Man I really wish I had time to read... I don't even want to start this year because it'll just get me depressed if I think about what I COULD have been doing instead of the other things that are posessing my time.

Ahhh, I had completely forgotten this thread.. But I've updated my reading list! only about 75 books to go :D

I haven't been on Menewsha for a while, but I'm back and updated my list. Blarg. I haven't gotten done a lot of reading unfortunately. School, school, school has been the theme of the year. I will get more on there though. -nod-

What are you all currently reading?
I'm focusing on House and Philosophy: Everybody Lies. It's really very good. Last year I read the Alice in Wonderland version of the book. I'll never look at it the same again. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys House (the t.v. show) and enjoys philosophy. Even if you're just a House fanatic you'll probably enjoy the book.

I started reading Mercy by Rebecca...eh I forget her last name, but it's on my list. So far, it's really a weird book, not sure if I can really understand at the moment, as it's a bit twisted.

I'm back! I've somehow misplaced Return of the King, so I'm reading the second book in the Atherton trilogy. And I'm about 3/4 of the way through it already!

Current working on Great Expectations and Animal Farm.. Both are really good, but I'm liking animal farm more, simply because its easier to understand XD and it has a great message.

I finished one more book!!!! And will have another one done soon hopefully..I don't think my goal will be finished by the end of this year...

I am currently working my way through three books. Two of them, Selected Papers from the American Anthropologist 1921 - 1945 and Homo Hierarchicus, are anthropological books. The other, Feminist Politics and Human Nature, is a Political Philosophy book.

Well, by Monday I'll have yet another book down. And started on another.

The House philosophy book sounds interesting even though I think I only watched the first three series of the show.

I couldn't decide what to read after my last book but I ended up reading the second Wallander book. I always wanted to know what was going to happen next and kept staying up to read 'one more' chapter (i.e. about three). I have the third Wallander book but I need to read Frankenstein before seeing the play. >.<

Once I'm done with the Atherton books i'm going to read a Doctor Who book that's in my campus library. It's from Series 5!

The House Philosophy book does have some spoilers. I don't know which season it has spoilers up to, but for sure the first two.
It really is very good.

I've been recommended Tomorrow, When The War Began. I had been reading the series a few years ago but moved, forgot the name and blah blah blah. It's really very good. Apparently there is now a movie based on the books.

Yay a challenge on something I enjoy! I want to do it and my goal is for 100 books. XD

Hehe, I think I kind of got carried away by the Detective Conan series. But it was an amazing series though. I finally finished the challenge and exceed my goal by almost twenty books. I am so proud of myself. XD

Iltu- It was a very odd read almost to the point of being unbelievable. Nonetheless it was really enjoyable, made me laugh a number of times, and made me feel for him at others.

Ophelia- You know, now that you mention it, I remember thinking some aspects of the book were borderline unbelievable as well! I can't remember what though, it's been a while.

Iltu- There were a lot of times like the mastburadome (or however you spell it.) And how Finch was divining with his bowel movements, are what did it for me XD
