@Emma: The Goblin Wood is pretty old (8 years I think) and It's listed on her site in the "Other Novels" section - she has a few trilogies - so I don't think there's another one. Though her other books look awesome. xD

Dang...
I dislike her then xD
To leave such a cliff-hanger ending?
And not continue?!
That's so insane and horrible :gonk:
I SHALL START A PETITION! xD
And I've honestly never heard of her, nor knew she had a site~
This book is the first I've heard of her and I only happened upon it by chance lol!
I'm very very glad I did though~
The ending - I was going to cry if it didn't work out for everyone :gonk:
And then the final chapter being from the point of view of the Goblins who stayed?
That just makes me angry that there's no second book :gonk:
There SO needs to be to tie up all of the loose ends!!

@Emma: I kinda liked the ending (looking back) the openness to it was kind of refreshing. Though at the time I read it... I think I screamed at the book. xD

I'd love to join in on this!
So far, I'm reading "Memoirs of a Geisha" (really good), but I've already completed "'Salem's Lot". After "Memoirs of a Geisha", I already have "Shutter Island" waiting for me. This'll be fun!
Fifty books, here I come!

blackrose>> well, the summary of memoirs of a geisha always made me think it has a really sad ending :d so I didn't really want to read it much Xd

Haha~
I was about ready to throw it, but I love books too much and I was in the library xD;;
I don't think my Aunt would appreciate me throwing a book and yelling in her library xD

On Alice: Wait, SyFy's Alice is coming to DVD soon? Must buy... I loved it sooo much. The Hatter was sexy. xD I'm so glad my friend forced me to watch it, haha. I'm not too thrilled with Tim Burton's vision of the Mad Hatter, but maybe I'll change my mind after I see the movie.

Hmmm... Oh! I almost forgot to update my book list. Again... xD I just read Short-Tempered Melancholic by Arina Tanemura(sp?), and I've started Seduced by Moonlight by Laurell K. Hamilton. I have a feeling Doyle might play a large part in this one. >.>

I think Swallowing Darkness is more his book, like how A Lick of Frost is Frost's... I think she lost some inspiration for titles for a couple books in the middle. Mistral's Kiss, me wonders who's in that one. XD
I don't think there's much more "air-time" for the characters if heir names are in the titles... At least I can't remember if they got a significant amount more.

@Dream: Well, I've not gotten that far yet, haha.
@Vida: Wait, the Merry Gentry series is over? O.o That should make it easier for me, haha. I hate when you start an established series, and you can read book after book, and then you read the last one, and it's like, "Oh, I have to wait for the next one?" xD

@LaVida: As far as I know, the books aren't ending. @_@
Especially since Divine Misdemeanors took a walnut cracker to the world that is the Merry Gentry series. (That would be Dream's way of say LKHamilton just opened a whole bunch more whop-ass questions.)
Even though Swallowing Darkness tired a nice little bow on the series, I fear they forgot to double knot it. XD

oh, I see, oh darn, swallowing darkness looked like it was the last one because of its nice little bow on the whole series and I thought that divine misdemeanors was just a bonus since it was so out of the regular context :d
