this is your fault. you guys all gave me three pages to respond to at once.
which was also difficult because my wireless hub keeps booting me and timing out the connection for a while.

@dani - truth. body hair is gross.
omgkimm. loveher. <3
and they were in secaucus on the 23rd! once i get them, i'll be wrapping them and shipping them to you. (the surprise book is going to be an addendum to the panda.)

@cherry - oh sugar highs. I CAN DO THAT, TOO.

@bishie - ohgawsh. multiple quotes.
(i only remembered nine's name because it's so fun to say. eccleston. ekkulston. teehee.)
alice is the best. <3
i want to read atlas shrugged because it has similarities with the video game bioshock. 8D (wow, i'm such a nerd)
the graveyard book is neil gaiman's re-imagining of rudyard kipling's the jungle book. it's fun, but i just keep getting distracted. :[
omg. but. weddings. SO CUTE AND SQUEEABLE. i have a little bit of a weak spot for romantic cheesiness. i try my darndest to stay away from it, but when i encounter it by chance, i can't help but get excited. D:
rpattz has a FLAT FACE. like his mother accidentally hit him in the face with a frying pan when he was still growing. and, well, his hair. it contrasts his face. XD
JAKE IS MY WARM, FLUFFY GOD. >:3
but man, the voice actor they got to do his narrative parts on the audio books is shit. i cry a little bit. AND BREAKING DAWN IS HALF JACOB. GAH.

@aislin - i keep finding twins that are completely identical to me in some ways and then totally opposite in others. (like dani. XD)
i really wish i had been working during the breaking dawn release. it would have been fun and now i need to wait a while for any other midnight parties to come around. (eragon is done, hp is done, and twilight is done. mostly.) sadness.
i know with the sperm thing i was like "... really? seriously? if their bodies stop changing, they can't keep making sperm. it's stupid." i always manage to think about the technical bodily functions of people in books and movies and stuff even when they don't include it in the story. so i'm a little like "where's the bathroom in the TARDIS?"
ohmygawsh. yay. but chinese. DIFFICULTY LEVEL: OVER 9000. (no i'm cool, but they cut off the numbers on the main page so i have to go in. D:!!)
...OHEMGEE. SIGNED. guh. i am actually considering going to minnesota to find that bookstore he frequents and see if i can stalk him. to, uhm, hug him. that's it. XDD

@bishie & aislin - SHEESH, you guys talk a lot. XD

@chisagi - what are the books your bf got you? WE WANT TO KNOW. 8D

@knerd - yay, stitch and bitch. i have the original and s&b nation. and about a billion other knitting books. x3 have fun with son of!! (i was scared by it because most of it was sweaters. D: )

ps.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS, even if you don't celebrate it, because it's today.
but happy late/early whatever holiday you do celebrate. <3
i haven't opened my presents yet. i got the stocking and my brother opened one of my presents by accident (which was a cheque IN A BOX from my aunt and her family.)
in my stocking was:
candy (yaaaaaay sugar)
a penguin pooper thing (it's like a wind up toy that poops chocolate balls as it walks. my mom is WEIRD)
decorative penguin clothesline clips
a cheque from my step dad's dad (he give everyone checks because he owns a used car dealership and an angus ranch. on the side.)
a little glass goldfish (that looks like it's kissing something)
a pen with pandas playing guitar. and it says "kawaii" x_x
a green, super-soft bamboo loofa. <333
grog-flavoured pirate mints
and a TARDIS PHONE CHARM that LIGHTS UP AND SPINS when your phone rings. WHEEHEEHEEHEE. 8DDDDD

pps.
it is really weird using british spellings and phrases while thinking with a little bit of a texan drawl.
(yes, i'm picking one up. i noticed it while i was working register the past three days. XD)

@Cherry: You're a genius! That will be definitely useful; I have double copies of quite a few books... Yay! :glomp:

What should I put in the "referred by" segment?

@Knerd: I'm sorry you got no giftcard! But an external hard-drive sounds like a good bet. It makes room for friends to send you e-books. As such, if you at all like science fiction and fantasy, let me know!

@Rizz: Welcome!

@Dream: Yay! I hope you like it. He has a style which focuses a lot on corporations, mind you, but my sister preferred Jennifer Government to Syrup, so maybe you will too. :)

Edit: Leenie, yay!

It is in Chinese, but you can search in English for anglophone shows, and the layout is intuitive enough once you get used to it. Hope that helps! I actually watched the whole of the BBC Pride and Prejudice on a similar website. The only thing is that it loads much faster around midday in U.S. timezones, because more people are asleep on the other end of the globe.

I know! I'm having a midnight party fix, too! When you grew up with Harry Potter, it's as though nothing else will do. I don't think the Mercy Thompson series garners enough attention that they'll do a midnight release in February, although I'm trying to start a WOM so that it will be possible in future. Isn't Christopher Paolini (Eragon) planning another book, though? I heard that one on the grapevine.

Hee. Ditto. That would be worth a road trip.

Erm... sorry! I... talk... eh.... *smallifies self*

I like RL weddings. :P Books weddings are boring.
I had this whole preggo thing all thought out, and she took a completely different route than me. I thought that female vamps could probably hold the child but that male vamps couldn't reproduce because, what was that? Oh, right. Vamps don't have bodily fluids. D<

Hmm, what books did you have in mind?

I was thinking of getting my hands on some audiobooks - I also got a small MP3 player, and I know I'll be more likely to listen to it if I can get into some radio shows or books-on-tape.

I got a first edition copy of a complete illustrated version of the Secret Garden from my sister. She picked it up in an antique shop. I have quite a few versions of that book. My grandmother took me to see it at the Kennedy Center years ago. I love that story. It was one of the first "real" books I read on my own. I read it in second or third grade...

@aislin - i've got the whole thing down. if i need to, i can search up the chinese title for the show and type it in that way. (i have asian fonts installed and it works wonders when i need to type something in japanese)
omgwut. a fourth. gawd. it was supposed to be a trilogy. gaaaaahhh. well now i know to tell anyone buying the series that there's a fourth one being written. (but yay, maybe midnight party) apparently it's just the third book, but it got split into two because it got SO HUGE that even teens wouldn't want to read it. (wikipedia saves my life)
we should go find gaiman together. and his house is so pretty. @_@;; (don't look at me, he just posted that on his blog
(the talking isn't a bad thing, i was just CONFUSED.)

@bishie - i get the same happy-high from both. i went to my cousin's wedding earlier in the year and i almost cried.
i'm still considering that carlisle can do a c-section, jacob can destroy whatever it is, and then there can be a future for werewolf babies. 8D (i haven't gotten to the birthing part yet, so i'm hoping. DON'T RUIN MY HOPE.)

@cherry - well colour me interested. MAX BARRY, BE WARNED.

@shadow - omg first ed WITH ILLUSTRATIONS?? that's like. godly.

ps.
ultimate irony of all ironies:
taking a picture of my mutilated former camera with my shinynew camera. <3
also: can i cry?

pps.
breaking dawn. ew. barf. gross. shudder. gag. i need to pause so i don't actually puke. D:
but, backtracking a little. LIZZIE. :3

ppps.
WHAT THE HELL KIND OF STUPID MADE UP NAME IS THAT?

pppps.
AHAHAHA FUCK YOU, GROSS BREAKING DAWN.
THE DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL IS DONE DOWNLOADING.
TAKE THAT.

@Knerd: A lot of them, actually. You could say that I have a cache of "back up books" on my computer. I'll PM you with a list of authors for whom I have a lot of works, and you can tell me if there's anything specific you're interested in. :)

@Shadowfoot: Awww! I love that book. My brother gave me my copy, and I read it when I was about the same age as you were-- I think it was second grade exactly.

@Kita: You make a very regal and awesome kitty.

@Leenie: Wow! That is a gorgeous house-- particularly decked in snow. Which, you know-- pretty house, pretty man, pretty books. It's an all out PrettyFest.

Congrats on your new camera! And yes, you can cry. And I will give you a tissue-- if I have any left over because oh my word but that is a sad list.

Heee-- okay, was that last comment about "Renesmee" or did I miss something?

you know. if it weren't creepy, i would say i want to touch him.
but it is, soooo... i'll hug him instead. XD
thanks~ my old camera just kindof died. it wouldn't turn on anymore, so i was like "i need a camera ASAP"
i really wanted a nikon dslr, buuuut it's way expensive. i am currently earning the highest salary in the house and i work part time on almost minimum wage. >_>;;
it was a very sad list, but at least it was only teen bestsellers and not the adult ones. that would have been very sad.
yes, yes it was. i'm like. confused whenever they say it.

ps.
i totally geeked out about the dw xmas special. <3

Sure! The list will take a little while to make-- I'm not even really sure which ebooks I have until I scan my various and ill-organized folders. I'll put up a list later on today (it's 2am right now) so that you can both look through it. :)

I understand! Though I, too, will stick with hugs. Still, all of my friends have been reading Gaiman lately (since seeing Stardust, actually), and we've all been getting progressively more fangirly with each book. It's funny. :P

I understand what you mean about the saving! Good digital cameras are actually frighteningly expensive, too. That whole economic downturn thing is starting to be about as much fun as your average STD.

Waiiit, I missed the acronym. Doctor Who, right? I've never watched it. *hides in shame*

EDIT:

I put a list of the authors for whom I have ebooks after my challenge list. PM me if you've a book you'd like to read from that author, and I'll let you know if I have it.

@aislin - goodness, i have to go ahead and rape your list once i get more space free on my hard drive. it's about that time again to burn dvds. i may have enough to do a couple bollywood movies dvd. =DD
i know what you mean. XD i've been slowly fangirling more and more since... well i have no clue, but i started with sandman. and i saw stardust and decided that i had to read it, even though i had had the book for ages. (as well as coraline and good omens, both of which i have yet to read.)
omg std. x3
but yeah, the one i got was like $200 something, but the one i had before was about 100-150 when i got it new.
yeah, doctor who. you can find torrents online of the episodes. you can also find them on youtube, but the quality is pretty crappy. i'm going to recommend you check it out, at least one episode. one random episode from the first two seasons of the new dw. i started off with "fear her" right before the two-ep finale of the second season.

@bishie - ... you get bbc one? because bbc america totally played the other three christmas specials today.
and omg. another house fan. i want to watch it, but i have so many other things to watch. not to mention i don't usually watch live tv. or tv that normal american people watch. (i watch bbc america and adult swim for the most part)
