Well, I order freebies all the time. Nothing bad happens. The worst thing that happens is that sometimes they never come.

I watched three movies this evening: The Secret of the Magical Gourd, Max Payne, and Babylon A.D.
All very different, but interesting in their own way...

All I've watched is Repo! xD Well we went and saw Watchmen the other night and it was fantastic.
Though Repo! some how keeps making it into the PS2 to replay. xD
Thanks to that movie I'm re-obsessed with Sarah Brightman. T_T

I am reading though! xD I made it to the third book in the Rachel Morgan series.

@killa - we have watched it a ridiculous amount of times.
we - dani (dream) and i - can sing along with most of the songs fairly well.
not to mention we do the graverobber handwave in 21st century cure at "cure" in exact timing.
i usually end up not finishing the wave and laughing my face off. XD

@kat - i still need to read almost prefect, then get that one. @_@
i mean. seriously.
when is torchwood not on crack?
second reality, whatever. i'll bet it was based off of second life. XD
yaaaay i saw that two(?) new ones were coming out in may.
i really want to read classic super hero comics like x-men and iron man and everything. but i would prefer to start at the (out of print) beginning and they keep going on and on without any end in sight. (like this manga i love that started in the 70s and only 30-something volumes are out and it's still being printed)
bwahaha, plots being easier and less stress-inducing for marvel-verse characters, what?

@cherry - free books! but i usually just stay away from those kinds. (non-fiction. XD)

@dani - stop eating my books. i want to read them later. i don't want to have to reconstruct them from pulp. >:[
wheeee watchmen~
.... giggle.
i sorry for making you crave the sexy old woman again. XD <3

@shadow - omg. lots of movies.
what's the magical gourd one? :0
we have watched repo! twice this evening. XD

ps.
dani is not kidding.
she was reading one book and the next day she was starting on the next one.
and these are kim harrison books, not little popcorns like manga.
speaking of, she read one of my 7-book manhwa series in about 3-4 hours. @______@;;

@leenie: Manwha's are short. xD The entire series only averaged about 1,300 pages. With pictures thats no big deal.
Sarah Brightman is so amazingly pretty, she's gotten better with age. I liked her a lot when I first saw and heard her seven years ago but now... Thanks.

i guess it must be some strange sort of reading magic you have. 8D
i can't read 50 kids books in three hours, i'd go mad.
tweeheehee~
well. repo! got me addicted to sarah as well, so no complaining.

ps.
DANI JUST TICKLED ME AND IT TICKLED.

I can't get anything free because I'm not a US resident. *sniff*

Tireth: The list of Torchwood novels on wikipedia is surprisingly helpful. I didn't realise there were books coming out in October as well or more radio dramas.

When I was on holiday last year I stole my dad's copy of Essential Uncanny X-Men (issues #1-24) and it is pretty funny. Everyone spends the first issue trying to chat up/instantly falling in love with Marvel Girl.

You are all book people up in here. Probably. One would think. Anyway, book people, YOU MUST MUST MUST read Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. <3 It's one of the most fantastic books I have ever read. <3 *is only half way through it and has already declared it so*

Oooo, that title alone sounds very interesting! Does it dip alot into Greek mythology?

I'm still reading the Merlin book, but I got some new books today in the mail, and I keep looking at them...I might start reading one of them and go back to the Merlin book. One of them is "Beastly" by Alex Flinn, which is a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast from the Beast's perspective, another is Seven Towers by Patricia Wrede, and the third and most tempting is "The Stepsister Scheme" by Jim C. Hines. It is an "after the ever after" tale about Cinderella.

I have lost the want to read books. I've been such a bum about it. I go to Barnes and Noble, buy a crap ton of books...and then never read them. I think I need someone to kick me! Maybe I just read way too many books as a young child; so now I'm sort of tired of reading? That's a lame excuse...:XD

Why are you wearing two pairs!? :illgetu:

Well it's not so much fun when the reading your doing is research. It's not very enjoyable, heh. Unless it's about history or science. I love reading history and science. :)

@kitami - now i am hungry again.
but for corned beef. (YAY IRISH HOLIDAY.)

@cherry - well. it's still something i don't like reading. XDDD
i probably have less than 25 realistic fiction books. well, aside from my dear america and royal diaries books. o_o;;
but i'm not sure because they are most of the ones i haven't read yet. PROCRASTINATION POWER AT MAXIMUM. |D
it's mostly those ordinary life novels that i loathe (oh yes, it's that strong) books where something happens are okay. like born to rock by gordon korman. no magic, no aliens, no weird shit going on, just this rock star who could be his dad. completely realistic, in the "it could technically be able to happen in the human world" stance. and i LOVED IT TO DEATH because it had an interesting and engaging plot.
plus every mention of the "young republicans" make me crack into hysteric laughter. 8D

@kat - DDDD: sniffle.
i am thoroughly amused that only number ten is written by a woman. XD
but goodness, i may need to get some of the audiobooks. definitely another life. i mean. barrowman. <3
and sin eaters once it comes out. because. ianto. <3333 ::fangirlfaint::
ahahaha marvel girl. that's a little sad.

@shadow - OMG. dani was reading that beastly book. 8D
i do believe you love rewritten fairy tales. XD

@jennifer - i... do the same thing. we need to figure out some way to get more geared into reading more. ;_;

@platy - ahhhh college. D:
ewwwww research. xp
also
CONGRATULATIONS. on, you know, becoming an actual mod. :3

ps.
EEEEK. russell brand's autobio, my booky wook, is finally out in the us. (though i still prefer the original uk cover)
i should go get that and marilyn manson's autobio. i've been wanting to get the both of them just because of amusements had on graham norton episodes. XD

pps.
dani dyed my hair again finally last night and it was all dried this morning.
apparently, it looks like a leprechaun threw up on my head. ;_;
greens and blues, plus my original auburn and the bleached goldenness.
more like a leprechaun got drunk, had dirty sex with a mermyd, and threw up sea water and algae into his gold pot. :[
ACTUALLY IT TOTALLY LOOKS LIKE MERMYD HAIR SINCE I BRAIDED IT AND NOW IT'S ALL WAVY AND FLUFFY AND SQUEE.
giggle.

Tireth: I have John Barrowman's autobiography out from the library but I'm going to have to rush through everything. I haven't finished Glasshouse yet. >.<

+ If you like your hair then it's fine. =P

Iltu: I think my mum has that Dean Koontz book, I'll have to steal it some time.

Gosh, I just realized how much I want to read the Grimm Fairy Tales.
I think I'll search my local library for them...

-edit-
Oops, forgot to ask. Has anyone read any of the Brothers' Grimm Fairy Tales?

I mailed my books home in a box from Texas because they would have made my suitcase to heavy. I kind of want them now... but they won't come in till Thursday... T_T

@Dream_and_Die: Aww, is there a library around you could borrow a book from to tide you over with?
