I can't get me any new books...no monies.

However, I have pre-ordered Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 24 from Amazon. It's not gonna be here until January though! :cry:

hey everyone. I finished reading dark flame: the immortals by alyson noel and I must say it is my kind of book to read. It's really good. :) Lots of twists and turns, which is great. Just reading a magazine now because I need some light reading before I continue on to reading the vampire lestat by anne rice.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god OH MY GOD!!!! :squee:!!! GUESS WHAT I FOUND AT THE BOOKSTORE!!! Jack McDevitt came out with another Alex Benedict novel called Echo!! I am soooo Excited right now!!!! :XD *does a little dance all around the room* AHHH!!! And what a pristine copy too! Yay!!

Taiyo - January?! Well... That's not too far away. I feel your pain though. The game Portal 2 doesn't come out until February :( oh and I got a copy of the first book from that lady you were talking about! I'm gonna try and read a little of it tonight.

Beauty - Hey Beauty! *goes to look up your book* That sounds like a fun read. I'll put that on my to read pile *pile starts too wobble in danger of toppling over* Seems like it only ever gets bigger... >.<! lol. I just saw Anne Rice's vampire books at the book store today! I remember my elder siblings reading them but I was too young/not-born-yet to read them :P

i have the majority of the vampire chronicles by anne rice. i haven't read the mayfield witch chronicles though. haven't interest me nor the new stuff she's been writing.

Yep! I think it was originally planned that way, and then there was hullabaloo about it and it was one movie and now, as far as I know, it's two again. A lot happens in that little book!

Got that right. It's either that or it'll be one movie with two DVDs, like what they did with Two Towers when it came out in VHS.

Then again, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is doing the same thing. There's too much in the book to leave out, and The Hobbit is the same way.

I heard they're doing it that way with Breaking Dawn as well, but since I don't follow Twilight, I'm not sure if that's true.

If it's to do with Twilight, then I don't give a damn. The books are crap. I've only read the first one, but if a series doesn't catch my attention at the first book and give me something worth reading there, then I won't continue with it.
