I really loved Oddworld to be honest. I still have my PS1 and I want to find some games for it.

Reading everyone's choices, I see many games that would easily fit on my list. So, I'll just add to the list the games I didn't see like:

Tenchu 1&2
Bushido Blade
Fear Effect 1&2
Rival Schools
Toshinden 1-3

Spyro for me as well, but also Final Fantasy VIII and Chrono Cross. xD I was just a little kid at the time, so I didn't really understand anything about FF and CC, though. But I loved them for the music and the graphics. <3 Now that I've got my PS2, I've been getting back into FF and CC, but we sold/gave away the Spyro ones.

These were the exact two games I was going to choose. :D

My favorite ps1 games were Tactics Ogre (I absolutly love tactical games with class systems), Monster Rancher 2 (trying out every cd I could find to see what monster I'd get was addicting), Digimon World 3 (I loved the cartoon series and I love raising and battling monsters), and finaly Final Fantasy 9 ( its graphics completly blew me away on the ps1 I loved the characters and the story). They are my top ps1 games there are others.

Castlevania, BloodRayne, Silent Hill and Resident Evil. They're just the most awesome ones. It's worth playing more than one time.

I was also a huge Spyro fan. There was also this game called T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger which I played all the time but my PS1 broke before I ever got to complete it.

I need to play Legend of the Dragoon all the way through once... I have it but have not... lol

Medieval, Spyro, Final Fantasy IX, Oddworld, Crash Bandicoot, Silent Hill... Those were awesome.

I loved playing Spyro Year of the Dragon. It's what ultimately got me into the Spyro series.

loved playing Digimon World, although it was difficult to get the digimon back to File City and lvling and raising my starter digimon but it was fun.

I also loved playing Final Fantasy VII on my PS2, but since I got my PS3 I'm probably going to have to start over, but need to rebuy Disc One since I lent it to a friend who is probably never going to give it back =.=

Crash Bandicoot was probably my favourite as a kid, I had 1,2,3, Crash Bash, CTR and Nitro Kart. I also loved the first Spyro, Croc 1 and 2, Pandemonium, Klonoa, Final Fantasy IX, Alien Trilogy and Silent Hill. I also liked Tomb Raider 2, but only because it was fun to lock the old man in the meat locker on the mansion introduction level thing. ;D

Oh my god, I forgot Hogs of War, that was an amazing game. Rik Mayall. <3

I also had some weird game called One Piece Mansion, I think? That was weird but fun.
There was also a bizarre game called Excalibur 2555AD, I just remember the creepy cockney salesman guy on the first level.

Abes Odyssey is a game that I used to play loads as a child. And Street fighter 2 :D

I loved to play Croc, Treasure Planet and Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Those games were awesome when we were little. I nearly managed to finish Treasure Planet but the my mum accidently deleted my save.

Final Fantasy 7 prolly is the best game for the ps1 for me.. and Chrono Cross.

Think mine would have to be Crash Bandicoot 2. Used to spend so much time on that game
