Because he's a friend of the person who came in here with the intention to cause trouble. That person is a troll and should be dealt with by moderators, but they never will be.

I don't want to take a make-up exam tomorrow...and then go back to school the next day. Jeez. This was not long enough of a break for me to actually want structure again. It's the curse of new toys, I'm sure.

It's a manga, anime, and a movie.

Aw that sucks. Hope you can find some for cheap. I might actually be willing to sell mine... I'll probably regret it later, but I might. :3

Death Note is a manga about this guy who finds this Death Note dropped by a god of death, or Shinigami. If a human takes this note he or she can write people's names in it and they will die. Light Yamagi takes the Death Note and starts killing criminals, his intentions are to make the world a better place by ridding it of all the evils and then become the god of the world. But then slowly the power corrupts him and crap and it's really interesting and complicated. xD

It was on for like, 2 days. C:

Ah! Looked it up on wiki. Looks interesting - something I'd have to check out when the kid is asleep though.

Speaking of which, I'm not looking forward to taking her back to school tomorrow. Enjoyed the time with her this break :(

I saw the movie once. Well, half the movie. The dude who played Light was wrong. He looked way wrong and his face was too chubby and his hair was too dark. D<
But I prefer L. He's awesome.
But I haven't gotten to the part where he dies yet. I got the DVDs and mangas a few days ago and have been watching them but know he dies anyway. xD

Eh. My friend and I almost went to see it in theaters, but in the end I just didn't want to see it enough to bother going. He didn't go either. I've seen clips of it on youtube. It looks stupid, in my opinion.

Didn't they make an anime movie to go along with the anime? I heard they did...

I wasn't sure about Death Note being a movie, but I know it's a manga... :drool:
