Ari'yal beamed with pride when Slayt mentioned her collection, and nodded eagerly. "I'm going back out to the shore again tomorrow," she said happily. Her large eyes moved back to Yokai when he spoke, a smile tugging at the edges of her lips. "I enjoy the human world because it's so . . . different and exciting! Can you imagine what they use this for?" Picking up a fork, she ran it through her hair. "I wish I knew."
Following Slayt with her gaze, the young woman narrowed her eyes. "Have you two officially met each other, or am I just assuming as much?" She reached forward to pat the tiny colorful fish that flit about her hair. "And this is my pet. I haven't named him yet, but he's a good little boy." The small scaled creature seemed to let out a small "coo" of happiness, burrowing into her red mane.

Yokai looked at the other boy.
"Oh...hello there...and you are?"he asked finding it odd how he never saw him before.
He then looked at the fork she ran through her hair.
"Maybe it IS a brush...just very different! Or maybe it's a toy trident!"he said.

Bio: Kira is a Dare-devil, Not afraid to go into a cave to get what she wants. She always helps out her friends when they are in need. She met Ari'yal when she was around 14 years old. They had met in a cave that had been coming down on them while she pulled out a barral of some kind from the ship on the other side of that cave. Her parents always hated it when she went out and they were the advisors of Ari'yal's father. So it looked pretty bad when she got into trouble somtimes. She just always examined the caves and when she had found the ship bringing out the barral, she gave it to her. She didnt know Ari'yal at the time but she just thought it a good peace offering for not getting ratted out.

Kira was swimming around in the seaweed, almost as if she was hiding from Ari'Yal and the others. She was backing up as she ran into the siren that was half octopus. She froze almost imediately on touching her body. She turned slowly as she saw Alex. Then she quickly smiled and put her hand on her head, rubbing it while closing her eyes out of embarrassment. "Sorry Alex, Didnt mean to bump into you. Ummm How have you been?"

Alex truned around quickly and saw Kira and sighed in relief glad it wasn't a shark or anything. She smiled lightly and replied "Just enjoying the view... I think I might visit a friend... although I have to wait until the sun sets" Her only human friend a young girl at 12 years of age met with her every other day at the beach. The girl was blind so she hadn't seen her but according to her she was able to see the world better without her eyes. She didn't understand how that worked though. "Do you want to come with me? She's really nice" her smile widened which for her was rare these days but this girl always made her feel good about herself even if it was only temprary.

I wonder if where shes going will be dangerous. Kira couldnt help but think so. She was always one for an adventure whereever she could find one. She had once gone into a cave that seemed very dangerous. She had swam through it and found an abandoned ship. Looking through it she didnt notice the shark that had been following her. As it attacked she raced through the area with a barral she had picked up as evidence. She went through it as the shark got stuck in the hole. As it tried to get out it created the shaking in the cave causing it to start collapsing on her. She had just gotten through the opening and ran into Ari'yal as the hole completely collapsed in. "Visit a friend huh? Why can you only meet at Night?" She was curious as to why they could only meet at night.

Slayt stopped looking around and swam up to Yokai. He smiled kindly and extended his hand to the boy.
"Hiya! I'm Slayt. You probably haven't seen me around because.. well, I'm always being watched by the elders and adults."
He stuck out his tongue, still smiling.

Yokai raised an eyebrow and shook the boy's hand.
"It's nice to meet you Slayt....cool name!"he said smiling.
"I hope we get along...."he said swimming over to take a closer look at her treasures.
"So, you have no Idea what all these things are?"he asked her after a long silence.

Alex replied to Kira "It's the only time she isn't busy" She felt the current around her change. The current (the underwater equivalent of wind) wasn't strong but strong enough to notice. She looked up to see that it was late afternoon and decided to go see her friend. "Well I'm about to go... so you want to come... she's really nice and fun to talk to."

"I really don't," Ari'yal said, placing the newest addition to her trove near the door. It reflected the light in a pretty way, sending a dim beam through the room. "But I'd love to know some day." The syren sighed to herself, spinning happily. "Maybe we can all go to the beach tomorrow to find more stuff. That would be fun."
The girl's red hair twirled about her scaled cheeks, and Ari'yal looked from one boy to the other. "How about it? Go to the beach for some fun in the morning?" Swimming back and forth between Slayt and Yokai, she grinned. "Please?"

"Same to you!" He replied to Yokai, watching him swim to the objects. He then turned to Ari'yal as she spoke.
"I wanna know, too!" He pouted, looking like a lost puppy. When she spoke of going to the beach his expression lit up again. "Yes! I would love to go! Pleasseee! You have to go, too, Yokai!" He practically shouted this, then quickly covered his mouth as his voice echoed. A small giggle escaped his throat, making him sound like a love-struck girl.

"Huh?" he said surprised to see Slayt so eager to go explore. It seemed all three of them loved an adventure and had just gotten a free ticket to it. Yokai thought and thought about it for a while before he finally reached a decision.
"Sure! where do we meet though?"he asked swimming to them.
"I'm sure you'll find out someday....we just have to be patient as clams."he added.
((Yeah, but how?))

"Yes!" Slayt laughed loudly, pumping his fist in the air/water. "This is gonna be great.."
He swam out of the trove, made a few circles around it, then zoomed back in, stopping right where he had been before. The last time he had tried to go to the beach he had been scolded by more than one adult.
"We should go see the sharks, too! I've never seen a shark..." Trailing off he looked around, then smiled at Ari'yal.

Kira looked at her and started to figure out what she might do. "Sure ill go with." She felt the shift in the current as well. She looked around in the direction at which it had shifted. Wondering if there was any caves with a strong current in the direction. Currents usually had some sort of strength in the caves especially. She looked back at Alex waiting to follow her to her friend.

((Hmm. Perhaps the next day? When they're on their way back from the shore, yes? ;)))

Ari'yal nodded eagerly, giving Yokai a tight hug. "It'll be lots of fun. We can meet here tomorrow morning?" Her eyes flashed over to Slayt as he giggled, and she let out a laugh. "You silly," she said. Swimming slowly back to the door to her trove, the syren narrowed her eyes. She could have sworn she had seen someone out there in the darker reaches of the water . . . but maybe it was just the flimsy light playing tricks on her eyes. Despite her precautions, the young woman ended up forgetting about the two figures she'd seen out there. Instead, she focused on her two "boy" friends.
Looking back and forth between the two, she smiled and held out a hand with her palm down. "Promise to meet here in the morning so we can go to the shore?" Her voice echoed about the trove, more of a mental note than anything, but it carried like a blip on sonar. With her long locks of red hair streaking about her face, Ari'yal calmed a bit. "Seriously, promise?" She looked hopefully between Slayt and Yokai, eager to hear their responses.

Alex turned and using her tentacles she swam awy in one direction assuming Kira would follow her. As she headed toward the nearby beach outside the nearby human settlement she wondered what Kira would think of her friend if she saw her. She knew that not all Siren's liked humans and wasn't sure if Kira was one of the ones that disliked them. She would find out soon being the water was slowly starting to get shallower and shallower as she led her to a rocky part of the beach and surfaced taking a breath of dry air and waited on Kira. If you had never before seen Alex's friend you might not know she was human though the thought might cross your mind.

He laughed shortly, looking around for what seemed like the hundredth time. As soon as she was finished speaking he slapped his hand onto hers, nodding eagerly. "Of course! It's easy enough to sneak away from everyone." He turned to Yokai now. "What about you? C'mon, Yokai!" His expression brightened impossibly more, waiting for his response along with Ari'yal.

Kira followed her. She made sure that no one saw her leave so she wouldnt get in trouble again. She watched as she kept going and going. But thats the thing. Where were they going? They were going towards the shore. The rocky shore and it seemed it was getting shallower. "By chance is your friend human?" She asked as she got to the shore and emerged. She didnt mind humans. Unfortunately she had never met one face to face. This would be interesting. Humans usually were invited in at the sight of a siren such as themselves. The males especially seemed to be attracted to them. It was kinda funny but she never actually met one so she couldnt tell if what the other sirens said was true.

Yokai thought and nodded quickly.
"Okay...I promise to be here in the morning first thing. Slayt, you seem to really be excited about this adventure we're going to have tomorrow! I just hope we don't encounter any humans..."he said smiling and holding Slayt's and Ari'yal's hands with his own.
"I have a feeling this will be dangerous but fun!"he added. His biggest fears about tomorrow were running into the sea witch or any humans.

He nodded again. "Humans shumans. We can take 'em if they're any trouble! And besides, if they own all this stuff I would love to meet one..." He smiled at Yokai, loving the feeling that he might get into trouble. It was fun to break the rules, anyone would agree at some point in their lives.

"I almost hope to see a human," Ari'yal stated, grabbing both of their hands. "I want to know what they really look like. And how they really act." She'd seen legends and pictures, but it was never the same.
"Alright, here tomorrow morning," the girl stated. "Let's head home and act good so we'll get more time tomorrow."
Using her tail, she gave herself a powerful boost to the door. "Race you home!" Ari'yal called over her shoulder as she shot back toward the city. She didn't even bother giving the boys a chance to react.

Slayt continued to nod, agreeing with every word she said. When she started to swim he watched, processing what she had said. After a second he blinked and shouted, then shot out after her, trying to catch up. He looked back and laughed loudly. "Come on, Yokai! Slow poke!"

"What! no fair!"he said and swam after her, but first he grabbed Slayt's hand and have him a boost as well. He have himself a boost and swan after both of them.
"No fair! you cheated!"he called after her laughing and swimming faster every second that passed. He never though that he would have to race her and now he knew it was true.

Alex answered "yes she is" Just then in the distance you could see a young dark skinned girl. Alex turned and saw her and called out "I'm over here Lexi!" The girl smiled and made her way over to them "Hi alex" She walked into the water a bit as she and Alex embraced. The young girl seemed unaffected by the cold water. "I have something to tell you Alex... you know that other servant boy I told you about?" Alex nodded "Yeah" Lexi's wide smile turned wider "Well he asked me on a date" Alex smiled and saiud in a happy tone that you never hear from her "That's wonderful... I hope your first date will be good" then she remembered Kira was there as well and introduced her "Lexi I brought a friend along her name is Kira" Lexi smiled "Hi Kira how are you?" she then waited for her to reply so she knew where she was. If you looked into her eyes you could see that she was blind.
