Cricket's favorite colors used to be silver, black, and blue. Now they're lime green, silver, black, blue, and orange.

I'm honestly not a big fan of lime green... I like forest green... and any other dark green... but the lighter the green the more I dun like it.

Good morning all.

My absolute favorite color is Emerald Green. It doesn't have to be Emeralds themselves, but just that shade of green. Best color ever.

And as far as items go, I have my eye on two more things, and them I'm not sure what I'm going to do after that.

Fey: Actually, the lime color everyone thinks about is actually 'neon' or 'electric green'. The lime green I'm talking about is the true lime green color, which isn't blinding, but very enjoyable. That, and yellow-green like this. I absolutely love this color. I used to like forest green, but after a while I really stopped liking it as much but started liking sea-green more instead. I don't know why, but my liking of colors has changed a lot over the last couple years. I think it's because my sight has changed and I just like how certain colors look to me now that my sight has gotten worse than when they looked to me when my site was better.

Who knows, though.

@ Cricket: Your 'site' or your 'sight?' And yeah, electric green's pretty good, but it lacks the depth and smoothness that emerald green has.

Teal and Silver will always be my two favorites... I hope >.>;

And if I stop being able to type right it's because my head feels funny, I feel like i'm about to pass out and I just accidently ate something that was supposed to expire 3 months ago so I could be sick real soon...

Chach: I caught my errors and fixed them. Not like you went back and fixed your post I banhammered a couple pages back. Sometimes when I'm talking to someone in the room with me I end up typing the word that I'm saying instead. Which is what I did.

Fey: Go lay down then. If you have anything that can induce vomiting, then take it. If not, drink enough water to make yourself puke. You need to puke it up or you could get really really sick.

My boyfriend's a nurse and he said that I should really only throw up if my stomach starts hurting. I haven't felt any adverse affects yet. It was pineapple that was in one of those plastic containers you usually find applesauce in, so it probably had plenty of preservatives... I think I'll be ok.

@ Cricket: If you fixed it, then why is it still wrong? The word you're looking for is 'sight' and not 'site.' Also, you forgot a 'when' in the second sentence of your last statement.

I fixed the first one and I guess I didn't hit 'save' after I went and fixed the second one. And no, 'when' isn't missing. =S

Did you go back and fix your post?

You're still missing the third one. Lol. And if you're not missing a 'when', then you're missing an 'It's.' Either way, the sentence is still broken. And yes I did.

Seems more like grammar nagging to me. Mistypes happen. Those who insist on correcting them seem like they're showing off to me.

Oh, I mistyped a couple words because I was talking about websites while typing the post he's bitching about. So I put 'site' instead of 'sight' in two places. I fixed them. He says there's a third, but right now I don't feel like going back and looking.

At least I make the effort to capitalize and use punctuation, unlike him when he first came in here, and unlike half of the time he uses self-referencing words.

Chach, it's not a good idea to push at me right now. I am having a very bad week.

Ehh, I'm going to keep my distance from that as I usually do. I mistype a lot. I use my spellcheck but that doesn't stop the things like putting the wrong words or wording. It's not like I'm going to go back and read my entire post either. I'm a busy person usually. Especially when it comes to role playing I don't want to have to go back over my entire post...

So other than that I'm just going to agree with Uzura and keep my lips sealed.

Awwh. -hugs Cricket- Bad weeks are bad (to state the obvious.). D;

I'm usually pretty good about grammar here. Every once in a while, I may have an incomplete sentence or something. Of course, grammar can be hard for some people if they usually write in the fashion of spoken word.

I'm an English major and I still screw up grammar and spelling from time to time. But that's okay, because I'm on the Internet with friends who shouldn't care about that sort of stuff. I'm not in an English class whose job is to correct grammar and spelling. It's not like we're getting graded.

Well, true and not true, Uzura. In this thread, literacy is expected, so it's good to have proper grammar and spelling in here, but in the general sense of the internet, I guess you are right. I personally prefer to keep proper grammar and spelling wherever I go unless I am making fun of something or doing something equally random. Nobody is perfect, of course.

Edit: On a completely different note, would anyone mind me posting the link to my quest thread here? I need some traffic in there to keep it alive. O.O

Just because you make a mistype or miss a punctuation doesn't mean you're illiterate. I just think it gets taken too seriously sometimes, like you have something to prove. It doesn't make for a very friendly environment at times.

Oh, I'm not saying it does make anyone illiterate, Uzura. Like I said, nobody is perfect. Yes, I suppose people do get a little irked when they are corrected, but communication is very important to some of us, myself included. I think it is something we should pride ourselves on, so having good grammar and spelling and a large vocabulary is a source of personal pride for me. Because I hate feeling like I am incompetent or not being able to find the right word to describe how I am feeling or the situation I am in. It was hard for me in school to talk to my classmates because they didn't usually know what I was talking about and that frustrated me, because I didn't want to be hindered by something that was supposed to help me communicate. But at the same time, they never put forth any effort to learn anything beyond bare minimum communication skills, so I really didn't feel a need to talk to them often, because I doubted we would have much in common or that we would get along. I don't mean to sound elitist, or like I hold myself more highly than others who don't have a huge vocabulary, but I don't have respect for people who don't put forth any effort to be able to communicate with others, because it usually means they are either too lazy, or they don't care enough to communicate with other people. Of course, I don't expect everyone to take it as seriously as I do. I am just voicing an opinion. But I'm not going to change my opinions just so people like me better. I didn't then, and I won't now. That would be like changing myself to please others, and that is something too precious to alter on the whim of people I probably don't even like. People who I do like wouldn't ask me to change. Again, just voicing an opinion. I'm not trying to say you are asking me to change, and I would like to think you wouldn't. ^-^

Actually, when you start getting lazy online, you start getting lazy in real life, whether you realize it or not.

I don't care what anyone says, I've seen it a million fucking times, and you can ask any English teacher of children age thirteen or older.

Communication is incredible important; it's how we express ourselves, our ideas, our dreams. The best way to do that is for everything to be as clear and neat as possible. But whatever. Uzura knows what's expected of those who post in this thread.
