I'm alive again. Tetris can't keep me entertained for to long. It gets so boring. So how is everyone doing?

Haha. I play Tetris for way too long at a time. It's becoming an addiction. I didn't do my homework once because I lost track of time in Tetris.

Feeling the love here! <3 Right now, I'm watching an immensely lame movie called "The Day the Earth Stopped". Guessing it's an adaptation of "The Day the Earth Stood Still". This one is with C. Thomas Howell, not the one with Keanu Reeves. Lots of naked aliens though.:shock:

It wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't used an Angelina Jolie look-alike for the female and a guy that looks to be 12 for her counterpart. And the acting is... let's just say that I suspect I'll be more focused here than on the show.

And why wouldn't you be? We are awfully entertaining. ^-^

I share this TV with my family, and they don't all have the same taste in movies that I do. My old man is more into the Simpsons than, say, Battlestar Galactica. When I can see a SciFi movie, I always hope it's good. So, I am sad. They also filmed some of the movie in areas that I grew up around, so it's kind of surreal. All told, I think I've watched about 10 out of 45 minutes of the movie.

Hello thread, and those who inhabit it. ^^ Naked aliens, huh? I saw Watchmen in the theater last night... Dr. Manhattan, the blue super-powered guy... walks around naked because he has no need for clothes or something... gyeeh... I had to admit, that movie was a bit more than I was ready for. I thought it was going to be a movie kids could watch, since it was based off comic books, but it was definitely not. Not just nudity, either, but it had really gory violence... That was way rated R. I'm more than a year over 17, and it still shocked me. Be prepared if you go see that movie.

That's not to say I didn't have fun last night; I did. Hanging out with Drew is always great. I was just caught way off guard by that movie. :sweat: @_@;

I was wondering if you were going to comment on the movie! Thank you for the warning, since I do have some younger eyes here. There are some movies that I watch when I'm the only one up.

When I collected X-Men and all the various spin-offs along with the Green Lantern series, I picked up the Watchmen. It was pretty dark stuff, even in the comic. Some comics are pretty light-hearted. I'd even read some spin offs and later issues of Justice League that were pretty creepy. There are some things I'm ok with seeing, but I have limits. I think we can become a bit too desensitized or jaded if we see too much of some things for a prolonged period of time.

It was pretty good, Dae. ^^; I hope you like action movies. And yes, Elmira, please don't let your children see it unless you want them to be scarred. :sweat:

And Cricket, yyyeah.... xD;;; And see, that wasn't even the most shocking part of the movie at all; that was "tame" compared to all the other violence and sex scenes. I'm just not using to seeing it, you know? But... I guess I have to sometime... >_>;; Anyway. Apparently I have missed interesting conversations about blue stuff. Pity. However, I shall have to refrain from asking, as I am going to go play a bit of WoW. I need to level my character and see if my auctions sold, and hopefully I will have contact about that person I need to fill the role for my character Cree...So, I'll be back later tonight.
