"Well, if it's not so bad, why do you feel so nervous?" she asked without thinking much about it, she realized at once that her mouth was saying things before she could stop them and was a little overwhelmed, he should shield himself better, so she didn't do it by accident, she didn't want to know the private things of his life like that. "Actually, are we seriously allergic to the Sun, and can we go to my place, I guess I'll stay here, because my place is a bit um... well. Nevermind, can we go?" something had made her stop when she was going to tell him about her job, like she didn't want to disappoint him or maybe it was something else. She didn't know, but she couldn't shake the feeling.

Victor very nearly spit out the drink of water that he'd taken-- He'd nearly forgotten that he could read her emotions so easily. Sighing, he stood, walked over to the sink and put his glass in it upside-down. "I'm not sure. I suppose I wasn't sure of how you'd react," he replied with a casual shrug before a sly grin curled up his lips. "No, we're not allergic to the sun, or garlic, or silver for that matter... Yes, we can go." Then pausing where he stood, he looked over at her, "What were you going to say?"

"What are we allergic to, and it's nothing... you'll see when we get there. It's easier seen than described." she said as she watched him, folding her hands beneath her chin and resting on them. She smiled easily enough and could only furrow her brows. Wait, vampires had powers, was this one of hers? Why had she just thought about that? "Do vampires have unique powers, as in individually?" she questioned as she stood and walked over to him, in closer proximity, he was pretty cute, not her type but cute. And for some odd reason her instincts said that he was special, not how he was but just that he was, and that slightly disturbed her. But she supposed that everything could not go her way, could it?

"Not much that affects us, really. Though, I do have to say, all that talk about vampires and holy water is kind of true," he replied casually, hopping up to sit on the counter. "Doesn't kill us, mind you. Just hurts a bit," he added thoughtfully. He was more distracted with the idea of something being up with where she lived, and what that may be, but he didn't bother to ask again. "Yes!" he trilled, somewhat cheerful, happy that something positive was finally brought up. "Varies from person to person, but there are a few things that we all have, and a few things we all gain," he stated, vague for now. "Anyways," he remembered that they were going to leave, "Shall we?" he asked, standing once more questioningly.

[ Sorry for the wait, I thought I'd replied already... ]

"I think that you're not telling me everything Vince... I can feel your emotions remember?" she said softly, giving him a cross look as she folded her arms across her chest and leaned back, watching him intently, giving the look as though she wasn't playful nor to be trifled with, and she wasn't. She was going to take him into her one sanctuary which was tainted by the filth around it. She could however just leave him and go back by herself. She did have loose ends to tie up and wasn't much up for this if he couldn't tell her the whole truth, this may have been a creation/creator relationship but she wasn't to be fooled about anything.

His eyes widened a bit at her reply, definitely still getting used to her uncanny ability to tell his emotions to the T. His lips parted to let a soft sigh escape and he smiled genuinely, "I'm just trying to be cautious with you, that is all." Recalling her earlier trouble with accepting everything, and knowing that there was still much to tell her, worried him greatly. That did not mean he wasn't open to discussion, however; he would just have to break things to her gently if she so demanded to know such information. Chuckling softly, his fingers ran through the soft, unruly hair at the back of his head, "I admit, I was being vague on purpose, yes... I don't want to frighten you. I'd prefer it if you allowed me to tell you these things over time instead of driving you away from me from being cautious."

Sitting down upon the table once more nevertheless, he further explained what she had asked about earlier, "Heightened senses, more relentless adrenaline rushes, rather horrid food aggression problems- that can be worked out, of course-, no signs of aging, as you've probably heard, no ability to breed, and such..." he gestured with one of his arms that there were more, "Some come with time, and some aren't burdened with a few of these. It all does depend on the person, and who they were as a human." He looked her straight in the face as he explained it this time, facial expression the epitome of worry, not wishing to scare her away nor for her to think that there was something further she simply had to know.

She gave a single, gentle and luminous smile. "Was that so hard?" she giggled softly and then swept off to the bathroom, wanting to shower before she left. She felt a bit dirty especially after last night, and needed to make sure that she felt alright. Else she wouldn't have the courage to bring him to her place. She was in truth, quite embarrassed about him seeing it; because he was male. She never let any male that wasn't a client in there, and that was only because she had to. But then again she supposed she could change that, matter of face, she would have to change that. Else she'd probably be discovered, because humans aged, or looked older, and if she didn't even as a dancer, it might rouse suspicions.

His eyes widened the slightest bit in surprise with her easy acceptance of this, then relaxed upon the sight of her smile. Something in his mind instantly reigned in his thoughts and calmed him as she did-- leaving him in a bit of awe. Hesitant for loss of words, he nodded simply, being truthful "No." Then watching her walk out, he leaned back in his chair thoughtfully, his hands casually folding behind his head. Thoughts milled around his brain curiously, most surrounding her and how her smile- that beautiful, alluring smile- had calmed him so quickly and thoroughly. He could even feel the built-up strain in his muscles relax as his stress melted drastically.

When she stepped from the shower she went in search of some of his clothes and tugged them on, she was wearing a tank top and t shirt which she stuffed a little into the smallest jeans she found and they were held up with a belt. She smiled as she came back into the kitchen, her hair dripping wet as she ruffled it a little. She smiled at him and then laid down on the table and yawned, watched him for a minute and fell asleep again, smiling beautifully, her skin which had been pale had regain some of it's normal glow which made her look healthy. She was comfortable and relaxed, not to mention still tired after yesterdays ordeal. You could say she took comfort in Vincents mere presence, if her falling asleep so quickly like that was any indication to her thoughts and feelings towards him already.

He sat upon the counter still, letting his thoughts settle as he waited rather patiently. He kicked his legs out leisurely, swinging them slightly beneath him as he thought of the events of last night and this morning already. A grin drew across his face as she returned, the slightest tingle of shyness creeping into his person at the sight of her in his clothing, one of his hands rising to scratch one of his cheeks absentmindedly, a shy gesture. He was unsure of what to say, watching her move over to sit at the table with an irresistible smile on her face, and finding himself returning hers with a warm one of his own. Her suddenly falling asleep was not expected, but he couldn't help but find it cute in a way. The slightest of flushes came to his cheeks as he looked over her momentarily before approaching, carefully picking her up to relocate her to his bed. He would lay her down gently, pulling a cover over her before leaving his room quietly. He would go to lay down on the couch and relax some, not wanting to disrespect her sensenofnrivacy or anything of the sort.

Sleepily, she patted the place beside her and found nothing, as she was used to having a pillow to cuddle with. However she knew right away that's not what she was looking for. She got up, still full of sleep and tiredness and made her way to the living room where she felt Vince. She walked over to the couch and tugged on his sleeve. She yawned, a pillow hugged to her chest as she tugged at him once more. "I want you to sleep with me..." she said softly, her voice sounding softer and higher than before. She yawned again before laying down on top of him and cuddling close, somehow trapping him with her arms wrapper around his torso and her legs tangled with his.

Victor could hear the soft sounds of rustling from the bedroom and wondered if Divine needed anything, but thoughts of sleep tugged at the back of his mind. With his eyes closed and body at ease, it was a hard thing not to succumb to. Just as he had begun to doze off, he found himself opening his eyes suddenly as he felt a tug at his sleeve. How he had not been aware of her there, he was unsure, but then again he was so sleepy that he simply accepted that. He supposed that that could be his answer in itself. A he looked up to her curiously, he was a bit taken back, but not altogether unfamiliar with the feeling. As he began to get up to move to the bedroom with her, she surprised him instead by moving to rest atop him. Still, his arms moved to loop around her gently, his hands resting upon her back as he adjusted himself a bit and again relaxed. With a small smile on his face, he would fall asleep once more, content with her in his arms.

When Divine managed to wake up, she was laying on her side. That's when she looked up and saw the handsome face presented before hers which made her blush a deep red. What in the world had she'd done, the last thing she'd remembered she'd come back to the kitchen to talk to Victor... whom she decided to call Vince. Then she woke up on the couch with him holding her as close as he could. She wasn't sure what had happened, not at all, because she was so confused. She wasn't even sure she really liked him like that, but this felt comfortable and right which disturbed her. She shouldn't be comfortable with me, and he was no exception, or was it the blood that flowed between them? She wondered silently as she stroked his cheek gently, with no thought to it, and was content to just watch him sleep.

Victor slept deeply and peacefully so, his body relaxed against hers as he held her through his sleep. Part of this was entirely unconscious, a part of him telling his body what to do. Still, he had been awake enough when she had come into the living room to process what was going on. It was an odd thing for him, and he wonder if perhaps it came along with his sharing of blood with her. At the feeling of her hand against his cheek, his head moved slowly to follow her touch. This stirred him from sleep, his eyes opening slowly to see the beautiful woman laying with him on the couch. Something tugged at his mind as he looked at her quietly for a moment, in a fond manner, though curious. What had she been thinking, coming to him to sleep alongside? No doubt the same he had been. There was something about the situation that relaxed him still, a grin spreading along his lips as one of his arms moved to allow his hand to gently rest upon the back of her head for a moment. "Morning," he spoke slowly, warmly though still sleepy and a tad hesitant.

She blushed even deeper it seemed as she stared at him for a minute then hide her face, embarrassed more now that he was awake. She knew for a fact that she'd had to have come crawling in here to sleep with him, because she would have woken up had he just moved her for this. She wanted a hole to open up right behind her cuz it would have been easy to role into. My God, what was I thinking?! she thought to herself not bothering to look at him again, for fear that he might laugh at her. She wasn't used to being this close to anyone and was quite unsure what to do in this situation. She felt as though she'd woken up with him after a one night stand or something. With that, it was obvious that since she practically hated men, that she would be embarrassed if not a little shy."M-morning..." she whispered in a soft ultra shy voice, not managing to look up at him.

Victor couldn't helpit blush a bit himself upon the sight of what seemed to be shyness from her actions. While there had been something appealing upon waking up to a beautiful face-- he paused his thoughts there and found himself horribly shy himself. After a moment he mentally scolded himself for being rude and not responding right away after her reply. He smiled in a sheepish manner towards her before taking it upongnhimself to maybe straighten up the embarrassment she might be feeling. So, adjusting theory of them gently, he would move so that she was behind him, and he was sitting just in front of her. His gaze did not leave her though, his head turned to the side so that he may look at her with a warm smile still, "Breakfast?" He offered, voice somewhat hesitant as he still found himself to be getting over the shyness that had pulled at him.

"I um..." she caught at his hand for a moment as his own feelings of shyness alerted her to the direction of his thoughts. She couldn't be mad or anything, he was too kind. She sat up and gave a slight smile. "Um... Thank you for taking care of me..." she said with a little smile that bespoke of the happiness she felt. She was surely not used to men, but with the fact that he'd saved her life, and had been so kind, the least she could do was make an exception and treat him with high regard. But at this point it seemed somewhat difficult, her feelings were in a tender direction, already and she knew that it was because he was so nice to her. She sighed a little and then snapped back to reality. "Oh, breakfast... yeah, waffles and bacon? Pwease!" she asked with a hopeful and teasing smile.

His hand tensed a bit beneath here in pure surprise, then relaxed again as his gaze again moved to her. Her thanks was surprising, but greatly appreciated, even if he didn't quite think he was doing the greatest job of helping her. He had never been in the situation before, tough, so he was simply doing what he could. After collecting his thoughts for a moment, he shook his head slightly, "No, please. I'm more than happy to assist you as I can," he spoke genuinely, his smile a warm. Then chuckling softly at her reply to his offer, he would nod and stand, pausing for a moment to stretch out his arms before slipping in through the kitchen. "How do you like your bacon?" he asked, peeking his head out the doorway in a cheerful manner.

"Anyway you make it..." she responded softly, and then realized as she stretched that she still needed to go back to her place. After all this time, she'd managed to forget about it when everything she'd be moving here was there. She sighed and then flounced into the kitchen. "I still need to go to my apartment, I sorta forgot it really." she stated plainly as she came to sit down and watched him move around with ease. He was nice to watch, something she wouldn't mind doing everyday. He moved with a grace she supposed might either come from his age, experiences, or because he was a Vampire. She wasn't sure what was real about Vampires just from being one, because there was no manual, no instructions on how to do certain things or not to do. It was all on the fly, and how could she even take life for granted? She wasn't sure of anything much right now, and that made her life easily more difficult than before.

He would nod and duck back into the kitchen, placing afrying pans on the stove top and turning on the burners. Then slipping into the fridge, he withdrew a package of bacon to rip open with ease and place strip by strip onto the frying pan with a method that came from practice. Then moving back to the fridge as he noticed her taking a seat at the table, he would smile, "I forgot as well, sorry. Maybe we can go there after breakfast?" he offered as he fished out milk and eggs to place on the countere before moving over to a small pantry of sorts beside the fridge. After taking out flour, he began whisking together waffle batter, a press on the counter already heating up. Then, still feeling a bit odd about how they had woken up earlier, he paused his movements to rub the back of his neck in an apologetic manner as he let his gaze move to rest on her for a moment. "If it makes you feel any better, I was far more awake than you were last night," he admitted a tad shyly, then grinning and moving to make the first couple of waffles before tending to their bacon.

"We can... and I um. Well, I generally have an aversion to males. As a general, but my occupation is considered as a 'companion', however I've never done more than keep my customers company with just conversations. My past isn't tragic so to speak but it's something I don't like talking about. I just feel comfortable with you, no male has ever treated me as kindly as you have. Please excuse my impudence!" she says the first few sentences slowly in a tone that voices her attempt not to think too deeply on it, but the last two sentences almost gush with the shyness and even the tenderness she feels towards Victor. But she didn't want to say too much, so she left it at that.

Victor was flipping their bacon carefully with a fork as she began to reply, his hand slipping to jam his finger against the hot pan as she mentioned her profession. Cursing softly, he dropped his fork on the counter with a sift clatter to look at his finger, which was a swollen red in coloring already. Blushing from embarrassment, he would turn to look at her as her speech seemed to speed up, finding the last bit she said flattering but also, admittedly, adorable. She was being shy, and something about hearing that she was comfortable with him when she wasn't fond of other men was a generous compliment. He felt an tugging in his mind first to explain his reaction, to let her know that he simply wasn't expecting it, not that he looked down on her for it. So grinning in an apologetic manner, as if he had offended her though he sincerely didn't mean to, he would reply hesitantly, "I was just surprised, didn't mean anything..."

Then letting out a soft sigh, as if in relief, he would look at her with the same steady, gentle gaze he always observed her with. For a moment he was quiet, unsure of quite what to say, but he found himself shaking his head slightly. "No, please, I-I'm glad to hear that. I appreciate your company, and am very comfortable around you as well." One of his hands then rose to scratch the Sid elf his left cheek shyly, "Forgive my lack of social skills, I don't spend much time around others."

"It's alright, outside of work, I almost never talked to anyone if I could avoid it..." she said as she got up to take his hand, then taking the finger he'd jammed she kissed it, and noticed the definite change from the angry looking red back to the pale color his skin was. She smiled up at him, this time, it bespoke of her gratitude and admiration for him.

"Well, I was in truth, very nervous you'd be offended, or even be angry at me for it. But since you're not, it seems I was right in my judge of character, and I'm even more able to trust you..." she said, as she leaned her hip on the counter and looked up at him, before suddenly smoothing down his bedhead. She somehow, in a day and a half, had become so comfortable with this man, it was amazing. Again, she accredited it to the blood bond between them. Speaking of which, she now felt as though he was slightly embarrassed and even shy himself, he was very honest, but nor was he forthcoming.

Watching her move to take his hand, Victor felt his cheeks again warm up a bit at the feeling of her lips against his finger. It was a small gesture, but effective enough that it left him at a current lack of words for what she had said just before doing so. Thus, he merely nodded in understanding, then let his gaze move shyly away from her, remembering their bacon now. He lifted one piece testingly to see if it was done, then seeing that it was he would withdraw plates from within a nearby cupboard and turn off the stove top as he moved the bacon onto the plates.

While he was somewhat shy in this situation, he still lacked enough nerves to let out a small, warm laugh with her words. He was not a easily offended man, though wary around her for fear of acting out of place, for he didn't know her well. Of course, he hadn't expected her to know this, so he would then send a warm smile in her direction as he explained, "I was not offended in the least sense, you may sleep beside me as you like." He stood still as he watched her hands move to fix his hair, his hands and attention then turning to the waffles he had prepared. Plating their waffles, he would then grab the both of their plates and let his gaze move to her face once more. It was an odd thing, and a comforting one to be making breakfast for another person, and a beautiful woman at that. While his mind was definitely not always thinking so, he did admire her appearance, but what he found more appealing was the way he felt around her and the way she acted in front of him. Admittedly, he found that fact that she had cuddled fit up to him last night adorable. "Hungry?" he asked after simply looking fondly down at her for a moment.

"Decidedly so!" she said and then sat down and smiled up at him. Somehow this was turning into an awesome morning, gentle and going good. She looked up at the ceiling and zoned out, watching something far beyond her comprehension, it was a vision of black shadows surrounding her and Victor, and as soon as it was over she immediately came back to reality and wondered what had happened. So she instead sent him another smile.

She tucked her hair behind her ears as she took the plate he'd offered to her, and then cute up the food into pair bits of waffle and bacon, everything even. She flashing him a look of slight bashfulness and then went back to her food, which she then drowned in syrup that she found in the cupboard and then grinned before attacking her food almost as though she was starving, eating with a vigor unknown to her. This was delicious! This man had natural skill! "This is SO GOOD!" she exclaimed after she managed to stop stuffing her face.
