Kaze frowned, she was supposed to show her cousin the way to the Nara estate. "Sorry," She said slowly, "I can't. Have to wait for Kaida." She gestured vaguely over towards her cousin. "Have to show her the way to our house," She explained, looking put out about the hassle, but in fact she was glad of the excuse not to go deal with the stuffy Hyuugas. Proper etiquette was such a bother, she didn't understand why people couldn't just say what they thought without worrying what somebody else was going to think of it. Life was so much easier that way, unless she said the wrong thing to her grandmother...or her mom. "I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other." She shrugged.

OOC: Sorry, she already told Kaida she would be waiting for her so no can do...if Alex wanted to wait with her and then go. Well, then she'd have to give in. lol Sadly, I'm deleting the two characters that haven't checked in. I have a friend I want to ask to play. Ninja send me your character profile for Tsunade and Jiraiya's brats, lol. Make sure to make them at least 13 so they can be on Sano's team. You may have to choose to play only one of them so let me know which one you prefer if it comes to that, okay?

Alex looked to Kaze "Hey maybe I can come with you and Kaito... then afterwards you can come with me Kaze-chan... Because I reeeeaaaaallly don't wanna go by myself" She was literally on he knees begging "The people there are so stuffy and I can't stand proper etiquette. It makes my back itchy" Now she was just being overly dramatic as she was trying to get her new teammate to go with her.

OOC: Kaida is the girl. Kaito is the Inu-baka. lol. BTW, Kaze is in line to be clan head after her grandfather. It was part of the choice she made in becoming a Leaf ninja. Shika forfeited his rights to the title when he married Temari because otherwise they couldn't travel together the way they do. Kay. *waits for profiles*

Kaze sighed and looked a bit put out, 'How troublesome.' But she shrugged, "Alright, whatever." She couldn't blame the hyperactive girl for not liking the atmosphere of the Hyuuga household. As the future Nara clan head, Kaze had been forced to go there a couple of times with her grandfather and the place had all the warmth of a tomb. At least Hanabi didn't like her attitude much and Hiashi thought she was impertinent, perhaps that would get them out of the place more quickly.

Alex was in the same position herself as Kaze. Except her lineage is being disputed being she isn't a pure blooded hyuuga but at the same time her mother was main branch. But also at the same time she was the daughter of the Hokage... at least that was how it was worked out in her head. She would honestly be happier without the burden of being next in line because it meant she had less fun in the long run. Her cousin was lucky that she didn't have to deal with that kind of burden. All she had to do was serve the main branch which she imagined was just as hard. "So answer me this... how does your shadow possession work?"

OOC: Wow, Alex managed not to talk for a whole post...but now I have nothing to reply to, lol. Right, lol... better...

Kaze rolled her eyes and shoved her hand's in her pockets. "I use my shadow to grab someone and make them copy my movements." She shrugged, knowing that was common knowledge and therefore, probably wasn't what the spaz wanted to know. Kaze was already getting to know her new teammate in her own way. She just learned more through observation than by asking inane questions. So far she had filed away the fact that the girl had no tact, was hyperactive, didn't like the stuffy Hyuuga mannerisms (that was a point in her favor), and obviously possessed the Byakugan. She idly wondered what else there was to discover about the girl, but she wasn't about to work at it. That would be way too much trouble when just a little patience would let her learn all she wanted to know. Still, as long as the girl was talking to her, Kaze continued to mentally catalogue information about the hyperactive blonde.

Alex sighed "I mean how would you go about learning it... I can't find scrolls anywhere" Again another trait from her father was to learn more. Though she would probably never use it... it would be there for one of those just incase things. "Think I could borrow that scroll?"

Kaze raised an eyebrow at the girl, 'Does she not have any clue at all what she's asking? Nobody's gonna just give away their family jutsus.'

"No." She said, looking up at the sky in annoyance. She had a feeling Alex was going to drag more of an explanation out of her, but she wasn't volunteering anything. It was actually more entertaining for her that way, a habit she had often gotten in trouble for indulging in.

OOC: Ninja is going to playing one of your teammates. For now you can come over and talk to me some more if you like.

Alex looked to Kaze "Come on... i want to learn it. I can teach you something that can prolong the time you can use it if you teach me" The hyuuga practiced Jutsu control so she thought that this offer might have been tempting.

Kaze rolled her eyes skyward, "It's a family jutsu." She said slowly, as if explaining something to a small child. "You aren't family. So, no." The offer was totally unappealing to her, it sounded like a lot of work for no major gain. Besides, her shadow possession could already last for several minutes straight. If she needed it to last longer, she was probably in over her head. That would be annoying.

OOC: Yay! Got a teammate for Sano!! Ninja, please color code your characters to prevent confusion.

Alex sulked "Ugh... you're no fun at all" She flopped up against a wall in defeat. "Man this is a drag" Quoting Kaze exactlty as she sighed loudly.

Lexi popped around the corner to see Kaze and Alex. She soon got an evil grin and threw a rock toward them to grab their attention and hid around the corner. Her plan to get the girls there and then use her Embarrassment Jutsu to get them nude... then she would take a picture with her camera and post them up all over the village. A little mean yes but it would be worth the trouble.

Sano randomly pops up behind Lexi with a smile and puts her arm on her shoulder in a friendly matter. "Hey cousin! What playful mischief are you up to now?" she said whispering knowing that she's hiding. Sano wasn't really used to Lexi's pranks but she always found the results hilarious. Well, as long as she wasn't the one being cranked. She sat and watched what was going on. Hopefully, they aren't as naive as they seem.

Kaze nodded at Alex's proclamation. She noticed the projectile coming and caught it with one hand. She looked for the culprit, at first suspecting Kaito, but a quick glance assured her he was still talking to his team and they were in the wrong direction. She silently held up the rock for Alex to see, and then gestured for the blonde to head in the direction the projectile had originated from. She jumped up onto the wall behind her and peeked over. Spotting the two older genin, she scowled. That was Lexi, always pulling pranks on people. She realized she had just sent Alex into a trap and considered doing nothing. Lexi wouldn't hurt the blonde. Kaze grimaced, 'Man, what a drag.' She mentally echoed Alex's mocking of her from moments before.

A few quick hand signs sent her shadow creeping silently up behind the two hiding ninjas. She carefully blended it with the shadow from the wall to make it less likely to be noticed. She just hoped she could imobilize the two older genin before they did whatever they had planned.

OOC: We're still in the yard in front of the academy.

Kaida stared back playing with the panda's fur. They stared at each other, neither going to break the silence. And that's icky...))

OOC: lol...Hmm...Kaito is an Inuzuka. Quiet isn't their strong suit. He could crack first....or Kaida could just decide to leave for now and start fresh tomorrow when they meet their sensei. lol...That would put you coming to interact with the rest of us as she comes looking for her cousin. Kaito might be a bit stuck but that is the nice thing about having two characters. You can move one on and leave the other for whoever you were talking to before to interact with when they come back. *nods* That way nobody gets left hanging.

Soyokaze's shadow closed in on the older genin. 'Just a few more seconds and I'll have them.' she thought as she concentrated on maneuvering the shadow carefully so as not to draw attention.

After staring at the strangely quiet Inuzuka for a while Kaida decided that she was done for the day and turned in the direction her cousin had left in. The chains on her outfit all swung as one, following her motion and swayed back and forth as she walked away. Each of her steps produced a small cloud of dirt with each step she took. She pulled the panda from her head and hugged it with both arms as she walked through the crowds of student's, all laughing with one another, conversing... A small feeling of loneliness rose in Kaida's stomach. She was alone here...completely alone. She didn't even have her father to turn to now. A small noise of discomfort slipped from her mouth as she continued walking. The people in her way moved aside of their own accord so Kaida's path was pretty much clear, it was like a river parting. Kaida bent her head, eyes watching the floor. What would her father say if he saw her now? Oh...right... Kaida picked her head back up, no, even if she was alone...she would make friends. That was why she came here right? To make a name for herself, not as the Kazekage's daughter but as Sabaku no Kaida.

Kaito watched the Suna girl walk away and then bent down to pick up tenshi, turning his attention back to Hana, "So Hana-chan...what are you up to after this? Wanna go get something to eat? We don't have to meet sensei until tomorrow anyway." He asked cheerfully, his tense nature from before all but disappearing.

(OOC: No, Aoi. Character development is good! ^_^ Unfortunately, I can't do much with you since I have to wait for Ninja to respond...Don't know whether she's still online...)

Lexi explained to he cousin "I plan to get pictures of them naked and post them all over the village" she smiled wickedly. She didn't see them come so just moments before the shadow touched hers she ran out in the open for plan B. "Hey there girls" she smiled as she approached. Her white braids swayed as she ran up. Alex looked over to see Lexi and backed away "Oh no i am not gonna fall for whatever you have planned" Lexi looked at Alex of them innocently. "Me?... I just want to talk" Alex replied "I ain't falling for that one either... go find another pigeon" Lexi looked to Kaze but she wasn't there "Where'd Kaze go" She was wanting to keep Lexi stalled for Kaze so she replied "Hey you got any pranks cooked up? I want to be part of it." Poor choice of words for Alex because Lexi was about to use her humiliation Jutsu.

(OOC: You're a boy? Oops! Your avi is a girl, how was I supposed to know? Still sorry anyway. Umm...Your post doesn't match up with mine...O_o' Kaze told Alex to walk around the corner while she went up and over and was trying to trap you from the roof. So Alex should have been going around the corner or choosing not to listen to Kaze for some reason. Still, Kaze isn't standing there anymore so even if you came around the corner you'd only see Alex. Please edit because I can't respond to that from where I was...^_^ )
