I've looked at Bobobie before. They have nice dolls :) But I'm still poooooor as balls and can't afford to drop that much cheddar at one time :(

...I don't have one... I'd never seen/heard of them really until I saw this thread, so I went to investigate. @__@ They're so pretty. I have a small collection of dolls and I think I might just have to add a Monster High doll to that collection. >.> Even though my family will think I'm a freak.

I love dolls, and the dolls I have are extremely expensive. I have a ball jointed doll (BJD) from Korea, three American Girl Dolls and a porcelain doll from my great Aunt. :'3 A MH doll would probably be the cheapest doll I'd add to my collection... but I'm not sure which one I'd get...

Now that I look... it's a throw up between Ghoulia Yelps, Lagoona Blue and Frankie Stein... @__@

I don't collect them, but I do really like them. I think they're some of the most creative dolls to come out in years.

I have a couple of Blythes, and quite a few people on the Blythe forums I visit are going crazy for MH dolls. They really do have that "it factor" that appeals to collectors, not just children. :)

Yeah, I'm surprised they're so popular with older collectors, too. I see galleries of them all over. When I search Ebay, even, there's all sorts of listings for custom made clothes for them and things like that. People really seem to like them.

I have other dolls, too, but this is the first time I've really set out on a mission to collect them. Even my boyfriend is helping. For my birthday, which is next week, he got me another one :) Actually, he got me a special 3-pack, which I love him for :heart: I have a porcelain doll that I won a few years ago, 4 or 5 Queen Amidala dolls from Star Wars, and lots of Disney Princesses, and a few Japanese dolls that I found at flea markets. All of my dolls are relatively inexpensive, with the exception of the two collector dolls of Queen Amidala. I don't know exactly how much they cost though, they were gifts.

My favorite used to be Draculaura, but now I see that there are so many others I didn't know of!

Now I think it might be Toralei Stripe. I think I dress most like her. ^^

For Christmas my boyfriends mom bought me the 'Gloom Beach' Draculaura and Cleo de Nile! I was so happy! They're sitting on my bookshelf right now ^.^

Oo, cool :D I had the GB Draculaura, but I sold her. I have Cleo, too, but I'm gonna give her to my boyfriend's sister. The Gloom Beach Ghoulia only comes in a big pack, so when I get that one, I'll give her the extras

As much as I'd like to get a few my mother would probibly hate me for buying more dolls, although she would probibly prefer them to the creepy-ass Little Apple Dolls and Living Dead Dolls I have.

I'm going to wait a couple more paychecks, then buy a whole bunch of them ^.^

Him - My mom had a problem at first, too :\ She was okay with it after a while, as long as I don't blow money on them. She even helps me find them. She bought me a Holt Hyde doll a while ago and this passed September, she bought me a double pack for my birthday :D The way I (and a Walmart cashier lol) see it, if collecting dolls is the worst thing you do, then you're still okay lol

Somehow...my sister's collection has started to rub off on me. I have 6 of them. (I got the gloom beach 5 doll set and Operetta) I plan on painting them to look like different characters. I've never tried anything like it before so I've been reading tons of tutorials. Also taking notes on the artist's I like. I want to have a different look to set myself apart from them. I'm even planing out an OC. I'm just so scared to do the first bit of painting though.

Who knows maybe one day I'll be a famous customiser like some o the other OOAK doll makers.

I've just found a Cupid one on eBay but she's got two days left and already out of my price range and repainted/customized ones.

Well since I already have a Draculaura and a Cleo, I'm going to focus on finding Clawdeen, Deuce, Lagoona, Operetta, Nefera and Abbey. I really don't care which collections they're from.

Good luck, Cody :D The best place to find them is Walmart and Target. Toys R Us always has a decent stock of them, but they charge 5-10 dollars more per doll and I don't really think it's worth it :\

Him- I've been trying to find a Cupid for a while, but after paying 30 dollars for a Lagoona, I swore I would never pay more than retail for a doll. I just wait patiently and eventually, I find them in the store.

Because I can't afford a Monster High doll I'm very tempted to get My Little Pony and give it a Monster High makeover.
