[[Waiting on me? Whoops, lol.]]
Alianor paused at Shiloh's suggestion. She, honestly, would be happy just to see the backs of these upsiders and have that be the end of it.
"Under normal circumstances, we would have respectfully avoided coming into the caves." Barak said, his hand not dropping from the hilt of his weapon. "But the storm forced us to take shelter here."
[[Aaaand short post is short, because I have no idea how to get Barak and Zak down into the caves, as prisoners or anything else]]

((^_^))
Dinah narrowed her eyes, and let the purple orbs flicker over to the cavern's entrance. Rain. Something completely foreign to the dark elf. In a sudden shift of moods, she became . . . serene. The woman suddenly ignored the humans, stepping forward until she could carefully extend a hand into the watery weather. She had never felt such a thing before. . . .
The look of pure excitement and pleasure that flickered across her face was intense, and Dinah closed her eyes with a sigh. The surface seemed so exciting . . . so pleasing. Why do we choose to live underground instead?
Looking back to Barak, the slender elf's eyes were lit up with joy. "Does it do this often?" she asked, reffering to the rain. She didn't know quite what to call it, but the black-skinned woman didn't care. "Does the sky cry like this all the time?"
Zak frowned in confusion, looking to his friend for a moment. Was this dark elf playing with their heads? Or was she serious? "Is she talking about the rain?" the youth shook his head, letting out a slight snort. She was nuts.

((Oh no writers block))
Shiloh tried to figure out what was going on outside as well. It was water falling from the sky like water when its poured from a bucket but not splashy like that. It was more of droplets of water. How could this be? How could the sky cry like this? All she knew of was the caves. It seemed astonishing to her when she walked towards it with Dinah. Instead of just a hand, she walked outside then jumped back in almost immediately from the suprise. It wasnt an illusion like she thought it was but it was truly refreshing.

"I forget, you two have never seen the surface. It's rain." Alianor said, shaking her head. Way to be terrifying, girls. She turned to Barak. "Relax, halfing, you'll get no quarrel from me. Pack up your camp and leave, before less chartible persons stumble upon you." Though she would not admit it, Alianor longed to go stand in the rain- she had only felt it once, when she was much younger, and could hardly remember the feeling. But she had to be the leader, here.
Not surprisingly, Barak wasn't inclined to move his hand away from his weapon. "I mean no offense, but I will feel better to be battle ready." The drow nodded in understanding, but Barak saw her fingers curl ever-so-slightly. He had seen the movement before- when a magic user was preparing to cast at a moment's notice.

"Sorry," Dinah muttered, shaking her head. Letting the water drip off of her fingertips, the dark elf moved to stand directly before Barak. "What else does the sky do?" she asked quietly, glancing toward Shiloh. "Is it true that it cries ice too?" The drow narrowed her eyes curiously at the half-elf's clothing - she'd never seen such outlandish garb. Reaching forward in a sort of daze, her black fingers ran over the ranger's soft mantle. (I'm guessing he's wearing a cloak? xD)
Zak rolled his eyes, and moved toward the woman that stood in the rain. "You're going to get sick," he said, moving out to stand beside her. Honestly, she didn't seem to pose a threat, but he was also known to be wrong - often. Brushing a few soaked strands of hair out of his eyes, he scanned over Shiloh, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm Zak," he said, extending a hand in a friendly manner. Completely inexperienced - he didn't know what he was doing. After all, even drow couldn't be completely evil, could they?

((Sorry guys i have to go to bed so this will be the last post for today.))
The human they wouldve killed had the rain not stopped them, now walked over to her. "You're going to get sick" He said standing beside her.
"Ive never seen rain" Shiloh said softly then regained composure and backed up a bit out of it. She moved some of the wet strands of hair out of her face to get a good look at the human that seemed to want to help her or at least get to know her. He reached his hand out as if it were some kind of gesture she didnt know.
"Im Zak" He said. She didnt know what was going on. It was foriegn to her. Most of the time when people introduced themselves in the drow world they would either bow or just say it. The hand seemed to mean nice to meet you from him. "Shiloh." The only word she spoke as she scanned the woods.
Zakeel ran through the cave to find that the scouts there had been killed. What happened? Did they kill these men then chicken out on the rest or are they just slow? Anything to get his supposed sister in trouble. He may not have been there when their dad died but he was there when she ran off. Such a coward. He walked towards the cave entrance only to see the others talking with the humans. "SHILOH. What do you think you are doing? These men invaded our caves. They must die. Your are such a weakling and a disgrace to the race of drow. All of you are." He took his swords out and brandished them.

Zak smiled, and nodded when she introduced herself. "Shiloh," he repeated, dropping his hand. He stepped into the cave and shook the water out of his hair in time to see Zakeel approach. His hand strayed to his own slender blade, and his eyes narrowed.
"It's about time, Abbil." One of the drow that had come with the group stepped out behind Zakeel, flashing him an evil grin. "Someone needs to bring these little children back into order." The male tapped his long blade, pointing toward the humans. "The females won't give the order to attack!"

Shiloh rushed back inside the cave in time to see her brother after he screamed her name and called them weak. It was a suprise to see that he was here. On the other hand it really wasnt. Hes always been trying to find ways of getting her in trouble.
"What are you doing here Zakeel?" She said in an almost scowl as she slowly moved her hand towards her blade and walked towards the group. What great timing. She finally gets to see the surface at a time when it rains and now her brother crashes the party.
"So nice to see that my sister is as weak as a human. If you do not kill them there will be punishment for your actions. The council will see to that." Zakeel said smiling. "I will see to that" He said under his breath. He was so happy that he would finally get to make someone suffer. With what he saw here, the females couldnt even do a simple job.
"What do you think we should do with them." He asked his partner with an evil smerk.

"You will do nothing but hold your tongue, Zakeel!" Alianor roared, her magic flaring around her. A shiny burn appeared on the male's arm, and she drew it back. "It is not your place to judge these upsiders- they have no invaded anything, and I will not murder in cold blood." She said coldly. "Back to the city, all of you. Dinah, Shiloh, and I will watch them until they are gone."
Barak took a surprised step back as the drow's magic nearly flattened him. She was insanely powerful- moreso than any mage he had met before. Perhaps he was right to fear these drow.

The male, Nafien, smiled when he heard Zakeel's words. Only a male of high standings could even look a female in the eye, let alone talk to them this way. Then again, surface dwellers were also the worst of all creatures, and here they were standing not a few feet away.
Slapping Zakeel's arm in a friendly manner, he headed back to the other group. After all, Alianor was still a female, and Nafien himself was under her command. He wouldn't risk his neck for a small scuff like this one.
"Tell me what happens when you get back," he called to Zakeel, pulling his long hair behind him into a low ponytail. "I'm eager to know."
Dinah flinched slighly as Alianor's magic backlash hit them. She stepped toward Barak as he stumbled back, catching his arm to keep him upright. Muttering a few drow words, the woman kept his arm in her hands. "She won't kill you," she said quietly. "Don't do anything to anger her."
A sudden shift of emotions and intentions overcame Dinah, and she suddenly wished to help these humans. She had never enjoyed the evils of the Underdark, but seeing this brought forth another emotion - this was good. These people were good, unlike her own people. If they lived on the surface, they couldn't be that bad . . . nothing that lived in such a beautiful world could possibly be as horrible as the drow said.
Watching Barak with wide purple eyes, the black-skinned elf quieted. She would have to go back home after they either killed the surface dwellers or let them run off. So what do I do?
