Leon's eyes widened, his whole body almost standing up if he weren't in a vehicle. It seemed that Alice had decided to take the risk of smoking inside the HAS unit and somewhat paid for it. The smoke contaminated the BI fluid and she had ended up swallowing a bit of it. According to her vital signs she would be okay, but she had wrecked the data. The BioIntertia fluid probably wasn't too healthy for her either. He had to go ask one of the scientists for an ingredients list.

Leon stretched his arms a bit in the Hunter unit, remembering on why he primarily used this as his vehicle and not had licenses to pilot any other. This one was fast and definitely more agile than any other which fit him. One who avoided fighting when possible and outracing all other units statistically. Unfortunately there wasn't much shielding which meant easy damage, if you were able to land any that is. he had never flown in this unit or any other Hunter unit before, but heard that it could result in overheating. Well he was sure Alice would like it. She liked doing anything that could result in major damage or possible death.

"Mmm," Alice mumbled, before tossing the bus a few good feet away from her with a grunt. She sighed deeply, seeing the fluid evacuate out of the unit. Who knew a cigarette could do so much damage in one setting? However, she came out of the HAS unit in a coughing fit, and spit out her joint onto the floor. The coughing subsided for a moment, "Did I pass?" she asked, grabbing her head in agony.

She was sure the R&D Department had had enough of her, but she didn't care. Actual things like that could happen during combat. And of course, if not, Alice was sure to make it happen- one way or another. But right now, she needed something for this upcoming headache. That was one risk, she wasn't up for.

Surprised at the man’s laughter she stared at him in surprise for a second before re-composing her self and looking back at the testing HAS unit. “Well at least he has a sense of humor” She thought as she watched the HAS unit vent out a liquid her interest peeking in what on earth they where testing. “It must be horribly unstable of they were stopping then.” She thought as she turned to look over the room mildly surprised to see other officers besides her self there.

“Pardon me Sir but what on earth are you testing?” She asked after a moment after debating if she should ask or not. Tilting her head she looked between him and Has unit she waited knowing that the answer was sure to be some thing interesting if he was there personally to over see it.

"I appear to be testing a failing project.." The commander stated, clenching a fist as he looked away again. That would be failure twenty four, at this rate he may as well just get regular inertia fluid and force pilots to wear environmental suits. but he wasn't willing to give up just yet, "I sent a message also for one miss 'DeChagne'. Yet I do not see her here, I may have to caution her on her punctuation, but until then I suppose we have the freedom to talk." He moved over to the window, activating a comm and calling out to the two HAS units,
"Alright you two, Valerio, Connor, dismount and come up to the second Observation deck. In your own time." He ordered, closing the link and sitting down on a nearby bench.

The scientist mumbled to himself about how he should have confiscated her cigarettes, perhaps their very presence was enough to start spreading toxins. Eyes over to the regular Hunter Unit but then back to the Guardian II,
"Pass? We barely got our feet off the ground and already we ran into a problem." The scientist finally replied to her question, he seemed almost irritated, fingers tapping away furiously at the console, "Well? You heard the commander, come back, get out and head to the observation deck."

Leon stepped out of the Hunter, stretching as he did so. He pushed up his glasses, his head turning to Alice. Another reason why she can't smoke during work hours or testing. He looked around, walking over and grabbing back his laptop. He nodded to the commander as he started to head up to the deck. Cigarettes had been around back when the old Earth was still considered very new yet in all those years no one had developed an effective cure.

He walked out and up to second observation deck, seeing the commander there with Fox. She had been in the Mersenne 5 much longer than he had and definitely had more experience as well. He decided to sit down on a bench, opening up his laptop. Unfortunately there wasn't much data to record besides "smoking isn't good for BI fluid" and that he should have just tested it.

Alice sighed, knowing that she might have pissed off the commander. Stepping on her dead cigarette, she exited the unit and headed back into the deck. What the hell had Leon been doing this entire time, anyhow? If she had knew any better, he was probably hacking his way into another aircraft.

On her way up, she reached into her pocket and sought out a peppermint stick. It seems as if cigarettes had done enough damage, so she would have to suffice without one for a bit. Alice just hoped that she wasn't that deep in trouble, as she made her way into the deck and spotted the commander already there.

Krista sighed and typed the new information into the computer. Her finger tips danced across the keyboard as she wrote up the dead officers name, his birthdate, blood type, and the date of his death.
Sadly, she also had to write the reason for his death. Which wouldn't come until after the obtopsy was done.
Krista leaned back in her chair and pushed some of her brown hair back. A sigh escaped her lips as she thought about all the work she had done today. She rubbed her temples and then closed her eyes.
She had to stop taking these requests, though, Krista had to admit she was a work-a-holic. Many of her office buddies had told her so. Saying that she needed to have more fun, go dance, have a party or something on her days off.
What days off? Krista thought, ever since she had signed up for this job she had piles and piles of work. Paper, paper, and more paper. But honestly, this was all she was good at. Pushing papers and being a computer nerd, yes, I said computer nerd. Sad, but true, Krista had been good with computers since she was a teenager.
The only reason she really stayed here was because she couldn't stand the violence. She would rather be hiding behind her neat little desk then be out in that battle field. She applauded those who did go into the muck, but did not envy them.

Kerry looked at the man then she could almost feel the dejection in his voice as he spoke. Shaking her head she looked again at the units and back to the mess of the lab. Nodding at Leon as he entered the room, she focused her attention on the Commander. Something going right in his day would make the whole base a lot safer and saner place. Sitting across from him she waited a moment before speaking.

“You know you only fail if you give up right? I think that was some place in last weeks motivational “don’t get shot” speech. Sir” She started softly “I think if we strip this back to basics, you might find your problem. Correct me if I am wrong here but it is a biofluid right? And……wellllll…… You did test it to see if it absorbed outside contaminates, sounds silly but I remember there was some thing in Old Mars’ life system that had to be in a clean system or it malfunctioned…It was in the papers for years after it happened.” She gave a slight shift wondering if she had been to out spoken, but he had said freedom to speak.

The commander placed a hand over his head, laying it back lightly and giving off a somewhat irritated sigh,
"That project is exactly what I based this off." The commander rubbed at his eyes as though tired, but it was really more just the stress weighing him down, "I'll figure out what is wrong sooner or later, but if it isnt soon enough our funding for that particular project will just be cut off completely.

Red eyes looked across at the approaching officers he had requested, a hand waving to the same bench where Officer Fox had seated herself. Again he activated his comm link,
"This is commander Mertens to Miss Smith. Finish filing that report and get here on the double. Mertens out." He relayed the order, straight and tot he point, pulling a device form his jacket and placing it on a nearby table. it was a Jammer and silencer, experimental but functional, it simply made hearing them outside a certain range impossible, and all communications devices would simple fail to register anything. Obviously the man wanted privacy for some reason,
"I'm sure you're all wondering why I've called you all here, as much as I'd like to explain right this instant I cannot, we will wait for Miss Smith to arrive and I will explain everything in full."

"Ah, I'm late I'm late I'm late!" The small figure that scrambled through the hallway of Mercenne 5 belonged to a certain Isabelle DeChagne, one that the Commander had mentioned minutes ago. Her jade eyes were blazing as she skidded about, trying to make haste while avoiding running into individuals about the hallway - not that one could call her successful in such an endeavor, but at least she was trying. Worse, she was only clad partially in her uniform - a pair of jeans had repaired the standard issued pants. I wonder what's going to tick him off more, Izzie thought with a grimace as she rushed to where she figured the Commander would be. The pants, or my lateness. I hope he's not pissed off already...

The last thought had given her a smile, however - it was only on rare occasions when one was able to find the commander in a good mood. She'd be lucky if others were present when she finally faced the Commander - maybe that would prevent him from lecturing too much. "A late soldier is a dead one, blah blah blah." Already she could imagine the words marching steadily out of his mouth, each as astute and serious as he was. She slowed down as she approached the observational deck, catching her wind as she approached Mertens. Thank god she was in good shape and recovered fairly quickly from her mad run from the other side of HQ to this one.

"Reporting for duty, sir." She said snappily as she came to attention, though her eyes wandered to the others around the room. She thought that she might have recognized some of them, though it was hard to place a specific name to each of the faces.

Krista nearly jumped out of seat when she heard the announcement. Though, it had been directed toward her, Krista hated the loud noise.
She pushed some of her long brown hair back, jumping had made it fall out of place. Her heart was racing when Krista put her hand on the mouse and pressed 'sleep mode' on her computer. She then stood up and proceeded to walk down to the observation deck.

Well, more like speed walking, when the commander asked for something you were there on the double, or not at all. Krista didn't like that, but pushed her glasses up and took a deep calmly breath.
It's just the captain.
Clip clop, clip clop, her heels sounded as she walked down the hall, listening to the sound was actually driving her mad but...
THE captain, the one she had...admired for a full that she had been working there. She didn't dare say she loved him. She barely knew the man.
That's not true. She knew many things about him, about his incident that forced him to have prostetic legs and arms. That he was a very determined and concentraited man, and also, like most powerful men. He had a soft side, not that she had seen most of it. Though she knew he had one. Or he wouldn't be so angry over the loss of officers like Jenkins.

Krista finally made it to the door of the observation deck. She smoothed her tan skirt that barely went down to her knees, and straightened her white shirt and suit-like jacket. She swiped her pass key into the electronic lock, when it opened, she walked through the door and saluted,
"Secretary Smith, reporting for duty Captain." Just seeing him made Krista blush, but she managed to keep a straight face while looking him in the eyes. She was good at looking proffesional at least.

"Good, good. And get it right, I am a Commander, not a Captain." The superior officer looked over at the approaching secretary, having noted the half dressed officer with something of an irritated glare while the door hissed, closing behind the secretary. Almost as if on cue the windows were covered with a black shielding and the doors locked,
"There, I believe that is everyone." He noted, standing up and placing his arms behind his back calmly, "As you are aware, things haven't been going well around here. Good officers are dying left, right and center, even rookies get hunted down. And, frankly, I'm getting quite tired of it. The Federation isn't helping us either, I cant say I'm best pleased but thats just the way it goes,"

He walked a half circle around the center room, much like pacing before placing his hand on his head as though staving off a headache,
"I'm tired of it all, to tell you the truth, we have no help but we're in a dire state, at this rate we'll be overrun and we'll have no way to save the citizens from being plagued by the gang warfare and constant warring corporations. Cybertech, Nanodyne and Ravencroft industries are going to tear this colony apart and before the Federation can stop it; they will inevitably take over and undermine our authority." He looked about at the collected few,
"I have a list of people who took my interest, everyone here has a role I wish for them to fulfill. For example," He pointed at Leon, "You're the best damn computer expert in this entire complex, over two hundred separate attacks on our computer systems all thwarted with no damage at all to us, and you probably weren't even trying very hard."

He then turned on his heel slightly to the slightly younger ALice, arms behind his back,
"And as rebellious as you may act, Alice, in spite of how often that irritates me, you're tenacious, a risk-taker and that can easily scare away those trying their luck when facing up against you in a HAS unit... Though I you could probably do something about the smoking." The commander smirked, it was a joke, for the main part, she'd probably heard enough about smoking as it was today,
"Then there is Officer fox," The commander looked over his shoulder at the named individual, "You've survived horrors most other Officers could not understand and you're a proud figurehead for many budding young rookies, especially females, you've got to admit they all look up to a strong woman. And the ego of men pushes them to work harder, a silly notion, but effective nonetheless."

"Then there's our later arrival here, " He stared at the only BioArcanist among them, "Where the doctors failed, you've come through on my request several times to use your BioAranist power and heal the injured, I'm thankful for that and though you may be a bit.." He noted her clothes, "Unorthodox... We've measured your power, theres no stronger a BioArcanist in the entire station, the researchers theorize that's the reason various... Incidents happen around you. A little more control over it and you may be one of the most fearsome things standing between civilians and whatever is coming their way."

"And finally, as random as it may seem, there is the secretary Krista." He looked over at the out of place secretary, she was among a group of officers with the commander himself planning a role for her, "You may work in the offices, but I've given you many orders and tasked you variously, not once have you ever leaked information asked to be kept secret and are probably one of my best confidants. I believe you have a datakey I gave you three months ago? Would you please hand it to me now?" The commander held out his hand, waiting for her to pass it, he'd asked her to keep it safe and on her person at all times.

Krista dug into one of her suit coats pockets and pulled the datakey out. Him saying she was one of his best confidents...Krista couldn't stop the blush going into her cheeks at his compliment. She held out her small hand and placed it in his, not even brushing his hand. She pulled away and looked away from him so she wouldn't blush even more.
Suddenly the suit sounded like a bad idea, she hoped she wasn't sweating. Though, she only saw him a few times during the day. It was fun to be around him when he was in a good mood.
But he was right, alot of officers were getting gunned down. Most of them by gangs and other groups centered on violence. She had put down hundreds of records of dead officers by now and she had to be the one to send the letter to their families. She couldn't imagine going to them in person. She couldn't handle that kind of pain in person.
Though, Krista felt a little sad. She didn't play a very big role in her commanders plans, she was only a secretary. She did paper work....and not much else, yes she had kept the datakey hidden. But that had been a very simple task...She wasn't like these elite people who could drive all the different kinds of machines and weapons. Krista may have been a good shot, but she wasn't exactly very skillful with the larger machines.

Leon closed the laptop, hearing the Commander start to speak. He mentally sighed, accounting how many officers had died already. So many gangs, more now than when he was out of the Mersenne 5. Or maybe it was because of that, that he noticed more of that activity. He tapped his fingers along the cover of his computer, smirking when his name was said. Two hundred and six to be exact, but who's counting? He was sort of proud of his trade.

He continued to listen to the reasons why everyone else was here, chuckling silently at Alice. His head turned to the late arrival, Izzie. He didn't really know her that well, only that she was a BioArcanist and was supposedly a good one too. He didn't quite know why though that the secretary was here other than the key. Which he wanted to check out by the way. A confidant... He shrugged. Well she was probably a fast typer so that might be it.

"If theres every anyone who will get the job done, it is Miss Smith." The commander nodded to the woman, sure looking at her plainly as a secretary made her seem less than valuable, compared to the well trained officers and highly experienced soldiers like himself and Officer Fox, but there was a value he could see below the training. No fuss or argument, Krista always got her tasks done, but only ever for him. That was loyalty. Probably one of the greatest assets people could have.

"Now," The commander moved to a computer panel in the wall of the room, tapping in a code before a multitude of screens came online, lights dimming. Next came in the insertion of the key, on his mark the screens came to life piling on randomized information and rearranging it all until a wolf-like symbol revealed itself, then transforming into the Federation Badge before opening a briefing screen,
"First of all, I will be assigning you codenames, these are four each others ears mainly. Leon, you will be Blue Parasite. Regarding officer Fox, she will be Red Fox. Alice, Grey Wolf is fitting, wouldn't you think? Miss DeChange, Green Raptor. Krista, you will be Black Dove. And I am White Raven." As the commander listed these off, their names appeared in order, followed by their codename highlighted by the color he had specified before this faded.

Finally various details regarding firearms came up, the commander folding his arms,
"As we all know by now, the gangs are being supplied weapons, but the maker is unknown, there is no signature or design codes set inside the weapons, which means we have no real way of telling who created those weapons. This is why I'd like Parasite to find his way into the systems of the three companies, one of them will hold plans for guns like these and most likely they are the ones providing the streets with these cop-killing tools. I know this is an illegal proceeding, but as the only people who give a damn about this city I believe we have the right to change the rules a little." The screen changed to the three logos of the corporations,
"What we do know though," He pointed towards Ravencroft's insignia, "Ravencroft has a great deal of its own firearms missing from the production line. I'd suspect them first, though at the same time, their private army may be the ones who received these missing arms."

The commanders line of thought was cut short as a great shaking rumbled throughout the building, the sound of a blast coming in clear as day. This caused the commander to stumble slightly before he looked to the locked doorway,
"What in the hell was that?!" He asked, though not really at anyone in particular before the systems AI came online,
"Intruders detected on ground level, level two and three, unregistered firearms detected, intruders have begun opening fire."
"A raid?!" The commander asked aloud, running tot he door, it was locked, system lockdown to prevent intruders, this was the research department after all. This didn't stop the commander though as thrust a hand through the locking mechanism itself, punching a hole through the steel door before prying it open with ease, courtesy of his powerful prosthetic limbs.
"I think its time the proverbial bird started feasting on these early worms."

Psh, Captain, Commander - same thing. Izzie thought flippantly as she shrugged and went to stand besides one of the others there, inspecting the secretary. They made an interesting mix, the lot of them. She stopped looking at the others as the commander began speaking - of course, the computer hacker. How could she had missed him? As the commander began to speak about her, she resisted the frown that was easing its way onto her face. No stronger bioarcanist? She couldn't but to a bit pessimistic, but just how many other Bioarcanists were here in this station? She didn't miss his disapproval over her clothes, but she simply gave a wan smile before he moved on to the next person.

I should be grateful that he considers me valuable.

She couldn't help but to look at the secretary again - a confidant, eh? It was interesting to see the faint blush on her cheeks - shy around men? She turned her inquiring gaze back to the Commander, however, as the datakey was handed over to him and he began explaining their clandestine mission. It was a little bizarre that she was only one called by her last name, other than Officer Fox, but she didn't protest as much as she hated it [after all, at least she had enough brain to know not to interrupt Mertens in the middle of a speech]. "Green Raptor," she whispered the words softly, running it over her tongue get the feel of it. It was a bit strange, but if it got the job done who was she to complain?

The explosion shook her tiny frame as she fell back and clung to the wall for support until the brief tremor faded to nothing. "They're getting brave, aren't they?" She remarked coldly as she pushed herself into an upright position again. Those bastards. A cold anger seized her, though by now she has learned enough control by now to stay calm - it was important to do so as someone with control over Bioarcana. Impressed by the Commander's display of strength, she followed him and stepped out into the hallway. Already a seed of fire was spinning at the tip of her finger, ready to be launched at anyone that may come out at them unexpectedly.

(( Sorry, for the hella late response. School's been hectic. :\ ))

Alice nodded to her compliment, and heard Leon chuckle a bit to the Commander's comment about her smoking; she smacked her hand to her forehead, shaking her head in disapproval. Gray Wolf, eh? she thought to herself, smirking. She couldn't help but think that it was a little cliche, but it would do fine -for now.

The entire explosion from below, knocked Alice clear onto her bottom. The impact caused her to crush the peppermint stick between canines, which broke off onto the floor. She growled -it was the only thing close to a cigarette, for the time being -and regained her composure as she slowly got to her feet. If she wasn't mistaken, they were being attacked.

"The confident bastards," Alice hissed, rushing out the door towards ground level. Might as well, seeing as how she was 'tenacious'.

Blue parasite? Interesting code name. Leon nodded in approval, listening the commander continue, opening back his laptop and adding the names "Ravencroft, Cybertech, and Nanodyne" to his to-do list, emphasizing Ravencroft. He'd get to it soon, along with all the other stuff he had to do under those names. He shook though when the explosion occurred, almost dropping his laptop. His prized possession. Thankfully he caught it in time and was able to regain his posture.

Hearing a growl from Alice's mouth, Leon cracked a barely visible smile. Gray wolf indeed. He sighed, closing and saving the text document before, pulling up a program linking him to the security cameras in the building. He pushed up his glasses, moving the mouse around to swivel the camera. He saw the others leave, but decided instead to stay here, where he could control most of the security, lest they try cyber-hacking and a raid wasn't always the best time to go ballistic (no matter how much he wanted to just make the wires come to life and strangle the lot of them.

The commander looked back Leon, he was already doing his thing, but with a smirk he walked over to Leon, folding his arms,
"How about testing the iCorena security system for me? Treat her nicely and she'll pay in kind." He tilted his head slightly with a grin, "Access the system administration, Name STC, Password 8394361. Then go to directory Sec-Slash-Sys. Search the hidden folder, iCorena and open it with the password Lineard." He instructed Leon very meticulously. Even though he was an excellent hacker in his own right, sometimes the information to get into hidden files just wasn't at his grasp. At least regarding various hidden projects much like that one,
"And remember what I said! Treat her nice or she'll not do anything for you."

The commander then looked over to Kerry, motioning for her to follow before looking to Krista,
"Stay here with Leon, you'll be safe." Mertens stepped toward the exit he had made with his bare hands, moving to a wall panel and opening it up, there were many like this in the building, hidden sections with guns or other small collections of equipment waiting for use. James pulled probably one of the simplest weapons in the small armory, a hand-pistol followed by an energy saber, but he doubted it would need use, thus securing it to his belt and drawing out his own service pistol from his belt.

Down on the bottom two levels, the bodies of officers and thugs littered the floor not to mention helpless ground floor secretaries and even men who were previously being arrested were now either dying, dead or being given weapons to escape or join the fight. Walls were scorched with blast holes and fires were scattered among some desks, it had become something of a war zone, the marauding maniacs were aplenty.

((Apologies this week has been a bit tough with HW...and that whole I am at school again thing.))

Kerry had listened to the Commanders words he mind turning with what exactly he was proposing to them all. Her own nickname was no surprise but she would have to hope that no one would put two and two together...it just seemed a bit too stupid to work. The rest she figured would fill its self out, like most of his more lunatic plans that worked.

The blast on the other hand was unwelcome and for a few moments she surveyed the room her eye betraying her inner panic as she watched for any sign they might be crashing down. The Commanders voice jerked her out of her own mind and the fears that had been building with in them and she willing fallowed him as he left the room her mind already jumping about it its normal pre-battle check list.

After Martens had picked his gear, she set about pulling the things she could use out of the small catch, a few grenades were produced on the first look and Kerry muttered darkly at the lack of any thing more high power. After a second look about she grabbed the case of the large machine like gun and a few of its rounds and added the only protection vest to her stack before pulling the door shut. It only took her a moment after that to get the gear on and arranged before hefting the gun to her shoulder and giving the Commander and grin.

"So then shall we? I would hate to leave our company with out proper entertainment."

Krista blinked in confusion, black dove? How odd, she listened to rest of her commanders explanation and gasped. Most of the things they were doing were illgeal! Krista couldn't imgaine what would happen to them if they were caught...
Then, the rumbling sound caught Krista off guard. Her hand searched for her gun, drats!
Must have left it at my desk!
Krista looked around for a gun then heard her commanders orders,
"Yes commander.." she stuttered, Krista didn't like violence, she always had to put herself in the mode for violence and usually that ment once she started, it was hard to stop her.

She finally found a gun and kept it close to her, if they came in here, she would blast them,
"Good luck commander, Mrs. Kerry." Krista held the gun downward to the floor, gun safety always came first. She didn't want to accidentally blast something in there. But her eyes were fearful, her heart beating way too fast for comfert. Krista still pushed up her glasses and got ready to take aim if someone came to the door.

The new girl as they called her, walked up and down the halls of the facility. She had dark skin, purple hair, and white makeup. She kinda looked like a freak but in her official uniforn it made her looka little better. It was one of those "ganguro girls" her name was shizuki.
Since she was so new she was still working as a secretary in the main office, filing, archiving and etc... just a laboral pencil pusher...
but little did she know thatwhat was ahead of her was...

Leon nodded. "Don't worry, it's not like I'm an abusive hacker or anything." And hopefully I won't need to be. He held a small grin, as he started to type in the numbers into the system administration and access the Sec-Slash-Sys. He searched up iCorena, typing in Lineard. The system made a "blipping" sound before the shadow of a woman came on the corner of his screen, a slightly modulated voice coming out of the speakers. "Welcome to the iCorena." Hm, she didn't seem that fussy yet.

He'd have to poke around some more. "iCorena, activate hidden security cameras." He commanded in a firm voice. "What? I don't even get a please from you?" iCorena asked, crossing her arms. Leon sighed, shaking his head. "Okay, please activate the hidden security cameras." What happened to the days when AIs could be activated solely by hand or voice, no matter what the tone?

In medical lab 1 the situation was growing dire indeed, medics were rushing wounded through the door under severe gunfire; some being wounded in the process themselves. Dr. Agatha Munroe went from patient to patient, checking vital signs and occasionally delivering advice to medics. "Remind me when this is over to write a letter of complaint against whomever decided to hold off these...intruders next to my office...You! Take those patients who you're having trouble stabilizing up to medical lab 2, anyone who can walk take with you."

One of the medics, his arm showing signs of damage gave her an exasperated look. "Um...Doctor we're under heavy fire! We're barely able to get wounded IN here let alone get them out!" Agatha looked over the medic, first, maybe second year; young kid, no obvious prosthetics...a meat sack with a first aide kit. "No one said your job was easy...if we give you covering fire do you think you can get your wounded out of MY office?" The medic looked at the doctor, his face registering somewhere between deep thought and confusion. "We...Ma'am?"

Agatha walked over to her desk and pressed a few buttons on the wall panel, revealing several weapons. She plucked an assault rifle from the hidden cache and shut the panel. "Yes, we. Now if you please ensign please get ready to move your wounded."

"Alrighty then! That's much better!" The imagine of iCorena vanished from the laptop, a hologram sparking to life in the middle of the room. It was the image of a girl, barely past her teens, dressed in an old fashioned 'frenchmaid' dress with her hair even in the cute bonnet,
"Security Cameras Online! One moment while I wire them all to your laptop." She pointed at the laptop, a line of wires bursting from the ground and finding appropriate slots while iCorena began brushing at her nails absent-mindedly,
"Now, would you also like access to the Sentry guns?" She question, placing her hands behind herself and interlacing her fingers while she leaned over the laptop to stare at him, "I might even let you control them too."

"Neither would I." The commander retorted with a smirk, placing the spare gun in his belt while his usual handgun was holstered. The mainstream fighting had reached the second level by now, one floor down. Alice had run in one direction so it may as well have been divide and conquer as the commander calmly walked down the opposition direction down the split in the hall.
Almost as if on cue, one of the assailants had broken through the lines and came charging up the stairs, yet with a quick draw the captain emptied a single round into the man, square through the teeth and blowing a wall-splattering hole out the back of his skull,
"Looks like we're gonna get some fun early." He commented, continuing to walk toward the stairs, "Lock and load, Fox. Time to show these punks what they're getting themselves into."
