There they sat, like kings lined up with an air of ego; all but one, that is. There was one person that had been asked by the director to round up the girls. They'd start big and narrow them all down quickly. At least halving this crowd would be a huge improvement.
One of the suits opened the door separating the casting room from the awaiting crowd. Everyone's attention was immediately grabbed as he smiled to them all. "Everyone, line up on the stage. The director will explain the first part of the auditions." He called out before turning and returning to his seat.

Charlie silently stood and followed the others she had spent the whole time reading the script she didnt even notice that the other girls were looking over there compition most seemed cocky others seemed unsure she hoped one of the more humble girls got the part of the lead if she got a snippy co-worker it would be less easy to work.

As all the girls lined up, the director looked over some papers and sighed. He really just wanted the best actors. He didn't care what they wanted, it was about what he wanted. "Right. Everyone. Introduce yourselves. Name, why you want in, all that nonsense. Start from the back left and move right." One by one the girls introduced themselves, talking quickly about their dreams and what they wanted to play, as well as why they are here, how they found it, and what studio they were with.

Charlie sighed she hadnt really gone to a studeo yet though she had been an extra in a few movies that was more than some of these girls she smiled when a few other girls announced they had no name behind them.
When the line came to Charlie she looked at the casting director Charlie Burnstear, I'm 18 years old, I'm auditioning for the leads sister Hazle Joyturn, acting is basicly my passion, I have been in a few other movies and I am currently unattached to any studio".

Notes were being taken with each girl that spoke. What kind of notes? Who knew. He'd numbered each girl as he went as well as bit he liked and didn't. Soon enough, all the girls had introduced each other. He pointing his pen and the group, glad he'd counted a multiple of three. "The first fifteen girls they introduced themselves move the the left of the stage. Next fifteen in the center. Last fifteen to the right. Don't mix around, either. You'll just confuse me and I'll drop you."

charlie read her number 17 okay so she went to the stage with the others in the other group when he said he would drop you if you got mixed up a few girls had a look on there face like 'crap what number again'.
she saw a timidish girl standing about she was beside her so she looked over at her 'hey your over here".
The girl smiled and quickly moved over once they were all in thier groups they waited patiantly for the person running the audition to state the next part.

It took longer than he wanted. He needed people who could hustle, but he wouldn't get on their ass for something this small. Not yet. "Numbers sixteen through forty five, move off stage and watch. One through fifteen, prepare simple talents. Singing, acting, or dancing. I don't care which. I want to how you and act upon request on the spot. Some of these roles include singing, instruments and the such. We have a few instruments in the back. I hope you noticed that in the scripts."

Charlie got off the stage and took a seat as she watched the other girls prepare to do their talents she flipped through her script again the role of Hazle had a few demands you had to be able to sind a bit she was okay with that Charlie had a pretty good voice but music wasnt really an interest of hers she wanted to embodie personalities and transform into different people with different qualities.

The director continued to write notes, having the girls run in the same exact order as they had introduced themselves. He wrote the names the each role the girls could possibly go for while putting X's under some girl's numbers if her just plain didn't like what they had presented him with. Some of them he just simply scribbled out, they were that terrible. "Next group. Stay in order. Sixteen through thirty Don't do something FOR the role, people. Do something you're GOOD at."

(thinking about taking the C off and making her name Harlie i like it and we wouldnt have two Charlies here)
Charlie stood up and walked on stage she thought about what she would do she could sing but so many other girls had done that she looked around and luckly found that they had a flute she had played throughout middle school and highschool.
After a red haired girl performed a rather average dance routine it was her turn she went and grabbed the flute and picked up a stand, chair and sheet music she started to play focusing on the notes and not the other people around her.

Sheet music? Hell, anyone could do that. He'd crossed out and obviously see before dance routines unless they had actually been done well. This flute display was nothing special either. He sighed, crossing under the girl's number. Was there even a part in the movie for a flute? "Stop, stop!" He shouted before pointing to the girl. "Can you do anything else?" Well, not a lot of people chose instruments, and if they did, it was something that had appeared in the script. He couldn't just cut her out for not doing anything related in the slightest. It sounded like some High School recital... ugh.

Charlie stopped " well yeah of course if I was a musician i wouldnt be here I'm not stupid you said dont do something for the movie but if you want I could do something else" she stood up and tossed the flute to one of the stage managers who just cought it "but I warn you I'm not a girly priss so dont expect and glamed out jazz routine".
She didnt even care she she didnt get the role she was truely getting fed up with this guy and her tone seemed to show it.

"Don't argue with me." When had he said anything about the movie? He'd only said something about the ROLE. He didn't want them focusing on one character, but the whole lot. If they were a better singer than dancer, but they wanted to be the dancing character, he'd rather throw them over to the singing one. He glared as she carelessly tossed the flute about. They didn't have the kind of money to have their equipment tossed about! Flutes were fricken expensive! And now here she had some kind of attitude with him. No, he wasn't interested with this at all. He had no time to argue and actress. He'd rather go for one of the girls that were willing to break their back for him. "Right. Get out. I'm not interested in those with no interested in the art."
He looked back down at the paper, scribbling her number off. "Next!"

Charlie just walked off "i dont have time of egotistical casting directors i mean really your not even well known" it was true it was one of the directors first movies and none had really got any buzz.
As she left a few other girls left to including the one girl she had helped out she was whispered to like 'wow i cant believe you did that' and 'that was pretty cool i would have casted you for a dramatic role' she just smiled once she was outside he stood there attempting to haio a cab.

(sure she can go there she usualy isnt that ticked how should she find out about it)
Charlie got in a cab and recived a call from her friend "yeah whats up" they asked her how the thing went "uhg the casting director was kind of a prick" her friend mentioned a few things about dealing with picky or overdramatic casters and how she should go find an agency they wouldnt treat you so average at best if someone backed you up she sighed "fine you win I will go audition for an agency"

( Not likely. They'll still treat you the same. xD It's more or less a test. Can't deal with it, then you're gone. It's all about what the director wants, not want you want. A hard lesson, but nothing is like High School drama. (I wish it was, but it's not. D= )
( Seeing as Devon hasn't posted in awhile, I'll use mah Lev at the R.A.G.E. agency in a bit. xD )

(okay and i think i do want to change her name to Harlie)
Charlie told the driver to stop the cab she paid the man and got out she would go apply to an agency maybe she would actually get into one and maybe make a few bucks off acting which would be ideal for if if not her mother would tell her to go to school for something she would hate.

Lev had an hour free before Charlie showed up to bring him to his next photoshoot. He sat out in the lobby of R.A.G.E., relaxing a bit as he flipped through a script. Well, he'd been asked something very strange. A part in a television series of all things! and a romance, too! His manager had planned quite a few classes to help him hide his Russian accent as best as possible. Well, he didn't mind. He would be able to speak more fluidly at least. It was what the Director wanted as well. He liked the accent, but he wanted it more... 'full.'

Lev looked up from his book as the cold chill from outside broke through. The doors opened, releasing some heat from the room. Well, muscles weren't good for heat unless they were moving, so he chilled quite easily. His eyes gazed over the woman before returning to his book. He'd never seen her before, at least, not that he could remember. Perhaps it was another actress searching to sign up for R.A.G.E.? They were having applicants try out soon.
