I read about the possible careers, so you are going to be working for deafs? if I understand that word loaded page correctly.

Well, yes, and no - with it. It's not just about communication, but just learning about the Deaf Culture and Community as well. =]
And yep. =] I've gone through ASL 4. =]
I love it!
And that's the plan, yeah. Not quite sure what I want to do, but I do want to work with them in some way or another. :) Preferably Deaf and Hard of Hearing kids.

Any possibility about Lip reading subject in your course?
I actually like to learn sign language for the purpose of 'arguing in silence'. DX You see, when my family members quarrel with each other, they are just so noisy and loud... if only they would quarrel in sign language... *sighs*

I personally do not like lip reading... it's a rubbish waste of trying to communicate... SO easy to be misunderstood.

My elven continent is Trae'von (Try-eh-von)

I finished naming my current needed important characters an hour after my last post here...

I... don't do a list of random make up names so to pick any of them when I need them.
I kinda prefer to think up the name uniquely for the character/place/anything that I name WHEN I am thinking about them, with full concentration.

You see, the spelling pronunciation and things kinda affects the item I name. So for me it is a unique naming thinking process I have to do for each of them.

oh yeah definitely im a bit like that too but i know how long it can take me to decide on a name/place so at least this way i can look at my list and make one up from ideas on there with at least less time wasted. My elves for example have a list of their own because of the "ae" and apostrophes like my Main elf character Mae'ya, and the kingdom folk do too, lots of medieval/old england type names with a few fantasy ones in there too. When i say i have lists, i have separate lists depending on the type of character, like if they're human, elf, dragon/dragonrider, magician, or just a generally evil person xD

I have a good 30 names put to a character now so i should be good at least till i get to Trae'Von, then i have to start picking elves, i haven't planned that bit yet i've been too worried about the beginning haha!

How is you're plot coming? ^_^

I wish i could decide on a royal surname at last. It's taking me ages to pick! I've been watchin movie credits all day looking for ideas haha

I feel more comfortable with fantasy, paranormal and romance stuff myself. Since the non fiction story deals with the paranormal it wouldn't be much different from the other paranormal stuff I write. The only difference is that the story would be about my own experiences and adventures that I had while in college.

if you think you can write it, go for it! My life is waaayy too boring to write about my own experiences though

I think i finally found a surname i can agree with, or two to pick from anyway.

Cordeu/Cor'deu ooorrr go for the Mc names McCarthy McCree or McCreed. (this is for a royal family, King Aaron, Heir to throne Prince Richard and Prince Alexander my Main Character)

And i bet it was! I've not really had any paranormal things happen to me, but apparently mum has had alot over the years and even seen them around me when i was young! She once saw a figure looking over my cot apparently. I was crying then i wasn't while this figure was stood there O_O

I see, my mom has had some experience. My roommate and friend from college had more experience than me. I rarely see spirits. I can usually just sense them and hear them.

I'm one of those people that if I over do it, with planning, I actually jinx myself and I, in the end, will fail.
So I don't plan, and just by the seat of my pants, because that's how I did it last year, and I managed it. I don't totally go without a vague plan (I do have that) but as for character names, place names... etc... I don't have those as they will change, I guarantee it. Because they changed more times than I can count last year. Nothing is set in stone.

I'm not saying that it's wrong to plan. But y'all do have to understand that the story will, most likely, take over and it will go off where you mean to go. Not a bad thing, but it's bound to happen - especially with how things go in the insanity that is November.
