erik looked to the rope, then the tub.
"tie it to the tub, try and make the weight even so it won't topple while it's being lifted..."
checking the ladder again.

Jack nodded, trying to balance the weight properly in the first tub.

Andres looked towards Jack and Eric. "Sorry about that, I'll help you out Eric" Andres made his way towards Eric.

erik helped jack balance the ropes, then looked to the roof.
"hm... alright..."
taking the other end of the rope.

"So, should I stay down here to help balance the tub?" Jack looked at the rope and tub, then to the ladder.

erik nodded.
"yea. we'll empty it up top, and send it back down. just refill it and make sure the rope's secure, then send it back up."
at this, he began to climb the ladder, holding the rope.

Andres looked at the rope. "Well I'll do whatever you need me to do," said Andres fiddling with his fingers.

Jack nodded to Andres. "I think you should go on the roof with Erik." She glanced over to Erik, seeing if he agreed. "You could help him unload stuff, and pull it up after I reload it."

Andres gave a quick smile and said, "Okay, just give me a sec."

erik nodded.
"come on up."
giving a chuckle and continuing to climb to the top.

Jack paced around the foot of the ladder, waiting for Erik and Andres to get to the roof. She lit up a cigarette, and took a long drag, double checking the balance and weight of the tub.

Andres giggled in response to Eric's chuckle and made his way to his location. "It's still hard to believe all of this is happening.." said Andres helping out Eric.

erik laid his jacket on the ledge below the rope, as to not rub the rope to break, putting his foot on the ledge and handing the back end of the rope to andres.
"ok, pulling!"
starting to pull.
"well, it is happening. we'll just have to outlast it, or learn to fight it."
nodding surely as he pulled.

Jack kept the tub steady as best she could, guiding it part-way up the ladder to the roof.

Posting as: GOD!!! The tub made it without incident to the roof.

Andres planted his feet firmly and pulled the rope. "I guess all we can do is try and survive," said Andres with a look of determination.

erik pulled the tub to the roof and emptied it.
"we'll live."
he smiled to andres.
"have faith."
then continued to empty the tub, before lowering it back down to the ground.

Eric's words and smile gave Andres a sense of security and hope. "You're right. I won't give up no matter what," said Andres smiling.

Jack grabbed the edge of the tub as it came down, lowering it safely back to the ground. She re-loaded it quickly, trying to keep it's balance intact. "Hey, how should I send up the other tubs? We've got more of them"

erik nodded.
"in the last load we'll bring them up inside this one."
waiting till the tub was filled, then pulling again.
"up and up."
making sure he was firmly planted first.

Posting as: GOD!!! This time the tub tipped to one side, spilling a few things, but everything was alright, and Jack was able to keep it steady the rest of the way up.

erik grumbled as a few things fell, then pulled the things up, setting them on the roof and lowering it again.
"how many more loads?"
tilting his head.

Jack looked around her at the stuff. "Probably 2 more, and then the load with the other tubs." She gathered up the things that had fallen and put them with the rest of the stuff. "At least nothing broke."

erik nodded and lowered the tub again, being careful to keep the jacket in place, his foot securely on the ledge.
"alright. well, let's load up..."
waiting.

Jack caught the edge of the tub, bringing it the rest of the way down. She swiftly, but carefully, loaded more of the supplies into the tub, then put one foot on the bottom rung of the ladder, holding the tub steady, she tossed away her cigarette and reached for the rung just above her head.

erik slowly started pulling up again, trying to stay as steady as he could and bringing the tub back up top.
