We had satellite for a while, but the reception would fail miserably at times. Much happier with digital cable. Sometimes a little too happy, depending on which movies are on the On Demand channel.

Okay guys, with or without the laurels?
Also, any ideas for a hand held item other than bamboo and other than the green lantern that'll look good with the avatar?

I'm kinda back. I do have some homework that I should probably work on. So I might be sort of in and out of conversations. (I'm pretty sure I already made more than 10 posts though, hahaha...)
Edit @ Cricket: Oh geez. o_o They both look good... xD;; Um... I don't know which one I would pick. I'd say it's up to you. xD; They're both good. No suggestions for the handheld item, though. xD Sorry I'm of no help at all, lol.

Part of me prefers the one without - the green then becomes more subtle. I think something like a pinwheel would be pretty lame, but let me poke around the shops.

Saelia: You don't have a preference? XD
Elmira: Already looked for a pinwheel that would match, it doesn't exist. S:

I kept thinking that there was a pinwheel that had green in it, but it doesn't have other colors that could match. What about the Dark Cocoa Mirror or the Evergreen Cane. I also looked at the Evergreen Candle Lantern, but it made me think you'd look like someone out of "Oliver Twist".

Gah! I'm back! I keep working in sort of spurts on the art, which would be why I keep vanishing, lol.
Cricket, I have no ideas for a handheld item, unfortunately, but I'd say without the laurels. *nodnod*

Grr... my English teacher is so dumb... Has anyone here read the book Madame Bovary? It's a stupid book about a girl named Emma who is never happy with life and she keeps looking for more because she is a fickle, spoiled, bitch. Then she drinks arsenic and dies and everyone else dies too. It's really a stupid book. My teacher is making me turn the entire book in to a play script.

Elmira: Oliver Twist is fine. XD Itami is relatively homeless, anyways. I don't have an evergreen cane. And the dark coco mirror puts too much gold in one area, and it doesn't even match the buckles. I'll show you, just let me have a moment to put it on.
I'd like to try the cane and the lantern, but I just don't have the gold for them. >.<;;

Ok. I've mentioned this to Cricket already, but I'm not familiar enough with the EIs and CIs prior to this past December. Took a look in the price guide within the Exchange thread and really didn't see anything that didn't scream "Shamrocks" at me - and that just wouldn't look right.
Ok. It's now wicked late here and I have a class at 8, possibly have to pick Mark up from work. I'm signing off and wishing all you beautiful people a good night!

Saelia: Yes, it does, just a bit. It's such a boring book, and now it's like I have to read the whole thing over again as I write the script.

I really don't think that's such a boring assignment. At least you weren't being forced to read aloud Juliet's lines from Romeo and Juliet because you're the clearest speaker in the class and can make your voice gorgeously dramatic. I wanted to be Mercutio, damnit.

Oh, we didn't do the play, we just read aloud in class. I was fucking Juliet for two months! I wanted to be Mercutio!
But to make it up to me, my English teacher let me act out a scene in front of the class where I was allowed to be Mercutio and I had a gruesome death that lasted about ten minutes too long. ;;>.>... Then I got a cookie for making her laugh. <3
My English teacher was awesome.
And when it came time for To Kill a Mockingbird? She let me act as Atticus, my favorite character from the book. I was so happy. So very, very happy.

We did that for a lot of our plays too in our English class, but every now and then we'd act it out. Most people didn't bother trying to even speak their lines as if acting, they just read them like text. It was so annoying. But then, it was English class, not Theater, so I guess they figured they didn't have to.

Even if I hated the book, I'd enjoy an assignment like what you have, Oxy. Just because it seems like that type of awesome thing. Who cares if the book sucked? It's still something cool to do.

Cricket: Yeah. It is a cool assignment, it's just annoying because the book was so terrible. Plus, the teacher is really stupid. She barely speaks English and she doesn't make any sense. It's quite annoying.
Kierys: Yeah, I hate that. Even when we are supposed to act it out, people never do. It's so stupid, makes me want to punch them in the face. I'm an actor, so when I go up to read it I act it out, and it's really hard to act when the people you are playing off of aren't acting.
