Thaddeus listened with greedy curiosity. He was still young at heart when it came to learning new things and about new people. He took in what Aurora had told him, and was quite intrigued that she came upon her necromancy by accident. That didn't happen often. She then spoke of her gifts and curses, and the way she saw things. The scar on her arm, Thaddeus knew was not the only one. Her scent had slowly become much stronger as she was rested here in his palace and if he hadn't been so interested in her alive, he might have lost control. Might.
He was about to ask what exactly Aurora liked best about her magics, when the door silently opened. In the small crack was the girl his people had found in the snow. He looked at her, not in a rude or disliking manner, but simply curious, as he always was. He felt her heart-rate rise and blood rushed to her pale, still sick face. She made what sounded like an apology and quickly left.
The king gracefully stood and looked down at Aurora, "If you would pardon me, milady. It seems our other guest has woken up before my servants thought she would. If you like to join me, you may." he gave her a light smile, "Maybe we can continue this conversation at a later time. I would love to know more." and he left the room.
His footsteps made no sound on the crystal floors as he followed the young woman who had been at the door. He found her wandering aimlessly. She looked annoyed, but bewildered. By the look of her, she had heard of the Crystal Palace before. She must have lived in one of the guarded towns. The ones he allowed to have a natural cycle of seasons. His clothes were now the ones of a kings again, the ice and snow seeming to have sewn him the very garments he wore. He took a few steps closer to the girl, her back was to him, "Milady," he said in his honey voice. She spun around to face him, "Welcome to the Crystal Palace." and he extended his hand.

Aurora noticed the girl standing at the doorway. Without even really thinking she started to analyze the girl. Much like a doctor, with many more years of practice. She noticed the sick pale face, even slow movements. Everything lead to hypothermia. Though that was the obvious answer. Thaddeus seemed to take notice also.
"Alright" Aurora answered back as the man left. She turned towards the desk as Thaddeus left the room and headed down the hall. Reaching up a hand she picked up a bag. "May I please have a hot mug of water?" Aurora asked the air. The mug came and she put the leaves inside a strainer and lowered it into the water. Standing herself up slowly.
It had been several minutes when the girl and Thaddeus left. With mug in hand, she headed down the crystal halls towards where she could feel Thaddeus standing. She seemed to come in at a quiet time. Slowly stepping herself forward. They seemed to be speaking, and the girl rather annoyed. For what reason, Aurora did not know. She bowed stepping into the room. before walking over to the group and holding the mug out to Selena. It was a tea that would both warm he up, and give her energy. Something simple. The girl was not sick enough for the stronger things of coarse.
"Excuse me." Aurora said quietly. Averting her eyes in case the girl felt anger towards her. She turned, heading back down the hall way. Bowing again while she left. She did not go to talk after all, only to merely offer assistance to the girl.

Selena stopped talking. She couldn't think. What had he said again? She put her hand to her head and sipped the tea the woman had given her. It warmed her throat. But it wore off too soon. Nothing stopped the cold. Selena put the mug to her lips again. It tasted very good. All too soon the mug was empty. Selena sighed and placed the mug on a table beside her and looked up. The man looked at her as if she were to answer something. She asked him to repeat it, and he did. But Selena just couldn't process the words. Her head hurt very badly and she was suddenly very tired. She put her hand out, as if she were going to fall. Carefully, Selena lowered herself to the ground and sat there, hugging her knees.
After a few minutes, she got up again. Her head still hurt, and she was still cold. A tiredness swept over her and she fell to the ground. She had fainted.

Thaddeus caught the girl before she hit the ground. She was still very sick and he could smell it. Carefully he picked up the frail creature and carried her back to her room with the seemingly loving touch of a father. Thaddeus had been visited my many wandering children and he knew what to do and how to act.
He reached her room and wrapped her up in the thick and warm blankets. He placed a cold hand on her forehead and she was beginning to build up a fever, cold pulsing throughout the rest of her body. Thaddeus sighed. Too many children had died from the cold that he loved. Now that this one was in his care, he wasn't going to let that happen.
Thaddeus called the servants to watch the girl and to get him as soon as she looked like she was going to wake up. He didn't want her walking out on her own again. If he didn't get to her on time, she could fall and hit her head on the crystal. With her already present fever, a head injury would only make things worse.
With a sigh, he left to go find Aurora again. She might be able to figure out what exactly the girl needed. An herb, a tea. Something to heal her, or at least help the fever. The white necromancer was already back in her room. Thaddeus knocked lightly before entering the room.

The one time Guinevere wandered away from her brothers she seemed to of gotten lost. Pulling her coat around her body tighter she put the hood over her head as she trudged through the deep pillows of snow with fridge air prickling at her bare skin. Would be her luck to not be able to do anything on her own. As she walked all that came out of her mouth were curious words and groans of frustration. That was till she saw a gate that seemed to be made of crystal. With her jaw dropping she stared in awe over the sight. A strong gust of wind snapped Guinevere's coat open and brought her back to her senses.
Consumed by the thought of a what was on the other side Guinevere made her destination to know. Once again pulling her over sized coat back around her body she headed towards the gate in desperation. Why did it have to be so far? Guinevere didn't know why she was going there or if there was even anything on the other side.
Finally standing before the steps Guinevere slowly walked up them nervous yet overly excited and she was soon bestowed the sight of a beautiful crystal formation? At first she couldn't believe it was real, it was so big... That was till she saw the door and it really confused her. How could anyone live in that, it had to be freezing. Which only made her curiosity grow. The stories she would be able to tell her brothers. Would so top theirs.
Guinevere was somewhat too overjoyed as her fist made contact with the door repeatedly was even humming in anticipation. Didn't even care that she was in a skirt at all and her legs were freezing as the wind whipped around her coat.

Aurora had been in her room. Putting together a pile of.. well to what a normal person would say things. But really Aurora already knew what happened. The more Thaddeus was around her, the more of a connection she could grow with him. Not in a romantic way, though it seemed neither of them would mind. Aurora could feel the loneliness he felt when she first arrived. Aurora went threw the room. Searching for a pen. Finally finding on inside of the desk. She drew a circle with a few runes about it. Then pressed down on the paper. Having the small pile of herbs in the middle make a short popping sound.
Aurora felt Thaddeus coming closer, soon heard a knock. "Come in. Its almost done." She said to him. Probably answering his question. Or a few of them. She put the herbs into a glass of water. Mixing quickly, like the glass had done something wrong to the necromancer. The liquid in the glass turned from a murky brown into a bright blue. She looked up to Thaddeus. Standing from the desk.
"All done. I knew that would happen as soon as I got a better look at her. But even I can't run fast enough. This is what I should have given her in the first place." Aurora explained to the vampire. Not hearing the knocking at the front door.

Thaddeus smiled as he was welcomed into the room with news that something was almost done. He knew it must have been the cure he was looking for. He could feel the connection becoming much, much stronger. Tighter. The white necromancer was holding a glass of first, murky brown something, but it soon turned into a bright and beautiful blue. She mentioned her mistake at not giving the new girl this elixir, but all was well, "She's alright. I think after she has this, her fever will go down." he said in a soft voice.
The knock on the door made Thaddeus turn in it's direction. Another guest. Another girl. Three female guest, all in one day? This had to be some sort of sign. Thaddeus needed a girlfriend. Badly. Not only did he need one for the physical touch he craved, but it would be nice to have someone he could talk to. Someone to court. To be very, very close friends with.
The king sighed and looked to Aurora, "We have another guest. I'm sure by now you would at least know how to get to the young lady's room. Thank you very much for brewing that for her." he stepped closer to the woman who had first come to his doors that day, "I'll be back soon." and he gave her a very... Flirtatious smile.
Thaddeus, once again, let the ice and snow become his attire. He walked gracefully down to the main hall and throne room. Thinking to let his ego run away with him a tad bit and add some flare to himself, just because, he sat himself in the throne. His cape draped over his shoulders and the back of the throne, as well as the arms, he pulled the doors open. Standing, cold and wrapped in a large coat, obviously too big for her, was another beautiful human girl. He smiled. So, I have two humans, one white necromancer, all women, someone is trying to tell me something. he thought to himself.
Rising from the throne with the air and grace of a king, Thaddeus walked down to towards the newcomer, "Welcome, to the Crystal Palace." he said with a smile, extending his pale hand, like he usually did.

With a startled step back as the door opened Guinevere looked at the... Gorgeous? Man. She had never once thought a man could be so pretty... Unconscious of her mouth gaping open slightly in complete disbelief she started at the guy with his wardrobe that sent a shiver down her spin. How could anyone wear ice and snow as clothing. Well he was living in a crystal castle. Letting her hood down Guinevere rubbed her hand through her long hair that was quickly starting to frizz out from the temperature change. Then her jacket slowly slid open around her shoulders the hood pulling it down and she wasn't holding it closed anymore her arms crossed under her chest. She was looking at the King like males hand in skepticism. Was she supposed to accept the very alluring man who could probably swoon her into submission.
Being the blunt person she was, she looked up at him before saying, "Who are you and what are you?" It was kind of rude but she was kind of nervous being around him and he really seemed to good to be true. Being raised by males made her anything but ladylike. He would never get her to curtsy and take his hand with a little giggle or even a flip of her hair.

Aurora noticed his change in direction. Another person perhaps. This would fuel Thaddeus's loneliness for awhile. It kept Aurora busy also. She thrived on helping others. Weather it be a simple cup of tea to warm the belly, or something more complicated to heal the deadliest sickness. Sometimes Aurora would even have to use some of her real power. She looked to Thaddeus as he spoke.
"Yes, it should not be very hard. And there is no need to thank me." Aurora said. about to head out when she noticed the flirtatious smile. Aurora could not help but shoot one back at him. "I am looking forward to it."
She headed down the halls. Once she had not been down, but they still seemed familiar. She walked for a bit, soon finding the room. The door was opened, and Aurora saw the girl sleeping in the bed. Though what Aurora really could see was much different. There was a small demon sitting on her chest. Probably waiting to claim her life. Aurora walked in. Waving her hand at the demon. Much like one would when trying to make a cat move.
"Shoo Shoo." She said to the creature. Knowing the sleeping girl could not see it. Once the creature ran, Aurora got a bit closer. "Hey" She whispered to the girl. Taking a seat at the edge of the bed.

Thaddeus watched as the coat fell open and the hood drop. The girl had a beautiful face. The one you would think to be on a lady of high standing. Her question was very straight forward and to the point. The vampiric king smiled at the young womans attitude and with a soft chuckle, answered her questions, "I am King Thaddeus LeDroll, and I am a vampire. You, milady?" he asked, withdrawing his hand and coming closer.
He circled the girl. She was a feisty one. As he walked around her, he could smell the strong scent of man. Humans. Brothers probably. She did look like a tough girl. Even in her skirts, she held herself like a warrior. And she spoke like a boy. He liked that. That made her different. More flavor to what he had currently in the palace. A white necromancer, a human girl, and a woman warrior. He liked flavor. Though, as of yet, his favorite was Aurora's.

It startled Guinevere when the King came closer, instinctively she took a step back. At least glad her questions were answered. The man was a King and not at all human. Though she did watch him with a new found curiosity. Had never met a vampire before. "Guinevere Moore, a healer, your highness." she laid on the mocking tone as she said highness. Only to stiffen up again as he watched around her. Preferred having him in her life of sight.
When she could make eye contact with she raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Like what you see?" she asked. The lighthearted tone coming to her voice but there was still an edge. Still didn't trust the King even though she felt no threat, at least at the moment. He was so much different from her brothers, it intrigued her attention.

Thaddeus could feel her change in heartbeat as he circled her. She didn't like that. That sort of attitude fit more to a warrior than a healer. But then again, healers couldn't work very well if what they needed to heal wasn't in sight. But she still held herself stiffly, strongly, readily. Like a warrior. A fighter.
She had a beautiful name too. Guinevere. That told him that she was in fact of high standing. Almost royal blood. He wondered how exactly she got away with being what she looked to be. A healer, yes, she could be, but fighting looked to be her stronger point. To Thaddeus anyways. She must have come from a very large family. Mostly brothers. Probably all older than her. Fighting and war ran in the blood of this family, most probably. But then again, all of this was just him stereotyping as he tried to understand and guess as what she was, exactly.
As he came back around she made contact with his eyes of pure ice. She asked if he liked what he saw. Her voice had lightened up quite a lot, but there was still a tint of doubt in her voice. He smiled his small smile that was a mix between a smile and a smirk, his fangs showing just a bit, "Actually, milady, yes. I do." and he came closer to her face. . Thaddeus was still at a respectable distance, but probably closer than what she was normally used to. His voice dripped like hot honey and he looked down at her through long blond eyelashes, "And you?" he could feel her interest. The question now was if she would act on that interest.

Guinevere couldn't grasp how a man could move her so easily. Her brothers wandered her about men like this for reasons they would never explain to her. Only good thing that came to wandering into this King's castle was that she wouldn't have to deal with her mother. Loved her dealer, hated the lectures. Needed to sit a certain way, walk, stand, speak. It was so dull, but she got to learn healing out of it. Really hoped none of her brothers she was traveling with got hurt.
Her thoughts consumed her attention which only meant she was more comfortable. It only lasted a few seconds till Thaddeus' fang shown and he gotten so close to her, after admitting that he liked what he saw. Guinevere could feel her breath catch in her throat as her heart beat flutter, skipping a few beats. A nice rosy tint glistened on her cheeks. Yet not once did she lose eye contact with his icy cool eyes. And his velvet smooth voice slowly put her at ease, bring her back to her senses.
With a coy smirk of her own, she gently placed her pale hand along Thaddeus' elegant jawline, her palm resting upon his cheek. "I would say no, but then I would be lying and that just isn't ladylike." she said with a laugh. His skin was as cool as his eyes, it easy sent shivers through her body. However for some reason the cold sensation of his skin felt quite nice, almost too nice. The King seemed almost too perfect, she wanted to find his flaws. A weakness, a crack in his armor. So Guinevere having the strong pride of hers wasn't going to let this man swoon her, at least not easily. She would put up a fight till the end. Like the warriors blood that flowed through her veins.

The sound of Guinevere's heart skipping a few beats made Thaddeus' smile grow. The fact that she liked him in return. Her warm, wonderful, touch. Her hand was soft as it drifted up to his cheek and his blink was long as he felt the warmth on his face. He loved that feeling almost as much as he loved the cold. Almost. The cold he knew better. The cold he could control with a simple thought. The warmth alway had come from a woman. You can't control those creatures. To even try to do so would only leave you alone, broken, and lost in the end. Thaddeus would know.
Thaddeus watched Guinevere as she watched him. He watched as she studied his face. He knew what she was looking for. The flaw. The physical flaw that showed on the outside. Something that would make him to look maybe just a little human. All humans did this when they got this close. And her being a warrior, searching for the flaw and weakness was second nature to her kind. But she wouldn't find any. His skin was pale and pure like a vampires, with the crystal ice to make it almost shimmer a pale icy-blue. Almost. His face was perfectly symmetrical, as well for everything else on his body. But she might not be seeing any of that for a while yet to come.
Thaddeus decided to make their positions equal and lifted a cold hand up to her face. His finger came up under her chin and lifted her face up to his just a little, "You are an interesting creature, lady Guinevere." he said with a soft smile, a gleam in his icy eyes. He could see that she was holding her emotions back. That she wanted to know more. He liked that.

Guinevere smiled as she watched Thaddeus' reminisce over the warmth of her hand. It was the flaw Guinevere had been looking for. The features on his profile were to point, they were perfect. However the flaw she was looking for was below the surface. Something that would allow her to get close. She was interested in the King and she absolutely loved games. This one was probably her favorite. A scavenger hunt to find the right path were she stood on level ground with him. Guinevere was the typical run of the mill girl, appearances didn't really matter to her. Her life has always been surrounded by males, royalty. People that pride themselves on flawless appearances. But there was always a chip or a crack and that was what laid hidden inside. The part she was most interested in. Thaddeus just had such an inhuman quality to him, that made her desire for it all the stronger.
The touch of his long graceful fingers against her chin, didn't send chills down her spine or cause her heart to flutter. She still unconsciously stopped breathing for a second though. His face had gotten closer to hers. Displaying another smile to stay levelheaded she responded to his question with the ladylike grace she had drilled into her head. "I could say the same to you, Thaddeus." Feeling his name roll off her tongue with easy made the intense look she gave him soften. She would never admit but he was chipping away, slowly, at the barrier she had built around herself for years.

Thaddeus heard her breath stop for a second, but there was no chill or stop in her heartbeat. She was adapting to how he worked here. At least, for now. This was just talk. Just hello and who are you. What would most likely come later would put Thaddeus more in his element. He wondered if she could dance. Ballroom. A little smile wouldn't help her much there. Maybe just a little bit too much for her to concentrate on. Maybe just the little bit of a distraction Thaddeus would need.
The king always jumped right into these things. He loved the thrill of the game. The chase. And Guinevere knew how to play. The question now was who was predator, and who was prey?
Thaddeus smile grew just a tad bit more as she said his name. He liked that sound. But here was not the place for this to continue. He would have to change the playing field. For the both of them. She must have forgotten the frost that nipped at her legs, but it was clear it was there. With a soft chuckle, Thaddeus stood up straight and returned his hand to his side, "Shall we find a fire to thaw your travel-weary body with, milady?" he asked, holding his arm out for her to take.

It had been consuming Guinevere's mind also on who was the one chasing after the other. Was hard to deny that she wasn't trying to get close to Thaddeus. Wouldn't be playing the game if she didn't have an interest. The King himself seemed to of taken a liking to her. Why else would he be so inclined to join her in the little game of predator and prey. At least that is what she conjured up from all his smiles and little statements. Now he seemed to be inviting her into his own abode. With a statement that brought Guinevere back to her senses.
Guinevere had complete forgotten about the frost pricking against her legs. She quickly came up with an excuse if needed. Would say she couldn't tell. They were to numb to feel the cold. When really it only made Guinevere realize how cold she truly was. Her coat was half off and she was in a skirt, making her vulnerable to the cold air. So the fire easily won her over, not Thaddeus, the fire. "That would be grand seeing as you aren't doing the trick, your Highness." she said poking fun at his icy skin. With a much less hesitant and rather hostile reaction Guinevere draped her arm around his, just like how a lady should if she was being escorted. When Guinevere couldn't be the warrior she became the lady, just not a proper one yet.

Thaddeus chuckled at her little joke and showed her to a lounge. This was, as it was still Victorian, was not as vampiric as the one he had taken Aurora in. This one was more red and gold in colors. The chairs were bigger and lower to the ground. Two large swords and a coat of arms hung over the big fireplace. The shield had a symbol of a crown made out of ice on it. Below the crown were three drops of crimson blood. But as your eyes went down from the shield to the mantle, the already lit fireplace woudl catch your eye. It was huge. Easily as bit as half the room, but in the center.
Thaddeus guided Guinevere over to one of the two large red, plush, chairs. He waved his hand and the invisible servants brought him blankets and a warm drink for the lady. For him they brought a glass of bloodwine. He walked behind Guinevere's chair and over to the other chair. As he walked, his outfit changed yet again. Something a little more homey. Again a simpler and traditional vampiric outfit of dark blues with icy accents.
The servants made the blankets seemingly float over and around Guinevere. The warm drink was placed in her hand. The smell of chocolate wafted over to Thaddeus' sensitive nose. He sipped at his wine and watched the girl as she settle down into the chair.
The room he was having made for this one was regal colors. Red, orange, gold, with just a little bit of black. The bed was large with the usual canopy. The place was fit for a princess. Like what she just might be. Her actions in a social situation told the king that she had been taught the lady-like traditions she woudl most likely need. But her stance and words told him what he had learned before.
"So, lady Guinevere," he started, sipping at him wine, "Tell me about yourself and satisfy just a little bit of a lonely king's curiosity." he said in his usual soft tone. His icy eyes watched her curiously. She intrigued him quite a lot. It had been a little while since a woman like her had been here.

Guinevere was stunned in awe when she was led into the splendid lounge she turned her head in all the directions to take in as much of the room as possible. Only to end up starting at the coat of arms relishing in the warmth emitting from the rather astonishing fire place. It made her wonder what the castle was made of. Had a thought it was made of ice but the fireplace completely contradicted it. She couldn't help but look up and over at Thaddeus, he sure knew how to put on a show. A stifled laugh escaped her lips, not wanting to be rude in laughing at him. However she was impressed.
It overwhelmed Guinevere almost. The chair was so lush and before she knew a blanket as soft as silk and pleasingly warm, was laid over her, and a warm drink was placed in her hand. All by some invisible force. Guinevere could not accept they just floated over. Then Thaddeus was dressed completely different... She decided that it was a vampire thing. Either way he still looked good in what he wore, it was befitting of his image. Now sitting in a skirt Guinevere crossed her ankles, sitting with her back straight up, leaning against the chair slightly. Quietly she took a sip of the rich chocolate drink, with more of a liking to tea but kept it herself. The taste brought a smile to her face either way.
Turning her head to look at Thaddeus once again as he talked. The question asked of her only made her laugh a little. She mused over the thought of how much she should tell him. It couldn't hurt any if she gave away who she was. "I live with many brothers 8 to be exact, all very unique, and over bearing. My father is very proud of his sons, they bring him great joy. I'm the love of my mothers life, her only daughter. She tries hard to get me to act properly. I give her credit for trying. I've just spent too much time with my brothers. I was just with them not to long ago after sneaking out on my lesson. We were hunting. I was told I couldn't capture anything and set out on my own with my eldest brothers coat. He was gracious enough to lend it too me as we ran from the castle." Guinevere said with a laugh remembering the maids reactions, as she torn out the up-do she was forced to wear. "Now tell me a little about yourself lonely King Thaddeus. It is only fair." She smiled at him with a playful gleam in her eyes. Getting to know her would come at a cost and learning about him seemed like a fair trade.

Selena did not wake right away. As Aurora expected her not to. With the proper tools, Aurora could just inject the medicine into her veins. Making the process smoother, though she did not want the girl to be angry with her. In the mean time she was watching threw Thaddeus's eyes. Seeing the new girl who had come. Someone of a big family. Looking back Down at Selena, Aurora pressed her fingers to the girl's forehead. Giving her a protection from those sickly demons she had found on her earlier. But also it would let Aurora know when she woke.
Aurora set the drink down on the table next to her. She got up and started to head back towards her room. Though walked past and went towards the library. Walking up to one of the thousands of shelves and blindly picking a book. She then sat down in one of the man plush chairs near a grand window. The window seemed to look over the waste land. Which now was starting to get dark. Daylight never lasted very long here. Well, at least this time of year.
Cracking the old book open, she started to read it. Having no clue what the book was called, or even who wrote it. When you were as old as she, you tended to over look those things. If she was not enjoying the book, Aurora would simply put it back. Though quickly finding out, it was a book about love and war. Something she did read in the past, but it was a good book after all. She then remembered she forgot to tell Thaddeus about Selena's condition.
Still reading, Aurora brought a finger to her left temple. What she wanted to say would echo in his mind. If he wanted to answer, then all he would have to do was think.
"Selena is still sleeping Thaddeus. But she will be alright soon." Aurora said to him. Turning the page.

Thaddeus smiled. He had been right about almost all his assumptions. He liked being right in that regard. Gave a sort of ego boost, if one could understand, "That's quite a family you have there. And quite an adventurous mind as well." he said with a smile
Then Guinevere asked that Thaddeus share some of his story. The king sighed and leaned back into his chair. His eyes turned to stare into the color and feeling quite opposite his own, "I come from a very powerful vampiric and ice elemental family. An only child. This castle and this land was given to me when I turned eighteen. An only child, this palace has been my life. I live for the ice and the brave and foolish hearts that travel here." he said, looking back up at Guinevere as he sipped at his wine. Fair was fair.
Then Aurora's voice echoed in his head. That was a new one. It might have shown on his face for just a second, but it had caught him off guard. Thank you, very much, Aurora. he thought back. Her beautiful voice still rung lightly in his head as his full attention was turned back to Guinevere.

Guinevere's adventurous mind is what kept her getting married when she turned 16 and all the years to come. No one was able to tame the passionate fire that roared in her heart. The fire that stained her hair red, as her mother loved to say. Which only reminded her that even with such a big family, she only had one true brother, the rest were half-brothers. A King couldn't seem to go without having multiple mistresses. She didn't think that of Thaddeus, yet. However she didn't know that there were two other girls in the castle as well. When she would stumble upon that discovery, any progress Thaddeus made to getting close to her, would crumble.
"You've turned out to be a true gentleman Thaddeus and out of sheer curiosity. What do you do when no traveler with brave and foolish heart enters here?" she asked just trying to keep a conversation going. Silence was nice, but extremely awkward. And with silence her mind would wander and it would be rude of her to ignore Thaddeus. Her mind just liked to multitask. Only when something truly got her attention would it calm her mind.

Thaddeus listened as Guinevere spoke and asked her question. He laughed a little on the inside. Gentleman. For now, love. he thought giving her smile. The fire burned brightly and the servant were very busy making sure that Guinevere's room was on the third floor. Away from the other girls. He knew that if she ran into them without him introducing them, things would go very downhill for him.
"What do I do when there's no one here?" he asked, breaking from his thoughts and answering the lady's question. He smiled and looked back at the fireplace. The things he did when no one was in the palace... "I wander about. Check up on my subjects. Sing. Simple things. Time can blur here." he said with an almost dreamy voice. He loved having guests. But having the whole palace to himself was also nice. Very nice. But right now what he craved more than the cold was the warm touch of a woman. He craved it so much. Sixty years with only men. That'll take a tole on a creature like Thaddeus.

Guinevere looked at Thaddeus with wide eyes in complete disbelief. "You can sing?" she said holding her hand to her mouth snickering. Dreamy voice or not she just couldn't believe he could sing. She looked at him with her topaz eyes of reddish-orange and blue brown. They were alight with a new found interest. A playful grin spread across her lips. Her playful mood was taking over, she wanted to have some fun.
Finally warmer Guinevere pulled the blanket from her body and laid it upon the arm of the chair. Then she pulled off her brothers large coat. She wore a simple dress, with a corset like top, even laced in the back. Lucky her she had a sleek, slender body in peak shape. Could thank her brothers for that. The skirt was made of many different fabrics along with the corset, all for showing off her assets. While the colors of greens to golds were meant to compliment her ivory skin and red hair. Only oddity were the furry boots on her feet. But she stretched a little now out of the heavy coat. Only good thing for ladies clothes, they were usually light. At least for her, she didn't need to wear a real corset.

Thaddeus heard the hint of a snicker in her voice and smiled, "Yes." he answered, his eyes again slowly finding their way to her face. He saw the playfulness there and was glad to find it, "Though, how well I sing would be a better question. I seldom sing when I have guests." he said with just a little sigh.
What Guinevere was doing now caught his eye. She removed the warm blanket and heavy coat and Thaddeus finally saw her frame. And a beautiful one it was at that. He could better gauge her age now. With the height he had seen before, the frame and maturity of her face, the frame she had. He thought about it. She would have to be physically older than him. Not that it was problem, merely a statement in his mind. She might have been around her later twenties or early thirties.
((I can't believe I didn't say this before (blah XP) but I'm leaving for a three-week trip tomorrow and I don't know what y'all would like me to do about that so the RP doesn't stall...))
