(Actually, Queen Melta is on her way to the meeting, so the queen left and her son. We can assume Katie was in the group that left with Melta. So the meeting hasn't acutally started yet.)

Lair's voice was low and deep, his golden eyes burned. "I am not treating you as a brainless child, Kaida Regina Du Fior, unless you deserve it. Respect your elders, especially your parents. One more time, child, and you will not like the results." They flew away, towards his son. They gained on him quickly and caught up to him before they arrived at the oasis. "Shin, do not humor your sister anymore. She has to grow up." He looked at his son, the side of his mouth twitching for a smile. "I pity her betrothed..." He looked up as Salazard began to descend to the meeting place. "We're here."

(Sorry, Katie. I forgot to say. The wind kingdom people are actually flying themselves there. They aren't in a carriage. Its the second post on page 5, so you can get the gist of how they are getting there.)

((And the meeting isn't in a building ^^;; Uh oh, I saw a full name XP Ok, I think Kaida gets the best reaction from the other characters out of all my other OCs XD))

Kaida slumped back in her seat, not very 'royalty-like' but she was in trouble and knew it. She would behave, at least for a little while. By a little while she was more thinking about when she was in view of her parents because she knew her mother wouldn't be pleased about her attitude either. That was part of the reason she didn't look at the woman that sat across from her. Just because her father was gone didn't mean she knew she was still being scolded, she could just tell that her mother was upset with her. Kaida was more than relieved that the carriage landed soon after leaving her father and brother to do who knows what. The girl stood up and opened the door to let her mother out first. Best behavior, best behavior, best behavior, she had to keep telling herself thought it was still hard. Once her mother stepped out, so did the girl though she closed the door a bit harder than she had meant to. Everything around her was much more colorful than she had originally thought it was from the distance. For once in her life Kaida was speechless.

Taru and Rose had finally came upon the meeting sight, thier parents were already moving about and doing what they normally did when there as they waitted for the others. Rose got off her horse, it was like a switch was flipped with her and she was doing almost everything that her horse was. JUst walking around and exploring what was around her, soon she stood by one of the oldest trees in the area, placing her hand on it's trunk, stand so still it was like she was a statue, her eyes were even close.

Taru just went to a tree and sat under it, he wasn't fazed by what was around him, after all the place was beautiful, an un-real beauty to be exact. Like his sister he was in a calm state, his element was completely around him and there was nothing that was going to change the fact that his element was there to be with him, comforting him, and it was going to help him when he mets the two girls that he has to chose between to marry.

Deks took Nene back into his arms. Leaping high into the sky, a pair of wings appeared from behind him. He didn't actually have a set of wings, but he could make a fake pair appear when he was flying. Deks did it more or less for show. Although, lately he'd discovered his fake wings could actually move. Hoping to one day fly with them, Deks practices using his white wings.

Finally arriving at the meeting grounds, Deks set his partner down. When their eyes met, he released her hands from his own. This will be... interesting. Nodding, he lead Nene over toward the others. "Heh, sorry we're late."

"Well I'm not sorry," scoffed Nene. Crossing her arms over his chest, she snorted and walked over to sit beside Deks. "Sorry father, but I cannot stand to sit beside mother. I shall be joining Deks and his family for this gathering." Her tongue poked out and created a hissing sound toward her family.

Most people didn't know of Nene's sheer hatred toward her mother, but he was amongst royals now. She didn't care what they thought of her. She was a princess with or without manners.

Melta and the rest of the Wind kingdom arrived and set their feet down softly on the near Deks. Melta looked at him, nodded her head and then to her daughter that had landed beside her. "Katie, have you seen your brother since he has returned?" She smiled, though it was slightly forced, her eyes no longer having a hint of their normal gold, instead looked dark red.

Lair dismounted from his black dragon friend, Sheer flying down to land as his shoulder as they always did. He went to the carriage that his wife and daughter exited and offered an arm to his mate. He escorted over to where they would sit, his gold eyes given his daughter a look that said he was done tolerating her here.

Katie ran her hand threw her hair in an stressed sort of way."No ..I haven't."She said softly, looking around. She looked at her mothers face, noticing her smile looked a little forced. Katie had always had pity for her."Have you seen him?" She asked.

Melta nodded. "Briefly. I'm sure we will talk again when we have the time. For now, you should go greet him, Katie." She knew her daughter pitied her and she hated it. She got along well enough in her home, as she had for the last few decades. She did not like being pitied. She smiled at her daughter once more. "Go on. The meeting will adjourn in a few moments. Take that time to see him again." She turned to her husband and they preceeded to their seating, her husband, as always, choosing to float crossed legged above the ground. She preferred sitting firmly, arranging the skirts of her dress to be comfortable.

Katie nodded a little at what her mother was saying but took no act in doing so..her brother was by another girl so she decided to not say anything to him at all. She was confused over everything so she just stayed close to mother, since she didn't know father very well either..and she had always liked mother better.

Deks turned his head toward his sister. "Something wrong?" he added with a slight head tilt. "You seem... upset?" His taunting two-tone eyes shifted over to Nene just for a second. "Nene, perhaps you should join your family. It is only fitting." Bowing to her, he shoved her away. I'm sorry....

His eyes then flickered back toward Katie. "So, how have you been my dearest sister?" Deks' silvery hair spun around some in the breeze that was barely there. With his eyes now at her feet, Deks recalled that he hadn't removed his wings yet. Concentrating, the angelic like wings vanished into the air.

Kaida stepped away from the carriage, she caught the look her father gave her but couldn't do anything...yet. She waited, watched him for a moment before her eyes fell on the others that were landing there. The others were nothing short of being beautiful, but then again she didn't think any could compare to herself. Her eyes then fell on her father. That was her chance, his back was to her. She shot a glare at the male before crossing her arms under her chest and sticking her tongue out at him. She didn't really care what her father said, she didn't plan on changing who she was, but then again it could make the kingdom look bad and in turn herself. She was going to have to think about this. She looked around trying to find her brother, for once not all that anxious of not having his company. He could always help her anyway.

Katie looked at her brother with a small smile."I'm fine."She said,looking at her feet. "You didn't have to make her leave if you didn't want her to go."She said,looking up at him."How have you been?" She asked..wishing they could act the samee way theyy had as children.

Shin landed his dragon and walked towards the rest the family. He gave his dragon a rabbit to snack on he walked up behind his sister. "Hey looks like dad isn't pleased with you." He said catching the look. He stood next to her and rubbed his neck some. "I have a feeling this isn't going to be fun." He muttered with a groan he was so looking forward to it too.

Kaida laughed a bit before she casted her brother a 'no duh' look. "Is father ever pleased with me when he makes me do something I don't want to?" She laughed a bit more to herself knowing that their actions were usually predictable, the only difference being this time that fire had yet to be thrown. She was ready though, she was always ready for that. "And why do you say it won't be fun? We're the best looking people here, you second to me of course," she smirked at her brother. It was a rare occassion, they were actually getting along for a change. She was ready to see who was there but she was also curious as to her brother's reaction thus far; it would help her determine whether or not she could drag him along.

Sheer squawked at Kaida, obviously having seen her attitude towards her brother. Lair sighed but let it go. He knew from Sheer that she had to have down something. He sighs, glad his wife did not see her. They sat at their place and waited for the rest of the kingdoms to arrive.

Shin grinned. "Trust me on this sister, the world would be in a sorry state if you where the most attractive. But seeing as you are the female I'll subdue to your higher knowledge on the subject." He said chuckling. "Well for one da is being super strict, for two it's all pretty If we burn something they'll know, and finally because I just know we have to act proper which isn't fun at all." He said with a sigh putting the back of his hand on his forehead dramatically. "Its a cruel world." He laughed some and stopped.

Kaida noticed the sounds from her father's dragon and her attention instantly shifted to that. "Hey, I thought we had a truce!" She whispered loudly to the creature, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I said you could see my sweet Miki if you didn't rat me out, I saw how you were eyeing my baby don't think I'm blind to that!" She then looked back a bit to see her own dragon; her upper half was black, lower half red. She was one of the younger dragons but her baby nonetheless, had Kai's ego at times too.

She then looked back at her brother saying, "Well at least we agree, I am the most attractive one here." That was Kaida, she only heard what she wanted at times. "And I thought mother dear told us stories where this place wasn't effected by our powers. I don't know though, could just be a story. You're the book smart one I guess you should know something about that if it were true." She then waved her hand dismissively before linking her arm with her brother's and pulling him with her as she walked away from the carriage. "Now let's see," her eyes scanned the small section of the garden they were at until it landed on a couple horses and people. "Horses, where would they be from would you guess? Do you think we'd be looking at darkness? Nah, they aren't dark enough." She then sighed, tilting her head to her brother, "What is your guess Shin?"

Shin grinned know who came by horse. He ignored the rest of it. "Earth, I bet you its Earth." He said giddily. "They are the only ones that come with out a carriage most the time. They bring horses, wind doesn't bring anything, darkness comes with these huge gargoyle looking creatures pulling them forward. He said trying to think of who else there was. "I don't know about water and I don't know about light though. I didn't get all the way through the book." He said pouting a little.

Deks shook his head. "Nah, it's okay. I can see Nene whenever I'd like. But you, my lovely sister, now that is a rare treat. I haven't seen you ever since I left to fight. I will admit, I did miss you far too much. I made sure to keep my hair long for you too. Remember when we were younger? Oh you used to love to play with my hair. If I recall correctly, you wanted to... marry me."

Laughing, Deks placed a solo hand Katie's right hand. "Sister, should you get stuck marrying a rude brute, I will personally slay him for you. You know there is nothing I wouldn't do for you and mother." His eyes were semi-stern as he looked deeply into her eyes. "We're family and it is my duty in life to protect you." He said as he placed a light kiss on her forehead. "Where would you like to sit for this meeting? Or whatever the hell they are calling this gathering?"

As he spoke, his eyes drifted over toward Nene. She was standing alone with her bitchy look plastered all over her angered face. Nene was actually rather terrifying when she was in the moody mindset of hers. Smirking, Deks returned his attention back to Katie.
