Naturally they'd have to cut things, but if it's two movies, then for sure less will have been cut.
Every time I see the previews for the movies, I get those nerdy tingles and I giggle like an idiot.
It's so weird to think that after these two movies, it's all over.
I've spent like, half of my life into this, and now its almost over.

I was watching a Harry Potter marathon of sorts.
And it finally hit me at how annoying Dumbledore and his favoritism toward Gryffindor and Harry are.

I bought Deathly Hallows for RPing purposes on here. It's the first Harry Potter book I've read because when I was 10 and for a complete decade until last year's release of Half Blood Prince on the silver screen, I declared that I'd never touch anything Harry Potter with a 20-foot pole.
Serves me right, now I have a couple of games, half of the DVDs, and that book. Oh yeah, one of the English classes in my college has Sorcerer's Stone as one of their required reading texts.

Well, it's taken about 10 years, but the end of the Harry Potter series will soon be hitting the cinemas in 2 films, the first of which will hit cinemas this November.
I've just seen the latest trailer for the first film, and it does look interesting. Though, call me crazy, but seeing the Death Eaters at that table with Voldemort, reminds me of the Espada sitting at the table with Aizen in Bleach. Butt I digress.
So, what do you guys think of the upcoming film. Looking forward to it? Dreading it? Why?
And what do you guys think of the other Harry Potter films. Your favourites and least favourites!
Personally, I think it looks to be interesting. And out of the films, Philosophers stone I'm not so keen on, but Prisoner of Azkaban was fun!

I'm stoked. I already have plans to go see it on opening night and everything. What'll kill me, though, is having to wait until next year to see the second part... but in a way it adds a kind of longingness. Because I know that as soon as it's all officially over... there will be no more Harry Potter to wait/get excited for; the same sort of feeling after book 7 was released... and I hated that feeling, after growing up with it for so long. But, despite all that, I'm still really excited to see how they've pulled it off... the trailers look spectacular, and with it being in two parts... hopefully they won't have an excuse to skimp on anything like with the previous films.
Out of all the films, I'd have to say that Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite. The first two films are nothing really to rave about... but I was content with all the films proceeding PoA. Hopefully Deathly Hallows will blow them all out of the water... it would make an excellent finish.

I'm ready for it to be shown and be done with. Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked about it too, but I'm waiting for the next hottest thing to hit the screen besides Twilight....ughhh! I have had about all I can stand of that vampire nonsense.

Most people I know will agree with you on that. WHY that...thing is so popular, I don't think anyone will be able to figure it out, since it ignores ALL PRETENCES of what vampires and werewolves should be! At least that's nearing its end soon!
But yeah, I think most fans are ready and waiting to see the final films at long last!

It's only coming out in December here TT-TT
I wish it would come out sooner!
And has it really been that long? Well, it's not too surprising to imagine it being around that long when you look at how the characters were when they made the first movie and how they are now. They were so little when the first movie came out! I can't help but go 'aw' whenever I see a picture or a clip of them XD

I honestly never really liked the movies.
I'm not going to the theater to see either part of the seventh unless someone else is paying my way that is. :P
I'd rather wait until they both come out on DVD and then rent it and watch it after a week or two long Harry Potter book reading and movie watching marathon. I might be able to get into it then.
The books really are so much better though. I might be proven wrong with the seventh simply because it's split in two. There is more potential.

I'm looking forward to the final movies being released, but I'm not looking forward to all those stupid fans who will suddenly think they have magical powers. I swear, it's the worst part of those popular movies--the fans >.<
I liked the earlier Harry Potter movies the best because they followed the book really well. However, I dislike the 4th because I hate Robert Pattinson with a passion and watching ANY movie with him in it make me all sparky mad. (That's why I'll never watch Twilight)
I love the books though <3 They are amazing <3

XD My lack of being a fanatical fan has basically made me slow on keeping up with the new movies. I hope the last one does well. The trailer seems to give a lot away... in terms of action.

Saw the 1st film for the final book. Not long ago. I have to admit, it wasn't that bad to watch. I'll reserve full judgement for the book 7 films until I have seen the 2nd film next year, but it was a good film.
What do you guys think? Anyone else seen it yet?

haha its kind of funny with you saying that. I think the Harry potter fans are nothing compared to the pathetic twilight fans who think they have a relationship with a fictional vampire lol I'm not saying that there aren't HP fans out there. But they keep to there selves more.
The forth movie to me isn't the same to me anymore...that whole twilight thing has ruined it for me as well, at least the part with Cedric..ugh. But I think part 1 of Deathly Hallows is the best so far, it covers everything from the book. Anyone who hasn't read the books could understand what was going on in compared to the other movies. There is a few parts they left out but not much. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I already saw part I of the seventh movie and I found it to be amazing. It might actually be my favorite one so far...otherwise I like to watch "The Prisoner of Azkaban" because I really like Sirius :) I still read the books during school vacations.

Haha, it had it's definite funnies, and some awkward moments, (the locket's images... the "dancing" in the tent.) But it succeeded in being freaky, thank goodness. I was paranoid that they would make it more child friendly, instead, I think it was scarier.
Oh yeah, also... *crys* RIP Dobby.

Saw it theaters the weekend it came out. It was awesome, though a little bit slow in the middle.
And Dobby was so cute. Usually I'm not a big Dobby fan but his two oneliners had me in stitches.

Yeah, Dobby and Kreacher weren't too bad here (Kreacher with the Pan and Mundungus). Dobby will be missed, but he had some good lines in this film!
The dancing bit threw me a loop a little, but I think I got the point of it...have to admit, some of the humour in this was dark if you spotted it, and that suited me fine. It fitted with how the film went, which definitely felt darker (hell, the Bellatrix/Hermione bit in the mansion alone kinda proves that!). I'm actually looking forward to the 2nd part after how this ended. Though it did stick pretty close to Canon, with the odd extra here and there!
MidnightWolve and Nyvok-that is true. Some fans can be a little...obsessive, but at least they don't got nuts like some fans of...(shudders) THAT series! As someone pointed out to me, that series is basically about a girl choosing between Bestiality and Necrophilia! Why that is popular, I will never know, nor do I WANT to know!

I cant help but totally disagree with your first post o.0
being an avid reader of the books (I read the first book when it was only 1 book) I found that philosophers (or sorcerer's in the US) was far more true to the books then Azkaban. Talking books however Azkaban was my favorite book....so the movie agervated me to no end.
