Ahh sorry I ended up vanishing for longer than I planned. I finished reading what I was reading then it was time to start dinner.
Oh yay more tornado watches and thunderstorms coming our way. Oh joy.

Cricky - Wisdom teeth out aren't as bad as I thought they were. The no hot food and what was it, no straws thing sucked. The valium before the surgery was entertaining. I didn't noticed till after wards though. I had to take it an hour before and by the time we got there I was kinda just staring off into space and all.

Anyway I was going to mention something else but I can't remember at the moment. Hopefully it will return to me in a bit.

Yeah, but I eat a lot of rice and a lot of corn, which I won't be able to eat until the wounds in my mouth heal.

Hot food isn't a horrible loss to me. But I remember when I had my teeth pulled and the pearl removed from my jaw when I was fourteen, I couldn't eat hard foods, either. And the only soft foods I like are rice and corn! Argh!

And I won't be able to eat pasta because I'll have to breathe through my nose so I don't dry out the sockets from the removed teeth. Yeah, right. Me, breathe through my nose? That's so easy! Right? :sarcasm:

You know how that goes with us three...

You could still eat rice and corn. You just can't really eat anything hard. Just make sure the corn is like canned or frozen bagged corn and you'll be fine. If you have to you could over cook the rice a tiny bit to make it a bit softer. Mac'n'cheese is one you can eat to. I kinda lived off that because I was also very sick when I had all mine taken out. Mine was a lot worse than usual since I had to have part of my jaw chipped. Then again my tooth was stuck in my jaw bone itself. Didn't help the healing at all.

Oxy - I have no idea. Anthropology and History only. English sometimes. Physics will turn me into a drooling fool.

Cricket - Why do you think they're from Gaia?

No, they tell you not to eat rice because it can get into the holes left from removing the teeth. And macaroni and cheese makes me nose run. >.<

I wasn't told not to eat rice. Just nothing crunchy and hot. They just advise soft foods. It doesn't matter what you eat because no matter what food will go into the holes I can tell you that right not. That's why you have to rise out your mouth after eating. So eating rice won't matter. No matter what you eat it's going to be in the hole.

Oh and no spicy foods either. So on so on.

Have you ever seen the idiots they have in the chatterbox?

I ate rice against they're wishes when I had my teeth pulled. Rinsing out my mouth didn't get the piece out of my left lower socket. I stuck a needle down in it and got the grain of rice, but I also think I hit a nerve because I felt a horrible horrible pain and I've had a bit of trouble off and on with that part of my jaw ever since. ^^;;

It's not like I could've sucked the rice out of the socket, that's the reason why they tell you not to use straws.

Anyways, I survived getting my teeth pulled out by eating ramen loosely rolled into little balls and swallowing them whole. That, and lots of raspberry sherbet. I'll probably do that again.

If you need to get something out of the holes I have this thing I used. It's a washable thing but it's like a little hook but it's not pointy, more rounded so you can get things out without hurting things. It's what I used to get food out of my holes and it worked really well. It was usually the one that had been in my jaw bone that had stuff stuck in it.. that hole was huge. ><; It took a whole 6 months for my holes to completely close.

Sis: They only gave me three months before they locked me in braces. As soon as the stitches had broken (the kind that dissolve, dear god, they hurt when they started breaking) and I wasn't oozing from the sockets anymore, they shoved spacers between my other teeth (horrible wire ones that hurt like a bitch) and made them start moving.

So basically, three weeks after getting them removed (and the pearl was under a tooth, it was an adult tooth that didn't fully form) they shoved spacers into my mouth. I had my teeth extracted in December, and the following February (in the beginning of it) I had braces.

Oh. My. GOD. It hurt soooooooo bad for the first week! All I could do was cry, pop Tylenol into my mouth, cry some more, and sip juice through a straw and eat ice cream.

After that first week I didn't want ice cream for a long time.

Oxy: Not me. It makes me wish there was a button on my keyboard to kill the idiots at their computers who spewed out all that bullshit.

Of course I've seen it. That's why I don't post there. Do you think this person knows you from Gaia or do you think they're being deliberately stupid to annoy you? Is this more amusing or just obnoxious to you?

I try to avoid the chatter box or the general discussion on Gaia for fear of the things I might see there. The horrors upon my eyes..

Monkey has decided to park it in front of the keyboard.. as usual anymore. She's making it really hard to type.

I don't think this person knows me from Gaia, I think they're just being annoying and need to have their mother spank them with a spiked club.

I don't see it as amusing, I see it as obscenely obnoxious and people who behave as such towards other people for the sake of annoying them need to be banned from the internet. It's just... Argh.

And I did look at their past posts. I know they aren't really that stupid as to type like that all the time. So it was obviously deliberate.

I'd suggest contacting and admin then if you haven't already. Is this someone's mule or someone you've had issues with before?

Liking the spiked club idea immensely.

I have no idea if it's a mule account or a main. If it's a mule, they're claiming to be a new user in a charity. Like I said, I think it's some stupid little Gaian troll who wandered in here.

I already contacted a moderator about them.

As I've gotten older, I vacillate between being super snarky and laid back. I used to just be evil. I think that you handled the situation well.

Lol, thanks. ^^;;

At least I know the staff here will actually put a stop to this person's behavior if it keeps up. Whereas Gaia and other sites wouldn't give a shit and would just tell me to buy something from them and shut up. (Gaia actually did that to me once.)

If only all the illiterate people could somehow magically vanish of the web.

Urg this is going to take some getting used to. So I had to adjust my keyboard, mouse and tablet. I have this monitor stand thing with a keyboard tray. My tablet was sitting in the tray with something over it and then my keyboard sitting on that since the cat would sit on it if it were in front of the tray and then I had my mouse kinda out front on it's own. I moved the table to sit under the tray since I just noticed there is enough clearance for it to be under. Then I put the mouse up in the tray with the keyboard like it's supposed to be and it's just really odd since I'm used to it being closer to me and more to the right.

I need to clean the table that the computers are on before it becomes a useless papers cave. What do you use a tablet for?

Yeah, it's like me trying to use a desktop; I always run the tip of my right middle finger over the desk under the keyboard expecting it to move the mouse. XD

I really need a laptop. I need to be free of the desk!

I just don't want to ask for one for my birthday/Christmas. I got spoiled enough getting my Sony Reader and 150$ for Christmas. Then the 300$ I had for graduation when I got my tablet. A laptop won't be cheap since I don't want a crap one. I'm looking into Sony Viaos since they are pretty good. Decent memory and RAM. Just even finding them used they are like 500$ for the newer ones. *Sigh*

I would seriously consider packing up the LCD and monitor stand if I could get a laptop. There would be much more room on the desk with a laptop.

As to your question Elmira I use the tablet for art. That and photo editing. You can ask the Twin here how good I am.

Urg I keep reaching over to far for the mouse since I just moved it. It's getting a bit annoying.

I'm never 100% sure what things are, but assumed that it was for drawing. I'm thinking that when the kid gets a bit older, I'll get one for her along with her own laptop. She does a lot in Photoshop and draws freehand on paper tablets. It would be nice if she could draw and store it on her own laptop... maybe in another year or two.

Tablets are good for the artist! I just make little doodles like the one below and then edit things like the photo below. Though I do better drawings I just happen to like that Chibi.

I want a tablet, but at the same time I don't want one. I want one because I feel I might be able to master it better than sketching on paper. But at the same time, I don't feel that I'm artistically talented enough to deserve one yet.
