((Hey, I've been doing exams so haven't had time to post my first one. Can anyone give me the basics of where everyone's at and what the Water kingdom is up to at the moment.....^^ ))

Shin shook his head. "No, not really I've been stuck studying. To busy or distracted to go to the other kingdoms." He said looking at her with a smile. "What about yourself?" He asked as he stretched looking around to see if dark or light had shown up yet. No. He wondered what was keeping them.

Leo had woken up early that morning, not even realising that today was the day he would basically get a bride for the rest of his life. Getting dressed in a loose casual white shirt, leaving the top two buttons unfastened and a pair of tan brown pants, he left his room, wandering down to the main rooms. It seemed that nobody else was up yet, but he didn’t mind in the slightest. He took the opportunity to quickly leave his palace, heading over to the stables and saddling up his chestnut stallion to head off for a nice morning rise as the sun was just rising and it was a beautiful day. With a slight smirk curling his lips, he headed off at a gallop, on one of his favourite tracks through an area which was hardly used, so he wouldn’t be bothered for a while. He rode at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery and the peace and quiet, only interrupted by the rhythmic sound of his stallion’s hoofs on the ground, which he found relaxing. He trotted casually under a small waterfall, and through a shallow stream, his light teal hair darkening a little as it got damp. After a good few hours, the sun was higher in the sky and was slowly drying his hair, so he decided to head back to the palace. However, arriving back at his home, he found a distinct lack of his parents and his sister, he frowned a little in confusion, and asked one of the servants where they were. The servant’s eyes widened as he saw the Prince. “Sir, your family left for the meeting….you should be there” he said and Leo cursed under his breath at forgetting something again, his parents were likely to be quite annoyed at him now, and had left when he hadn’t returned earlier. Running up to his room quickly, he grabbed his intricate bow and the holder for his arrows and slung them over his back. Deciding he didn’t have enough time to change into something more formal, he shrugged and sprinted back down, flying past servants as they went about their business. He jumped on the back of his horse again, it rearing up slightly at the sudden movement before he set it off galloping towards the meeting place. It took a while and by the time he arrived, his teal hair was messy and windblown and his cheeks had a slight pinkish tinge from the wind but he was exhilarated from the ride. His dark blue eyes scanned the people and found his family off to one side. He trotted his horse over at a slow rate and leapt off once he reached them “Sorry I’m late” he said offhandedly with a sheepish smile.

Katie shook her head."Well, i've seen the earth kingdom before..it was beautiful from all the scenery..but other then that I haven't seen any. Thought I've always wanted to see the Water,Fire and Darkness kingdoms."She saud with a small pause."They're some of the most interesting to me." She said, then looking at Shin."What about you? What kingdoms would you like to see?"

((ummmm.....i thought everyone arrived differently.......*ish a little confused*))

Hotaru let his eyes scan over her lazily, it wasn't long before he got a lzy look on his face and he had the air of a lazy person about him, he shiftted to his other arm as he looked at her, wondering what she was thinking for a brief moment before letting his mind wander. "We bond with horses or unicorns to be more exact. It isn't like the bond that you probable have with Miki. Yes, i want you to tell me about her, i have no intention to go over to her and introduce my self at the moment." he said to her in the lazy voice of his, he wasn't trying to be mean or harsh, he had a tendency to come off like that, he was just being honest to her even though it was more on the brutally honest side of things.

Rose quickly turned her head towards the chestnut stallion that had arrived with another prince, her hand fell from the old oak tree that it had been resting, for the first time since she arrived there and others arrived she was taking in everybody that was around her, she saw that the Fire prince was talking to the Wind princess, which was expected so she wasn’t hurt by it, in fact she didn’t even know where the Light prince was at, maybe he hadn’t arrived yet.

If you looked into her hazel eyes you would see far more wisdom then was fit for her age, and if she continued to stand still it was like she wasn’t even there, like she was one of the trees that surrounded them. She was so in tuned with her element that she could actually hear the plants talking, by placing her hand on them she could listen to them even better, it was weird to think that plants had a voice but Rose studied the old earth magic while her brother studied the newer earth magic.

She made a clicking noise with her tongue, not really calling him over to her, but more like she was asking him something, naturally she got a reaction out of the stallion, she clicked her tongue once more before she placed her hand on the tree again and looked back off into the distance, her thing was is if someone wanted to talk to her then they would come over to her and not make her go over to them. She wasn’t a social person so that is why she was always communing with nature instead of mingling with people, her older brother didn’t understand her way of using her power and she thought his was more selfish then giving. She opened the saddle bag that was on her mare, pulling out her spare mask and placing it on her face as she sat down at the base of the oak tree, blending in even more then she was already.

He didn't want to meet her? Kaida's eyes slowly returned to the male she was talking to. She blinked slowly for a moment as she slowly thought about her next words carefully. She ran her tongue across her lips before saying, "I'm pretty sure none of your horses or unicorns could outrun my Miki." She then sighed before pushing herself from her seat. "My apologizes but I believe I should take my leave now," she said as her voice held a tinge of anger in it.

After standing the brunette brushed her hands across her backside to knock any loose debris from it. She gave Hotaru a curted smile before turning and walking over to her beloved Miki. She pet the anxious beast, taking her attention from trying to bite at and attack the carriage. "If we let you go now there's no way you'll come back to take us home," she said jokingly before turning to see how her brother faired. He seemed to be doing well, too well so that meant big sister and to intervene. Kaida walked over to Shin a grimace now across her face. "Well that was fun," she stated boredly as she stopped beside her brother.

Hotaru watched as the Fire Princess escused her self from his company, he half expectted her to do that but then again he was the one that had most likly chased her off. He did want to meet Miki, just not at that moment, after all he was still trying to get to know her, and then it was like she wantted him to get to know a dragon in her pace instead. He snapped his fingers, and the chair that she was sitting in made its way back into the ground that it had come out of. He didn't say anything to her as a spark of interest showed up in his eyes, since he had started to talk to her, she had atleast done one thing to get him just a little bit interested into her.

His draft Stallion came over to him, snorting at what had happened and transpired between him and Kaida. He reached a hand out and began to stroke his neck as he watched Kaida do what she normally did when not talking or being around him. It was like he was haveing a slient conversation with his friend, after all that is basically what they were doing even if they can not share thoughts, or speak the same language, they just knew in a slient way what the other was thinking which made thier bond special. He then ran a hand through his long black hair as watched her every movement, and tried to hear every word that she was saying.

Shin nodded before shrugging. "I want to see them all. Just to know them. But I think darkness and wind would be the funnest to fly through." He said with a grin. Then his sister came over turning he nodded. "Sister this is Princess Katie of the Wind Kingdom. Katie this is my elder sister Princess Kaida." He said politely. "When you say that I have a feeling you don't mean it in the way I'd say this meeting has gone. Princess Katie will be going on a flight with me latter." He informed his sister calmly.

Katie looked over towards Kaida with a small smile."Hello." She said, trying to be polite since Katie believed first impressions were everything..it showed how you were going to act towards that person and what not. "You can just call me Katie." She said, hating the word princess that seemed to always come before her name..or she was just called princess.

Leo was waiting for his family to notice him and start berating him about being late, and about his duties and how important this day was going to be as it determined who he would marry and live with for the rest of his life. He had heard that lecture many times throughout his life, but as soon as it started, he found himself becoming interested in something completely different, such as a window, or simply getting lost in his own thoughts.

However, as he was drifting off into his thoughts, he noticed his horse seemed disturbed, and was moving restlessly almost seeming distracted by something. His horse was usually very obedient, well, to Leo. He would only ever let the prince ride him, or groom him, he had been offered the choice of the stallions when he was younger, and picked the most wild, despite people trying to get him to choose the more tame and noble ones. But Leo would have none of it and slowly made progress with the horse until it trusted him, and he never regretted his choice.

He turned to the stallion, stroking his neck and trying to soothe it with soft words, but the horse wasn’t paying attention to him, it was looking the other direction. Following it’s gaze to a girl stood by a tree. He frowned in confusion, his horse hardly ever paid any attention to anyone else and he was curious. However, taking in her clothes he deduced she was the Earth Princess and that could maybe explain it.

His mind successfully diverted from his family, he turned and slowly led his chestnut horse over to the girl who was stood on her own. “Hello” he greeted her with a slight smile “My horse seemed to take an interest in you” he explained, absently stroking the horse’s mane.

"Hello, Prince Leon. The fact that he may have tooken an interest in me is probable because i asked him your name. Not only that Baby Girl is standing next to me and she is in heat." Rose said to him in a rather blunt voice, she didn't bother to turn her attention away from the scene she was looking at, her voice a little muffled from the mask that she had on her face. After a few minutes, she gracfully stood up and turnned towards him, pulling her mask off so that he could see her face as much as she could see his.

She held her hand out slightly towards her mare, feeling her walk towards her and letting her hand rest where her shoulder was at. She wasn't trying to be mean to the man but she was rather stateing what she knew was to be true and were nothing but the facts. "I am Princess Hopi-Rose. Pronounced Hope-E Rose but everyone just calls me Rose." She said to him in a much kinder voice that let him know that she was far wiser then she appeared, she looked at the Chestnut that was standing next to him, her head cocked to the side slightly as if she was listening.

She then smiled, laughing a little bit before she turnned her hazel eyes back to the man that she could only guess was the Water Prince. He did have that feeling about him, he even had the eyes and hair color that just spoke water to her, she could even hear the plants sigh like they did when it rained, so those were the signs that told her who he was. She smiled as she turnned towards Baby Girl and began to take her saddle off so that she could run around without the extra weight that she normally carried with it on and with Rose on her back.

Leo was a little surprised that she knew his name, after all, as far as he could remember, he had never met her before, but then she explained to him how she had known his name and he just smiled relaxing a little more. He wished he could talk to his horse sometimes, but they were close enough that Leo could usually guess what the horse was thinking or what he wanted, but he couldn’t do that with any other horse, just his own, and that was only because he spent hours a day with him since he was smaller. He nodded in understanding at her explanation, still stroking the neck of the stallion “No wonder he seems a bit restless” he commented simply as the horse snorted next to him.

“Nice mask by the way” he told her as she removed it from her face, letting him see her face properly. He watched her own horse move forwards to her. He smiled slightly at her formal introduction, even giving him a pronunciation lesson. “A pleasure to meet you Princess Rose” he said formally, bowing his head slightly, manners had been drummed into him since birth. “But please, just call me Leo” he added with a grin “Only my parents call me Leon” he shrugged.

“Let me guess….Earth Princess?” he asked, just to make sure, but from her clothes and mask, and the fact that she could talk to his horse, he was pretty certain that she was from the Earth Kingdom. Following her lead, he took the saddle off his horse, along with the bridle and let his horse go, watching it wander over to a patch of grass and begin chomping it quietly.

"Then don't stick Princess in front of my name, be it my whole name or my nickname. I am the from the Erath Kingdom." Rose said the last part to him as she nodded her head to let him know that he had guessed right and she was just confirming it. "My mask is from the old earth ways. It helps me be more acceptted by the animals, but they are never fooled by it, the fact is that you look more like them so your less then a threat to them. Judging by how the garden reactted to you and your family i can tell you that you are from the water Kingdom." she said to him as she turnned her head towards the tree that she had been next to, she was waitting for him to react how everyone else normally reactted around her when they found out that her earth magic was the old way and not the newer way that her brother used.

"What is his name?" she asked him as she motioned towards his stallion, Baby Girl had walked over to him and was eatting the grass with him, it was as if she was trying to get to know him her self. She then turnned her attention back towards him as she looked him over once more, she knew for a fact that he wasn't one of the guys that she was suppose to marry so she didn't have to worry about making a good impretion on him or being the polite none stubborn, hard-headed girl that she had a tendency to be when the time called for it.

She turnned her attention back to thier horses, she was standing still again, the only way you could tell that she was alive was the fact that her chest rose with every breathe that she took.

“Ok Rose, if that’s what you want” Leo said with a simple shrug and a smile at her. He felt a little triumphant when she confirmed the fact that she was from the earth kingdom, even though it was pretty obvious with what she was wearing and what she had done before, even when he hadn’t approached her yet, she had been stood just putting a hand against a tree and looking deep in thought. He nodded his head to confirm what she thought “Yeah…water kingdom, though my hair and eyes usually give me away” he admitted, and as he spoke, he ran a hand through said hair, mussing it up a bit more.

He perked up as she explained about her mask, and seemed very interested. He nodded a few times “That makes a lot of sense” he told her, grinning. His grin widened and his eyes glinted when she told him she used the old ways, instead of the newer ways. “Really? That’s really interesting” he told her honestly, if anything was different or new to him, he was more curious in it. “Can you tell me some more about it?” he asked her hopefully.

He glanced over at his horse as she mentioned him, and saw that the chestnut stallion was perfectly peaceful next to the other horse. Normally, the stallion was quite antisocial and didn’t like many other horses, but he seemed fine with her horse grazing quietly with him. “He’s called Dante” he said softly, turning back to Rose “I’ve had him for years” he told her, smiling slightly.

"It is complicated. The new ways are more selfish then the old ways. I can stand still for hours on end, listening to the stories of a blade of grass, i can even listen to the stories of a field mouse if she or he stops by to talk. The old ways are more to benifit everyone,and thing then it is for your self. I can't hear what the creatures of the water say, i can't hear what the creatures that fly say, any creature that is associated with a different kingdom are ones i can not understand. Take Dante for exsample, his mind is an open book for me if he wants me to know anything. I can tell that he would rather be by your side then anyone elses and that you two have been through a lot together, other then that....it is a mystery." she said to him as her voice got on the happy side of things, there was a soft smile on her face as she looked back at him, she knew that it was a simple answer for how far and complicated the old ways were.

She then placed her hand back on the tree, she smiled even more when she could feel some of the things that it felt, she shiftted her weight before she let her hand drop and turnned her attention back to the prince that was in front of her. "So tell me about your self since we mainly been talking about me." she said to him in a soft voice, she glanced at thier horses, seeing that they were getting along greatly, which was a good thing. She seemed to stare at him as she just looked over the details of his face, not really moving at the moment.

She was being far to interested in the Prince in front of her to notice the glare that her brother was giving her, which sad that he was not pleased that she was talking to a male that was not going to be her soon to be husband and she was going to be choosed by one or the other. She sighed heavily, letting her smile fall to a straight line, it was mainly because of the fact that she was dissappointing her brother but she knew there was no harm in making a friend.

Kaida stared at the girl her brother introduced and at first she said nothing. This trip was definitly becoming very overwhelming. She was being polite, especially to her and her brother seemed fond of her though that didn't mean quite as much to her. "Kai, it's a pleasure," she said, her attention then quickly went back to her brother. "And you could say that, that guy was just like dad. No way am I marrying someone like that," she said as her nose scruntched up, her voice holding a disgusted tone. "Speaking of dad," she then said in a skeptical tone, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Would he really be ok with you flying around like that?"

((awww you get black listted for hurtting Hotaru's feelings *jokingly of course* ))

Shin grinned sheepishly. "Hey I'm a big boy." He said with a chuckle. "Anyway I've cleared it with her family and as long as Magenta isn't forced into it he should be fine. But I wouldn't know I'd have to find him first." He stated truthfully. "If he doesn't he can confront me afterwords. Till then I shall do as I like." He stated simply crossing his arms towards her. "Hey maybe someone to keep you in line wouldn't be so wrong." He said softly before holding his hands. "But if you don't like him it is your choice." He said softly.

Kaida's eyes narrowed instantly, she was no longer really interested in the whole flying thing anymore. "What are you talking about someone to keep me in line?" She asked as she jutted her index finger into her brother's chest as she rested her other had on her hip. "Why would I need someone to keep me in line, hmmm? You saying that there's something wrong with me, little brother?" So much for her 'good' behavior; her brother had just found one of the easiest ways to tick off his older sister.

Shin sighed and quickly became angry. He held a hand up to Katie to excuse himself as he counter attacked his sister. "First of all your being rude, it isn't proper to fight in front of someone else's family. Second because you are unruly and enjoy causing mayham if there isn't something you get out of it you wont' do it. Finally because I think its a good idea for you to have rules other wise you won't have any to break and you'll go crazy. Why drive yourself insaine when you have more fun driving everyone else crazy?" He asked knowing she'd like the last one but the rest where his real reasons. The whole time he was arguing he whispered.

Lair sighed. He got up from where he was and walked over to his children. They had started arguing already...again. His voice was quiet but held malice. "Shin, Kaida, stop. Settle this when we go home, am I clear? Do not make fools of yourselves the first time you are here. And I don't care who started it or what it was about. If either of you continues this, you will sit with me and your mother and I will not allow you to do anything." His golden eyes stared down his two children.

Shin looked at his father seriously. "I wouldn't care either way. We aren't five anymore, now its not a punishment its just foolish." He stated sternly this wasn't his fault and he didn't care if he was forced to sit next to his mother like a scorned four year old. Kaida would love that though. "The only one your worried about being embarrassed here is yourself and your name." He said calming himself and excused himself from the group bowing to his father and then Katie and her family. He walked over to Magenta and stroked her back lightly before sitting next to her angry, at his sister mostly. He had been fine and polite and proper, course that didn't matter to the king. No, it only mattered if they were doing something wrong. His hand became smothered in flame before he put it out and continued to play with his hands like that.
