Iltu>> lol, no worries then, we both have a ton of time left XD it's not the fact that I don't read a lot of books, it's just that I don't read the ones on my list and then I get super-distracted by other books XD

I read another Andromeda book (Waystation) and I'm not sure what to think of it. A story about lots of Trances from different points on different probability lines is enough story by itself without a whole other story about a secret organisation within the Commonwealth and some kind of 'mind torpedos' that affect your emotions and new OC crew members who contribute nothing. XD

World War Z came in for my hold at the library, so I'm looking forward to that later tonight. =D

I went to my library before leaving for vacation, and all the books I had placed holds on... Didn't have holds on them. Sometimes my library fails, just a little bit.

Yup, LaVida. I read the other Andromeda book my library had, The Attitude of Silence, before and it was a lot better. It did suffer from the universe revolving around Dylan Hunt a little but better that than there being heaps of useless characters running around doing nothing.

Dream_and_Die>> wow.....I'm surprised, the library doesn't usually screw up that badly with holds or stuff like that @_@

Kat>> lol, that would mean that the author got better at writing the books XD

I just finished. Sooooooo good. I can't wait til Black Prism comes out.
I haven't read the Shadowmarch series yet, but I loved The Dragonbone Chair trilogy and Tailchaser's song, so maybe I'll start Shadowmarch.

Finished book 7.

One For The Money - Janet Evanovich

It was really good and hilarious. I'm probably going to read the rest of the Stephanie Plum book.

Well, I'm not enjoying World War Z as much as I thought I would, since the reviews were so good, but I hit a really big flaw early about how the CIA works and that put me in a bad mood. Hopefully that will wear off enough for me to enjoy the rest of it so I don't read it all cynically. D=

I finally added to my list. I was ten books behind! I just finished reading an awesome trilogy, so now I'm having trouble getting into another book.

Ahhhh I stayed up till 4:30 this morning (or is it 5:30? When does daylight savings happen?) finishing my book--not because of the contest, but I got completely sucked in by the plot and just HAD to have a resolution that night. Or else I would go crazy.

This means I can go and watch The Namesake (the movie) now! Yesss.

@LaVida: re: World War Z, yes, it's the Zombie account. =D

I just finished The Dragon Book, which was lovely and I even liked the stories I didn't like, if you know what I mean. There's something about writing dragon short stories that puts writers on their best behavior like using more interesting vocabulary and making them think outside of their usual boxes, such as writers who always write in tedious first person actually writing in third! =D I think I liked the Tad Williams story best, just because it was so amusing, even though it wasn't the most creative out of the bunch.

Guivre>> hmm, I also heard good reviews for the World War Z book then :d was it by any way related to the Zombie Handbook (or was it Zombie Guidebook? :d) or the Zombie Haikus?

plus, if it's a World War against Zombies, it's obvious they gotta screw up one of the defenses of the US.

I've been a reading failure lately so I picked up Stardust at the library (my own copy is at home) to try and get back into the habit of reading regularly. >.<
