would like to travel a lot too..but its not whats expected of me.."She sighed.

"Your welcome. If I could chose you to marry then we could travel every where and collect all the fossils that you want." Hotaru said to her as he smiled after she kissed him on the cheek, he wasn't lying to her, he would love to travel every where with her and collect things, she seemed like a good person to do that with, and he could leave his sister to take care of the kingdom since she was always the better one for that anyways, even if he was raised to do it.

"That would be nice..If we were allowed."She paused."I'm supposed to marry the prince of darkness of Fire." She said, looking back towards Shin. He was so great..so she hoped the Earth Princess wouldn't win him over. But traveling everywhere would be great."Who are you supposed to marry?"

"The princess of fire, who is mor einto your brother then she is in me and the princess of light who hasn't even arrived here yet." Hotaru said as he shrugged his shoulders, for all he knew she had eloped with some man that she had been in love with since child hood. "Besides i really rather have someone that likes me then hates my guts." he said as he shrugged his shoulders once more, he believed in freedom of choice so he wasn't going to choose the girl, he was going to let her choose him that is what he believed in. He coulde tell that his sister was a little scared of how things between her and the fire prince was going to turn out by the way she inched a little close to the tree that she was touching.

She laid back a little."Well, your a nice guy to talk too. So i'm sure you'll end up with a great girl."She said with a soft smile. She looked towards Shin and Hopi and smirked a little."Are you and your sister close?"She asked.

"The Fire Princess didn't think so. She ran away from me the first chance she got. You could say that we are close, since our parents weren't around a lot we only had each other. I was always tending to my duties as the prince while she was out in the kingdom communing with nature as she puts it or in the libbary studying something." Hotaru said to her as he smiled at her, she was a little harder to read then his sister but in a way she was still very easy to read too, he ran anouther hand through his long black hair before he ran a hand through it and pulled it up into a ponytail.

"Well..maybe you and light will end up together." She said, trying to be optimistic." I hope things turn out good for you." She said softly, still looking at the fossil."Can you do that again..?" She asked, touching his arm since he had magically given her the fossil.

Hotaru chuckled as he placed his hand on the arm of her chair, he took a deep breath and let it out slowly, soon another fossil had shown up but this one was of a very rare flower that only blooms every blue moon. "So how do you like your flower?" he said as he chuckled a bit, placing his hand over hers, he then let it go back to his arm rest as he watched her face, glad to know that someone thought his power was interesting and liked the fact he could brings fossils to the surface with no problems.

"Flower?" She questioned, looking at the fossil."Well its a very pretty fossil." She laughed and blushed a little when his hand was on hers."Your powers are so..amazing." She smiled, running her hand across his arm. She knew it was odd but she thought it was kool. And he seemd like a good guy to be friends with.

"That is what the fossil is. It is a blue rose, we have the only bush left in the Earth Kingdom, garden. It only blooms when there is a full moon and they are very rare. My powers aren't that amazing. if it deals with earth then i can manipulate it." Hotaru said in a modest tone of voice, he watched as she moved her hand across his arm, which made him smile even more, maybe he was starting to like her, maybe she was starting to like him, he caught her hand in his and held it, glad to have that very distracting hand to be stopped in place.

She blushed a little when he took her hand."Well, they're amazing to me since I've never met someone that can do it. I went to your kingdom for a day and no one talked to me so..I've never met anyone like you." She said, she liked the warmth of his hand. But Shin was still the guy she wanted to marry..unless he wanted the Earth princess.

Shin smiled. "Well you can call me Shin, Rose." He said softly with a bow. "How are you enjoying yourself so far?" He asked not sure what to say really. He was comfortable with Katie now he needed to be comfortable with Rose. "Indeed I did enjoy myself, however it wouldn't of mattered if she was there or not my flights are always enjoyable. The company however made it extra pleasant." He said with a smile.

“The people in my Kingdom tend to be very secretive. It is just our way, so don‘t feel as though you were being rejected for it.” Hotaru said to her with a smile on his face, he let her hand go to run his hand through his hair that he had forgotten that he tied back, it came out the ponytail. He smiled as he placed his hand on the arm of her chair once more, this time making very soft grass and some flowers grow on it. Making the chair more comfortable for her.

“The plants here have many stories to tell, all of them wonderful in their own way.” Rose said to him as a soft smile came onto her face making her wise hazel eyes seem like that of a child for a brief moment, she then began to stroke the tree trunk that was under her hand. “Did you know that when your father was younger, he set fire to this very tree?” she asked him, her voice said that she was just being curious but it also said that she was being serious but she wasn’t hurt by the knowledge.

"Ididn't..I just knew everyone was busy since you were all running around." She said, taking one of the flowers in her hand."These are pretty..what kind are they?" She asked, watching his mess with his hair. She looked over at Shin with the princess and then back at Hotaru.

Leo nodded, confirming her thoughts “It is bright, but when there is a thunderstorm, it’s very dark and can last days, with just the lightning” he told her with a smile. He turned to look at the horse she had pointed out as hers, spotting it on the grass before glancing at his own to check on him. He then turned back to her and laughed “Dante’s just the same, he hates nearly everyone but me, tiring sometimes, but I wouldn’t even think of having a different horse” he grinned fondly at the thought of his horse.

He laughed amusedly “I better be on my guard then” he joked as she commented about her brother. He nodded “She definitely would, she has done in the past, good job I grew out of being overprotective” he mused, thinking of all the times when he was younger and he tried to be protective of her, only to receive a sharp slap on the back of his head for the efforts.

“Yeah” he said, thinking about the dragons “But we don’t really use them since they’re so small, and being in the water, their scales aren’t as tough as the scales from the dragons the fire kingdom has, so it wouldn’t be worth using them like that” he smiled. Leo nodded “Yeah, it is heavy, that’s why we don’t fight in it, only for decoration…for instance, I probably should be wearing it now, but I was late, so no time to change” he laughed, his eyes bright.

"Ah, well your dragon and I will get along just fine." He pushed himself from the water and glanced up at the pairing. "Although, from right here I'd say the odds are against me. Your dearest dragon seems to have taken my place..." his voice trailed off and practically vanished into the breeze that had just begin. "... by your side." That's the ending he whispered into the wind.

His face turned to the side as he walked past the duo. "So, are you pleased with whom you're to marry? The... Earth Prince? He's... well I honestly don't know him, so I guess I can't mention much. I'm sure he's a nice guy though. But hell, if he ever did anything, you'd kick his ass. That's if I don't kill him first."

Blushing at this point, he looked into the water. His reflection staring him dead in the eyes, Deks calmly commented, "Fire cannot live without air. We help create and maintain the flame. When the flame has its breath stolen away, it dies and fades to darkness. Wind can live without fire, but wind cannot live with darkness. We are but free loving and humble. We jump from place to place. Darkness is everywhere. It surrounds us. Consumes us. Makes us feel trapped. Like I said, we are free spirits that blow around as we please. How can wind ever marry darkness? And how can fire ever live without air?"

His hands were now covering his heart as he spoke. "To be honest, I'm envious of the relationship you share with the Earth Prince...."
