But this is my senior year of high school, I've found a guy who really truly likes me and cares about me, I have feelings for him too, we're about the same age and we live pretty close to each other too. Why not dive in and go for broke? He has cheered me up so much over the past few weeks and I couldn't be happier. I'm not out to get married yet or anything, lol, but I don't see what wrong with having a good time while I can. *shrug*

But from where I'm standing, I don't see myself getting dumped by him. :lol:

Well, it'll take around two years for me to get disability. But... I'm hoping I get it so we can get married. I used to be afraid of the word 'marriage' but more and more I find myself wishing we were, but if we get married now I lose my health insurance and my health goes to hell. D:

I can't speak from first-hand experience like some other people in this thread can, but I can speak from second-hand after seeing my parents' fail. I don't want to ever see anyone get divorced, lol. So I sincerely hope everything works out for the best for you, marriage or no.

I didn't know my dad until August '08. And all of my mother's relationships failed, including a second marriage she had.

Brandon and I have been together for four and a half years though. We have no money, our lives are already bound, and with a nice little prenuptial agreement saying that we take what we came with and then divide everything else equally, there's really nothing to worry about.

Brandon comes from divorce. His mom and dad got divorced, and a few years back his mom and step dad got divorced. We know what it's like. But we both stand by each other, through sickness and health already. We've survived a lot of hard times, and we've gotten stronger for it.

Yeah, I think we can handle marriage. After all we've been through, it's just another thing. And we'll finally be bound in the eyes of others. Plus, I'd really like to have a ring, and for him to have a ring.

I'm not allergic to gold, I just don't like it. If a ring turned your finger green, then there was a high content of copper and/or nickel in it.

If we get rings, we're going to get a matching silver set, and both rings have a sapphire on them. Sapphire is my birth stone, and his favorite precious gem. And we both prefer silver over gold anyways.

We saw the rings we want at Khol's about a year ago. They were beautiful, and the set cost around $1,500, I believe. Of course, they don't have it anymore. But we know what we want, at least.

That sounds like a beautiful idea. My birthstone is... for August, it's some random green one... peridot, I think it's called. I don't much like the color of it at all, lol. xP

Anyway. I think I'm gonna try to attempt to get some 3D Animation work done. x_x That stuff has gotten so frustrating for me now, it's really hard to being myself to work on it.
