"Because if the other gangs hurt her I'm dead. And never mind that it's just a bit warm in the hideout." he said as walks into the kitchen to get some drinks. He brought them up and knocked on her door. "It's me, I have a drink for you."

Emma heard a knocked on her door. Emma went to the door and she forgot she was in her tank top and shorts she was trying to rest. Emma opened the door and saw Matt and smiled a bit "thank you Matt you can come in?" Emma took the drink and went to sit on the bed and drinks the drink.

He blushes and smiles sitting on the chair by the door closing the door. "Were you resting?" he asked her. "If you want I can leave you alone."

Emma looked at him and saw he was blushing. Emma got up and then looked at Matt and she smiled at him "it is alright matty I am working on stuff on what color should i paint the walls." Emma looks at him and then went to her desk and looks at the computer and looks at him. "Matty you were blushing."

He hid his face slightly and smiled. "Your absolutely terrifying to me is all. What color were you thinking?" he asked curiously. He couldn't help but smile kindly at her and notice that she was just gorgous. He looked around the room, it was a nuetral white color he never really had the energy or time to pant this room. He actually had one room that was painted as a mural, that was his room.

Emma looked at him and said "I was thinking black with hot pink or black with purple but it is so hard been wearing black since i was 9 i guess i'm used to it by now." Emma looked at him and said "I thought you were scary looking before but now your like me." Emma looked at him and smiled and then looked at the computer and loves the colors.

"How so." He asked curiously. He looked around and thought of how cute she was especially here and now.

Emma shook her head and said "oh never mind its not important now how ever there is something i want to see if you let me." Emma got up and then went to him and took his hand and said "please will you take me to see the new Nyte Blayde movie." Emma wanted to see it bad.

He was a little shocked when she grabbed his hand blushing a little bit. "Only if you promise to stay with me and not pull any funny business." He said smiling kindly. "If you try to run or anything like that I'll take you right back here. I am responsible for keeping you alive after all. Can you promise me that you will stay with me and not try to run so we can enjoy the movie?"

Emma nodded and then said "then can we go shopping I know it is bad but I kinda don't have clothes anymore since your guards kidnap me so I'm out of clothes." Emma giggled of course and there was a shop she wanted to go it was a goth store she likes a lot.

"If you behave then yes we can do that." He said. "I'll get my car ready, we can go shopping first then see the movie." He said. He liked seeing her happy. "If I tell you to do something because a rival gang sees us please do me a favor and do what I tell you. Though they should be too busy at this point."

Emma looked at him and nodded at him and she smiled at him Emma went to the bathroom to get ready. One of the gang came in and said "Sir are you about this I know she is the daughter of the saints and she is not like them but are you sure you are not going on a date with her?" The gang looked at him as well they know she is like Matt but does he want her.

He looked at him and shook his head. "I'm sure that this is just me keeping her alive. That's all. I figure if I do that then her father will be indebted to do me a favor. I'm looking out for the gang." He knew that wasn't the whole truth but the gang couldn't tell that it wasn't.

Emma was in her goth clothes and she good in it and then she came out and said "alright Matt I'm ready." Emma looked dark but she was cute like it and then the gangs looked at her and smiled and one of came over and said "that is cute Miss Emma." He kissed her hand and let it go and Emma blushed a bit and then looked at Matt.

Matt looked at him. "Go get my car ready and out front." He looked a bit lost in thought but otherwise calm. He blushed seeing her. "Very nice Emma." He said. "I'm ready too, once this fool gets my car." He would have to hid his frustration at his gang member from her.

The gang nodded and then went to get the car. Emma looked at him and smiled and then on to his arm and looks at him and said "Matt are you alright you look mad?" Emma looked at him and she was close to him.

He looked away but couldn't hide the blush. "Yeah fine. My gang members are annoying me. They think I want you to be with me....and what he just did. " he stopped talking and hugged her. To be honest I do like you but I can't let that stop me from concentrating on keeping you alive so your father owes me a favor. Any thing to help my gang. We aren't really fighters. We're more hackers so we are valuable in that way but we are almost useless in fights so that's where the favor comes in. But anyway they think I'm thinking this is a date. But I'm not I'm helping you feel welcome is all. I want to be your friend." He let go and blushed walking with her out to the car then after he helped her in and got in himself he started the car and started towards the store she was talking about. He knew it well.

Emma looked at him and she blushed a bit and then he hugged her and then knows he is only doing this cause of her father and was sad a bit and knows they are alike but she was starting to have feelings for him. Emma got in the car and then got out her phone and put on some goth music to calm her down she didn't even talk to Matt and she looked at the window a lot and was thinking about her mother a lot and her father. Emma didn't even look at Matt for a long while.

Matt looked over at her. "Please don't be mad at me. I can't stand being so alone anymore. I did say that I like you. But as leader of my gang they must come first. Please look at me." He didn't like how she was upset. "I'm doing this for your company more then for any favor from your father. I need a friend. My gang doesn't understand who I really am, I want you to."

Emma looked at him and then stopped listening to her music and said "it should be like what you want not what anyone else want Matt." Emma then looked away from him and then saw the store and got out of the car and followed him in the store and saw all kind of goth stuff and she was happy.

He just quietly followed her and looked around the store he had shopped here many times before. He smiled a little seeing her happy again. "Your still mad at me aren't you?..." He asked. It was what he got when he actually tried being social.

Emma looked around and then sigh and then said "I'm not mad I'm hurt Matt." Emma said and picked a lace short skirt and a lace top and went into the changing room and came back out in her lace outfit and with gothic boots on and she looked cute.

He sighed and let her go into the changing room sitting on the bench outside. He would have to make this up to her. He didn't want to lose his chance at a real friend.

Emma was done and went to Matt and force a smile at her face and then goth guys were hitting on her and Emma sigh and then one of them tried to do to her and whisper to him "leave him and come with us." One of them grabbed her wrist.

Matt saw this and tassed him after moving her from him. "Leave the lady alone. " he put his taser away and looked to her. "You okay?" He asked her. "I know I hurt you. How about I take you out to eat after the movie, anywhere you want to go." He said. "Please forgive my foolish comment earlier. I'll be more open with you." He looked to the goth guys. "You guys better leave. Do you realize who I am?" And then two of his members showed up one at each side. "You don't want to mess with these guys."
