Yay, a new assassin game! :D

Yes! And hopefully we'll get enough people to play. I can't remember all of the people who were interested in playing, but I'm hoping that each round will at least have 15-20 people in them.

So far I'm not sure we'll manage that. We'll probably have to extend sign-ups or something. But let's hope we reach our goal! =D

Due to NaNoWriMo I may not join up for a little bit, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Maybe try changing the wording in your sig to be more specific? Might get a few extra people.

Maybe saying what exactly it is? I don't know about other people, but I rarely click sig links unless they're interesting. Something vague wouldn't make me click, personally.

Some people do though. I'll work on it in a little while, it's not like I post very many places anyways. ^^;

Well, that's why being clear is best. If you have little exposure, it really needs to count. Some people will click on vague links, yes, but you might get a few extra if it's clear. Who knows.

Though on this laptop I don't have the capabilities, a small 80x55 banner would be nice. I'd put it in my signature if there was one.

I'm not on my own computer, so I don't really have the chance to make a banner. Simmy's gonna order a banner for us though.

There, I managed to squeeze more into my signature than I thought I could.

And oh yeah, our rules are different. To save people from cheating, and we even included a second way to kill people. ^_^

I love that rule for two reasons.

1. It forces people to be a bit more sneaky and stealthy in their attempts. If it's obvious what you're trying to get a person to say, you may end up giving them a way to kill you!

2. This way might be easier for me to kill people. XD

The signature looks great. Plus, with the word Assassin there, it could likely attract people who participated during the event and people who had wanted to but didn't have the time.

Yeah, well that rule was inspired by my lame attempts to kill Uzura during the event. She figured me out and I thought that she probably wanted a way to kill me to shut me up. So I added that way to this game. XD

Dunno if Uzura will be playing this round, I sure hope so, though.

I was assigned to meilin and I was SO CLOSE to getting her to say the word 'stab'. Then the other people in the thread ruined it for me. :p After that I'm pretty sure she suspected me. I even found a bunch of her older threads she frequented but aparently the girl doesn't use the word stab that often. XD

I'm not posting much right now on ....well, anywhere really because of NaNoWriMo.

I generally write stories while talking in forums. XD If I'm left to my own devices I get bored.

I use the word 'stab' a lot. And the person who was assigned to kill me really wasn't trying very hard. The person who killed them and inherited me killed me off pretty damn fast. If they'd watched the spied page for a minute or two, they would've found where I hang out, then they would've only had to've read a couple pages in.

Yeah. The person who had me was a bit lazy. XD

I'm not even sure if the person who had me continued to play the game after it had begun. [shrugs] But I'm glad they didn't kill me for whatever reason. I can use the 150g I got for staying alive.

Well, we're trying to figure out how prizes will be dolled out. Because we want the winners to actually get a decent prize, but depending on how many people we have join, that might not be possible.

I was thinking of refunding the joining amount for those who live, which will hopefully be low because I'm plotting ways to make sure only a couple people survive. The first few rounds are going to be trial and error. Where we figure out how many people we can handle and how the prizes will be issued until we find a way that works to everyone's liking.

Well, I'll tell you that I will definitely play if I get a refund of the entry fee if I'm still alive. That would definitely get me to play, and on a repeat basis.

If I kept just not winning, and entering....that's a lot of gold down the drain.

Well, that's why it's only fifty gold and not a hundred. We're trying to figure out how it'll work. I'm hoping to be able to refund everyone who lives, but we gotta try to limit that number of survivors down so the people who do the best get decently rewarded. We'll also be gaming and posting on the game accout and anything earned on that account will go towards the pot. But I'm not good at earning five hundred gold a day on my own account and mule, so I don't think we'll earn much. =S

For this round I'm sure I'll end up refunding the survivors. But remember, we're trying to figure out the best system to use for this. Hopefully we'll get a couple of donations in addition to entry fees.

Refunding during the trial and error rounds would definately be an okay idea.
As for when I'm hosting the game, I'm sure I'll play the games a little bit while I'm on checking.

Yay! Simmy made it fit! I've hunted down a few other players from the Halloween game. Not many though. You might want to hunt down the other users from it and ask them. You seem to be more natural with starting conversation than I am. ^^;;
