Lillianna smiled as they danced together. She span in a fashion that if she were wearing a dress, it would have came up and fanned out around her. She could see the look in his eye as they danced together. They made their way back to the kitchen and the song soon ended. She pouted as it went to a commercial. "Aw, I was having fun." she said with a laugh.

"As was I, but alas I mustn't let your food be ruined. For as much of a tragedy as it was to end our dance, to make you go hungry would be an even bigger one." he crossed his right arm across his chest and bowed to her. His eyes closed and the images of her dancing replayed in his mind. He opened his eyes and saw her standing there, a vision that could awaken a god, or send one vampire to hell.

Lillianna smiled and curtsied, pretending she had on a skirt as she did so. "Well thank you." she told him, going to sit back on the counter behind him. She watched as he began to cook again.

He had to admit it had been a while since he had cooked for anyone. He silently prayed that it was as tasty as he remembered it being. The meal prepared, he sat it down in front of her. He than sat across the table hoping and praying that it was good enough for the angel sitting across from him.

Lillianna smiled as the food was placed infront of her. "Thank you." she told him before she took a bite. "Oh wow..." she said. "You're right, I suppose it is like riding a bike." she told him with a smile as she ate the yummy pasta. "This is really good." she complimented his cooking.

He smiled, she actually liked it. He silently breathed a sigh of relief. He looked at the clock and only twenty minutes had passed. "Oh, how terribly rude of me," he stood up and went to the fridge,"I forgot the drinks, um what would you like?" He dropped his head cursing himself for his own forgetfullness.

Lillianna laughed softly. "It's a little early for me to start drinking. How about an italian soda?" she asked. "There should be some in the door on the second self." she told him, eating more of the delicious food he had made.

He searched and found a soda. He looked for and found a glass, opened the freezer and grabbed some ice. He place some ice in a glass and opened the soda and poured it for her. He then placed the glass infront of her and went and sat back down. He leaned his head on his hands and watched her eat. "It makes me happy that you enjoy my cooking, and I must admit it has been over fifty years since I have cooked anything."

"I am afraid not. The only food we need is well, I am pretty sure you already know. I will not mention it as I do not wish to ruin your appetite. So you are a waitress, during the day, I mean." he said looking into her eyes. He could not help but stare at her eyes. "I do not wish to be rude, but why are your eyes different colors?" he asked

Lillianna smiled and nodded. "Yea, the bar up the street." she told him. She then blushed deeply. "Well I'm not entirely sure..." she replied. "It happened to all the women on my mother's side. Though my mother's weren't as pronounced as mine are. Her's are more forest green and a dark blue. Mine are considered ocean blue and sea green. My grandmother actually had more of my great grandmothers eyes. It varies from generation to generation. Meaning my children will have entirely different colors." she explained.

"Well I was wondering if you like to go to a play? er...I mean.....oh what do you call them?" He shook his head trying to remember the name of the moving pictures. It was almost on the tip of his tongue, but the word would simply not come out. He had a look of perplexion on his face when he looked back at her. The word simlpy never came.

Lillianna grins. "A movie?" she asked, her eyes lighting up. 'Like a date?' she thought to herself in a bubbly thought. She couldn't help but smile. "I'd love to." she replied. "I just need to get ready." she told him, looking down at herself and seeing that she had just thrown on something random.

Movie, that was the word. He shook his head and smiled. "Yes, that's it. Well we do have time, since there is still daylight outside. I am hoping that there is a later showing." He couldn't believe it, she had accepted. He continued to smile and thought to himself how beautiful she was. He partly dreaded going outside into the world with her, but another part of him knew he couldn't hide forever.

Lillianna smiled and nodded. "Alright. What movie do you want to see?" she asked. "I can look it up." she told him going to her room to get her laptop out. She went back into the kitchen and got online. She got onto the town's theater website and looked at the listing. "Yea, the latest showing is at 10 o'clock tonight." she told him, knowing it would be more than dark enough outside.

"Well what is playing?" he asked as she pulled a little computer out. She began to type on the keys and words began to appear on its screen, much like a typewriter in his day. He watched with amazement as she "navigated" cyber space and brought the menu of movies up before him. Since his turning he had watched the inventions of man continue and progress. He had seen the invention of the car, computers, and machines of war. He was simply amazed.

He was astounded at every word she spoke. He understood the entertainment needs of men, for he was once a man too. But these peoples and their inventions never ceased to amaze him. He had heard of several of the titles, but never really took an interest. Now he was kicking himself for not paying more attention. He dared to ask a question, "What is this one about?" as he pointed to "Avatar". She might be able to give him a more educated guess.

Lillianna smiled and clicked on the name, pulling up another website that gave information on the movies. "Let's see, it says: 'AVATAR takes us to a spectacular world beyond imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home.'" she replied, looking up at him.

"Hmmm, well what looks interesting to you?" he asked looking at the screen she had brought up. As much as he understood about humans there certainly was a lot he didn't understand as well. Knowing this is what allowed him to hold onto his humanity and not give into the hunger.

Lillie looks down at the screen. "How about the Sherlock Holmes movie?" she asked, looking back up at him. "I've heard it was good." she added, smiling a bit. She was thinking about what she wanted to wear, trying to decide on what outfit she wanted to wear.

"It should be interesting, I think I have read a book or two about him." he smiled back at her. "Yes, that should do nicely." He walked back into the kitchen and began to clean up his cooking mess. He thought to himself that this was going to be a good night. The bitter events of last night a slowly fading memory, all that was left was the future. He began to hum the song that had been on the radio just a few minutes before. The song, the dance, everything was perfect in his mind.

Lillianna smiled and nodded. "Alright. I'm gonna go get ready." she told him as he went to the kitchen. She skipped off to her room, humming as she went. She rummaged through her closet, searching for the perfect outfit to wear. After she found it the skipped down the hallway to take a shower. She was soon out and she ran back to her room, a towel wrapped around her body. She closed her door and got ready, fixing her hair before she came out to show Lament. ((She's wearing the outfit in the picture. >.< ))
