Yeah, well, to be honest, I can't tell you how I felt. As I don't remember it at all. I was more numb than anything. Thinking back, I think when he first told me he was joining the corps, I basically screamed "You've got to be kidding me!" and hung up. :XD (but it's like I'm looking back at those memories through a fog.

When he proposed, I was so scared, he had been acting weird and off for quite awhile. I totally thought he was going to break up with me. Of course it didn't help that he was so nervous he basically got me to go with him with "Hun, we have to talk..." :gonk: But it all turned out ok. :heart:

Yeah, at least you can talk with his mum. And wow! I can't imagine having to go through that while trying to stay strong for our kids.

Yeah, just be there, and support him as best you can. It's rough, but we can do it. :yes:

And yeah, I mean at least you see it from his pov. I do too, to some extent. I mean, I'm always there for him as he's always been there me (I can't thank him enough for all he's done for me. <3). Most of it was before we made it official. He has always been my rock, my anchor. I went through some really rough times in high school that at times it felt that he was the only one there for me (my friends all seemed to turn their back on me at points and he was the only one stopping me from doing anything that I'd regret.)

Jim has been there for me a lot too, even if its only a phone conversation at times.
Its been rough with my mums illness getting worse and me trying to decide whether or not to stay here for her or move for us (me and jim)

Its gotten to that point now where mum is not going to get any better, so its pointless for me to risk our relationship by staying just to wait for more tests and miracle cures that are never going to fix anything. but hey, thats me just touching the edge, its not all bad, its just a touchy subject, me leaving, but i have to, everybody needs to make sacrifices sometimes eh, and im worried that if i don't leave now, then its my future that i'll be sarcrificing...so yeah, tis a must!

Sounds rough with your mum! What's wrong with her, if you don't mind me asking? If you don't want to talk about it, I understand.

There are times when I miss being able to call Loveh, there were nights when I'd cry myself to sleep as I just needed his advice on something even if it was something really minor. It's rough not being able to reach him whenever I need to talk.

And at least it's something that you knew was going to be part of his/your future with him.

It's her bones hopeh, theyre deterioating, and fast. Last year i walked to the shops with her, now she can't even walk to the toilet without screaming, and the NHS is HOPELESS, we're still waiting for real answers, and for a solution, while mums left feeling helpless, tis silly, but don't go all aaaww bless on me, cause thats gonna make me feel worse for leaving.

I can't stay forever though, i've put off 2 or more years of study to take care of her, and if i don't get into university now, its going to be too late for me =/

Hey everyone. Just wanted to say I'm sorry for never coming back on last night. Had some really big issues getting babe to bed. I don't know if she was just not feeling good or if she somehow sensed the shitstorm that was about to hit for my husband and I, but she cried and fussed and wouldn't let me so much as set her down for almost 3 hours. I didn't get her to bed till almost 11:30 my time, and I'd started to put her to bed a little after 8.

Husband also didn't come home till almost midnight, when he was supposed to get out of work at 9:30, he then proceeded to leave with his brother and didn't come home from that till almost 2, at which point he jumped on xbox live and played cod mod2 till 4 in the morning, when he finally came downstairs and realized I was pissed off at him. Fight started from there, and it's really looking like it's time to bring in the lawyer.

Oh, I've spent about 180 on a pair of shoes - and then 170 on another (the first were shoes for daily wear and the second was a pair of water proof riding boots - Horse Rider here -points to self-). Both were UBER comfortable!

Most i've spent on a pair of shoes would probably be....um...£40, which back then i would have probably doubled for the dollar equivilant, but nowadays that'd probably only be about $55 haha. Stupid about to be bankrupt country!

And Lavi, I don't like cities either, I'm totally a country girl at heart. I need open fields and such to survive! Which is why I'm partially dreading going to SacState (the college I need to transfer to, that is if I'm still in California after I'm married). As it's in Sacramento, our Capital (is that the correct spelling, I think so xD) and it's all City! :sweat: I'll survive, I've been on the campus there, it's HUGE and big and it scares me, a bit. =P I don't do well with large college campuses.
