He smirked and shook his head, noticing her grin. "Not really." he assured her. "Now, that's more like it. You look much better when you're not mopey." he said, glancing up at the stars, they were faint, but still there. They would have to do something about it soon. Before the stars could completely disappear. If that was even possible. "What have you been up to?"

"Oh?" Still smiling slightly, she continued to watch the sky. Though dimmed slightly with his question. "Sleeping, dreaming...I can't help but do so when my old wounds ache," she replied after a moment, remembering the whole reason why she had been made part of the sky. Her arm still bore a scar from Orion's sword, though it was mostly covered with her arm decorations. "Well...I suppose that means I'm good and rested then..."

He gave a small nod. "True Well, I suppose it's a good thing you are well rested. We will need all that energy to get the humans to believe in us again." he muttered. He knew that everyone of the zodiac had a past full of some sort of peril or sacrifice. His way of becoming a zodiac was not as bad as hers, or maybe some of the others, he didn't remember. The only good thing of becoming one was that he became immortal, and didn't have to serve the gods their drinks or be around them so much.

"A very good point. Though I wonder if it would be of any help," she murmured out loud, still fixedly staring at the sky. How much time would pass before the others would arrive, if they even payed head to the call. There was no doubt they had heard it, seeing as she could even in her deep slumber, but whether or not they would pay attention to it was up to them.

He thought about it for a moment, glancing down at the water to watch the humans. Giving a small frown he shook his head. "Maybe not right away." These type of things, to him, took time to grow. "We must take small steps. But in due time, it will hopefully return to the way things were." he said, giving a small nod.

Following his gaze to the water, she resisted the urge to sigh at his comment, wishing that what he had said was true. "I don't believe that thing can go back to those times. To much progress has been made by the mortals...However, perhaps getting them to believe in us once again will be enough..."

He gave a short nod once again. "I suppose you're right. The trick will be to make them believe in us again." he said. Humans nowadays were so close minded, it irked him. There was so much more than what they saw, and they threw it all away like it was just an old rag. No wonder I chose not to come down there anymore.

Lyra smiled slightly at seeing the two and turned, her bare feet making no sound on the ground. She wouldnt go far, but she was willing to give them a few moments alone. Her silver eyes glowed eerily in the dim light, a stark contrast to her auburn curls and pale features. She shifted her bow and arrows and wondered again where Chiron was. She was so used to him being by her side and then suddenly he wasnt. It was just so...odd.

Draco craned his neck up shaking fern and vine from his head and shoulders. There were others here now after all these centuries. They must be waking now. I was a bit late for them though. Draco had been awake all this time alone. Most people didn't know he lay here even if he was one of the bigger constellations, his scales matched the very stars they looked to. His was not the brightest as there were those who worship the Ursa still. But he was still there for them to see. Sitting up to his full height he ignored the others in the room as he stretched his massive wings over their heads.
"So...you have finally appeared..." His voice hisses over them even though his dragons mouth did not move. "It has been some time since the Zodiac was together. I wonder what it is you ponder about for centuries at a time." His voice rolls over the room in a deep rumble as he lowers his head to greet them.
~~~~~~~~~
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow..." Dasha mutters pulling a pin from her bottom lip. That was the last time she put needles in her mouth for a bridal dress fitting. The irate house wife had kicked her in the face with her oh so expensive heels then shouted at her for bleeding on them. That was how she lost her client. She had hauled off and told the woman to change and leave and she did. With a huff and a raise of her skirts she took off towards the changing room, came out fuming and threw the 46 hour, $30,000 dress on the floor and stomped out of the bridal shop.
Dasha sighed applying the ointment to her wounds. It was somewhere around 10:30pm she supposed she could close the shop a bit early. Normally she kept it open for those last minute changes but today hadn't been very good so she pulled down the shades in the large front store window and over the door to the shop after locking it. She'd leave all the money counting and stuff for tomorrow, right now she had to take care of the dress that almost got ruined. Luckily the angry woman had avoided stepping on it. At least she knew quality when she saw it. Shaking her head she scooped up the dress on her way to the back room where the stairs to her apartment were. Heading up she plopped the gown on the end of her couch and moved to make a cup of coffee. It was going to be another all nighter. Oh boy. If she didn't get some sleep soon she'd just pass out sooner or later.
While the coffee brewed she sat in the little nook near the kitchen window. Out side the stars shined brightly and proudly. She gazed at them in wonder every time she saw them. They were marvelous things to watch. They twinkled and shined with s glow that was all their own. One of these days Dasha would make a dress like that. She wanted to take star light and put it into one of her creations something that would be the envy of any designer... But no one would ever wear such an elegant piece. Not properly anyway. The person wearing it would just become its decoration. She didn't want that. Sighing heavily she makes her quick cup of coffee and moves back to the window to star gaze a bit longer.
She turned slowly, the presence of Draco stealing over her. "Ah...there he is." She had wondered if he had been awake the whole time. She debated over whether or not to go back and decided it wasnt her place. She had stayed awake to look over Earth for the Zodiac, but now that they were waking it was no longer her job. She wasnt even a Zodiac in the first place. Not really. It was Chiron who was, but he wasnt here...So she should go back to represent him. She didnt want him to have a bad name with the Zodiac. Sighing she ran a hand through her tangled curls and walked back to where they all were.
Ganymedes glanced over and smiled a little. "Hello. It has been a while, I agree.. But the others have not yet appeared." he said, almost frowning. He did hope they would be okay. Or maybe they had not gotten the memo. He was not sure how long they could wait, since this was an urgent matter. He looked over at Lyra, who had moved away for some reason. "Why don't you sit with us?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"She does ponder... Ganymedes... As have you all. I would say good morrow but that...would be an inaccurate statement..." His voice rumbled with a pause every so often. It had been a while since he had the will to speak to any one. Even though Lyra had been awake all this time he had not moved. Not that he could see any of them. His massive head bent down to Lyra. "It had been too long...Mistress Lrya...Lord Ganymedes...Mistress Galaya." he nudged his snout at the hand laying at her side.
Ganymedes nodded in return. "Hopefully, it won't be as long the next time." he said, looking down into the pool. "At least. I'd rather we just get together and discuss other matters. Not like this one." he said, almost sighing. It was sad that this was what it took to get everyone together..
((Thank you. Took me forever to find one for Draco. There aren't to many renderings of the dragon constellation. :( ))
The dragon raised his head back to full height again sitting back on its hunches. It was too tall some days. That was why he had been laying down for all those years. When no one noticed him he just lay there out of boredom there was not much else to do. The pool did not interest him, he could see the world through his closed eyes just fine as it were. Looking into the pool would do him no good if his eyes were closed shut.
"Yes..I would have to agree...Should we begin this discussion...The others will be slow to wake ...this is apparent....We can fill them in when they have all arrived."
Lyra raised an eyebrow at Draco and smiled slightly as she walked over to sit on the ground by the pool. She crossed her bare legs from where her dress did not cover and rested her elbows on her knees. "So. Where to begin?"
Draco let out a low rumbling breath. "You are worried... I can feel it...more them a century has passed...since the belief in the zodiac was prominent." He shifted his wings to lay against his back. "I am to assume...that you would have this faith revived.... Would you mean to discuss...how this will be accomplished...?" A few leaves and vines fell from his back as his wings curled around his shoulders. "I am in no hurry...but your faces tell me other wise...There has been little care for an old dragon...and even so I do not wish to reinstate myself..." His head shifted to drop a stone from his head. Had he really been laying that long? He felt stiff and disjointed in areas he'd rather not mention and he found he could not open his eyes if he wanted to, nor his mouth.
"Maybe we should try and pick some humans, see what they think about the zodiac. Try to get them to believe, and then take it from there?" he offered, glancing up at the old dragon. He was a little worried, since he did not seem to be in the best of shapes at the moment. Well, it'd be hard to be good if you haven't moved in so long a time.
Draco nods his head losing more vines. "That...if an excellent suggestion...I agree with it... I bet there are still... some humans who believe...if only a little." Another low rumble left his chest as he shift to the right a bit. "The...only question being is...would you know where to start?" He tilted his head to the side but nothing fell.
Satisfied he next began to move his tail which was still curled in vines. He pulled heavily on the plants until the snapped and he could lift his rear appendage again. "In some countries... star gazing is very popular...But if that were the solution...we would not have a problem...Has any one looked into the stars recently...We are amassed by Ursa who still in these days has followers...They are few and far between." He turned his head towards Ganymedes, "If there has been anyone to gaze longingly into the stars...it would be a good start...Where would you begin...?"
Listening to the suggestion, Galaya pondered about it, resting her head on her hand even as she turned her concerned and curious crimson gaze to watch Draco. "Perhaps...we could find out exactly how much of our legacies have survived...and if there are any mortals who study them. Though, most likely we would be treated as myths by now..." Galaya commented after a moment, more to herself than anything. "Perhaps we should look at some academies?"
Ganymedes almost smirked but nodded. "We might not be able to go as ourselves to the human world. We will have to interact, to get to know which people to select. I have not studied them from the pool, so I don't know who believes. Academies are full of people though." he said, almost thinking about it. They would have to somehow disguise themselves, different names for those who had, extremely obvious ones. Like his. And then there was Hera. He was secretly glad she hadn't showed up yet. The two of them did not get along at all.
Draco nodded as well. "It would be a good idea...But I suggest you all not start in one place...People in this century are more suspicious of new people...Some things have recently happened....and wars are being fought... The earth herself is revolting against them. There have been several recent natural disasters to happen...with in the last year or so." he cautioned, "You should chose wisely." His body shimmers with star light as he becomes less solid leaving likes of stars where mass had been and more foliage tumbled to the ground.
