I'm messing around on several sites at once. I've officially fallen in love with VOCALOID.

I saw one of VOCALOID's voice actresses at AnimeExpo this year!

What's VOCALOID?
It's probably safe to assume that you don't mean the sound synthesizer.

Yes, I do -- the Vocaloid program used Japanese voice actresses, anime actresses, to create the singing voices. Asakawa Yuu is the voice of Megurine Luka, and there were a surprising number of people dressed up as that character at her panel. I went because I love her voice in Azumanga Daioh and Love Hina and just in general, but many others knew her voice from the Vocaloid software.

Duuude... Just finished A Lion Among Men. xD It started off kinda slow- okay really slow. But when it got past the halfway point, I simply could not put the book down. This third installment of the Wicked Years does a fabulous job of tying up numerous loose ends, while still leaving many things up to interpretation. I was impressed.

I just listened to another Chrestomanci book -- Witch Week. I'm SO in love with that narrator, Gerard Doyle! He's simply fantastic.

Make that two -- I also bought The Lives of Christopher Chant.

Any other DWJ fans?

You really should. I'm actually bad at reviewing, but I generally know a good book when I read one. xD

In my defense though I hope to be getting a puppy tomorrow so I'm running around setting things up.

Also guess finally has all four Absolute Sandman (and Death)!! It was on my porch when I woke up this morning. ^_^

LOVE HER! She's so super amazing. I own fourteen or fifteen of her books, closer to twenty if you count volumes with more than one book in. Dark Lord of Derkholm has to be my absolute favorite.

I've got a book with both of those stories in it. It was given to my by my cousin: It's called The Crestomanci Quartet. It's got Charmed Life, Witch Week, The Magicians of Caprona, and The Lives of Christopher Chant in it.

Wah, I be jealous. Guard them well!

I was a big fan of Diana Wynne Jones when I was younger but I don't remember many of her books that well now. -_-

Oh! DWJ stands for Diana Wynne Jones? *facepalm* xD I've heard of her. I really liked Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky. I've got some of the Chrestomanci series sitting around somewhere, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

Just finished the first volume of .hack//link, and it looks like it's gonna be a super fun series. ^^ I really hope they localize the game, too. *fingers crossed* Tokio is such a dork.

@LaVida: Rottie/Shepherd Mix. Tell me you can't love this face. Chewing on the fencing. xD

TaiyoTsuki: I learned about The Magicians of Caprona only a few years ago, and just discovered Conrad's Fate a few weeks ago when someone gave me an iTunes gift certificate. I'm totally inspired to try to write my own Chrestomanci stories! I love her setup of the Related Worlds.

Risika: They're really great books -- you should read them as soon as you can!

Haha, I know. I just have so many books on my 'To Read' list. I should take a picture of my dresser, where they're all stacked. xD I actually picked up the DWJ stuff I have on the recommendation of somebody here... It's been awhile, so I can't quite recall who, haha.

Yes, they generally are. Especially when they have a tendency to contain books that you wish to reread as well as 'new' books. xD
