Lair started laughing, actually wiping a tear from his eye before being able to calm down. "I stopped caring about my name a long time ago, son." He said loud enough for Shin to hear. He turned to the water family and bowed slightly. "Forgive me, Wind. Perhaps I should not have interferred. Excuse me." He walked back to his place beside his wife.

Shin was calming down till that point. God his father knew how to get under his skin. If he was as proper as he said he would of stopped there and just finished fixing the situation instead of adding to it. He wasn't going to stay here, not if his father was going to act up too. The only thing that kept him there to begin with was the fact that everyone was to be on their best behavior and now this. And he thought things were going well. Shin couldn't help but wonder why the hell he'd ever thought this family was something to be proud of. Everyone else could act properly what was the matter with his family. He could die of anger and embarrassment. Sighing he looked up at Magenta who didn't care if they left and tried to figure out how much time a whirling fire ball would distract everyone and how quickly he could get on the dragon and get her off the ground.

Katie watched as he left and sighed a little, she had a good a time with him. But then his sister and himself had gotten into a fight. She watched him go over to Magenta..wanting to comfort him but decided not to since he seemed to want to be alone. She looked towards her parents and then at her brother.

A small one or two person carriage pulled up with two gargoyle like creatures at the front. The princess had arrived from the darkness kingdom. She had gone a head of her family since she was to eager to wait any longer. She'd probably be punished for this latter but she didn't care. She stepped out of the carriage with her armor (The outfit in the picture) on and her hair done up decoratively. She looked around and untied her horse letting her go about. Amethyst had preferred a horse over a gargoyle because you couldn't ride on them. They where more human than anything else. Looking around the young woman walked forward toward wind, the queen was her aunt and her father would be joining them soon.


Shin looked up hearing something with a ghastly pant. Seeing the gargoyles he blinked for a second and rose. It was the kingdom of darkness. For now it was only the princess but the rest were sure to follow behind. The princess he saw had a kind of presence to her. A dark, graceful, mesmerizing presence. Her looks didn't hurt her any either. It stopped him from talking. A shiver ran down his spine. The light skin was from her mother but her presence the aura around her was definitely unmistakably that of darkness.

Leo paid close attention as Rose explained the way the old ways worked in the Earth kingdom. Things like that always interested him, where was the fun in learning something that everyone knew, where was the excitement, the unpredictability? That was probably one of the reason he had never really paid attention in any of his lessons, only the ones that interested him. Other than those, he could be found doodling or staring out of the window, lost in thought. He glanced over at his horse as she explained about him. He then grinned at her “that’s really interesting! I’d love to be able to hear some of the things Dante says, or the water creatures” he told her, he had wondered that before while he lay staring into the pond and watching the koi fish swim around each other.

He shrugged in reply to her, to him, he wasn’t that interesting, he couldn’t communicate with all living things like her, he just had fun. “What can I say?” he mused as he tried to think of something to say. “I spend most of my day out of the palace, in the woods or by the waterfalls…they always make me feel peaceful” he admitted. It was probably the fact that he was from the water kingdom, that something like that made him feel calm, it was just the sound and the tranquillity of it all. “I go swimming a lot….ride Dante for hours a day…and then train a little whenever I get caught” he added with a grin. He mainly only trained when his father sent someone to find him, and they actually managed to, and that wasn’t very often.

Leo was completely oblivious to the glare of the other male that was watching them. He wasn’t even thinking of the reason he was meant to be here in the first place, or what he would do. He had always lived for the moment a little too much, never thinking of the future.

(i'm happy you guys were able to post without me, i've got alot to catch up and I feel horrible that I haven't been able to post until now. I'll read and than see where I'm coming back in. )

The Dark Queen nodded as her two children came to the carriage, her own emotions torn once again as they were about to take the same step she had so long before.

At this point, Nene was more or less daydreaming. She had no interest about the meeting, the people there, or even her own family. With a grim look on her face and a hopeful twinkle in her eyes, Nene finally snapped to it.

Her head bobbled some as she tried to get back with it. She was also lost in thought these days. Wondering, just wondering what life would have been like had she and Deks not be royal. Would they have been allowed to love? Would they even have meet at all? As other related thoughts danced about her head, Nene found herself staring at the handsome prince. Blushing, she looked away and hoped no one noticed her staring.

Melta stood as her niece aproached them. "Ah, Amethyst, hello. Did you not ride with the rest of your family?" Her smile was real enough, her eyes a bright red.

Amethyst looked at Melta and bowed deeply. "No, Your highness I rode alone. I ducked out last minute. I'm not one to be late. My father should be arriving soon however followed by my brother and mother." She said softly before smiling lightly. She gave a less formal bow to the king, the princess, and well she would of bowed to the brother but she didn't know where he was. "Its a pleasure to meet you all." She said softly placing her hands in front of her gracefully. "How are things in the wind kingdom?" She asked softly.

Rose smiled as she looked at him, he still seemed like such a good guy to her, knowing that if they married that it would be a really good match and they wouldn’t have to worry about anything bad like some of the other couples. She then sighed heavily and looked away from him, her smile falling from her face as realized that something like that can’t happen.

“I apologize, Leo. You should go and talk to the females that you are to chose from. My brother is not happy that we are talking.” She said to him in an apologetic voice, and even speaking bluntly to him, she curtsied slightly before she turned away from him. She had been polite, not wanting to dismiss him but wanting to save him from her brother and what might have or could have been stated between them.

She looked over at Baby Girl, whom seemed like she was having a good time with Dante, She sighed as she placed her hand on the tree that was next to her. She could just tell that she had most likely hurt the man’s feelings but she couldn’t help the fact that her brother was on the way over there to tell him what he thought about the two of them talking to each other.

Hotaru was not happy with what was going on between his sister and the Water Prince, after all she was to marry one of the people that was picked out for her. He stood up from the chair that he had made and walked over to them, seeing his sister politely dismiss the prince because he was walking over there towards them.

“I do not appreciate you trying to woe my sister when she has two other people that are supposed to win her heart and you are not on that list.” he said to the man in his anger filled voice, his face matching what he voice was portraying to him. His crossed his arms and took a defensive stance, ready to fight and protect one of the important people in his life.

Melta smiled more gently than she would have if she still lived in the Darkness kingdom. The Wind had done her good. "Things are quite well, thank you for asking. This is my daughter, Katie. Katie this is your cousin from the Dark, Amethyst. And this my husband Farkcel."
Fark bowed just slighlty. "A pleasure to finally meet you, Princess Amethyst. We have heard much about you from your father."

Amethyst smiled some and bowed. "And I have heard great things of your family from my father and many travelers." She said softly she looked at her Aunt. "I would say hello to Deks but I have yet to see him." She stated truthfully then she sighed as she couldn't keep up the act forever. "Alright but really Auntie how are things going here at the meeting?"

Melta chuckled a little bit. "Things seem to be going alright. We are still waiting on the rest of your family and that of the Light. I'm sure Deks will come around soon."

Amethyst looked at her aunt. "From what I hear I'll be lucky to catch a glimps of him. No offense meant." She said softly. "I wonder why I was so worried with how things seem to be going." She looked around and spotted the fire prince resting against his dragon again, the water and earth princes looked like they might be in a confrontation, the earth princess sat with her back turned to them, she could see the water princess off to the side and she looked fierce, then there was the wind family. She just shook her pale head. "My family should be here soon." She said softly again as her horse was walked over to her. She petted its side before taking off its gear.

Melta smiled. "No offense taken of course. You'll see him though. He's not that easy to miss, I believe. How are things going with your parents in anycase, niece?" She smiles a little. She missed her brother but as always, she was a little worried about seeing the girls mother. They hadn't left on good terms the last time they had spoken.

"Mother backs down to anything father says and father teaches us the ways. She's a coward and only argued when she didn't want us forced into this." Amethyst said with a frown. "I'm not very fond of my mother. Father is hard headed as ever but we love him dearly none the less." She said softly with a smile. "He's excited at least to see you and I"m sure you know he doesn't get excited much at all." The princess said with a slight smile.

Melta finally gave a real smile. "My brother is excited to see me? That is indeed something to look forward to. I am sorry your mother is like that. Is she still not adjusted to living there?" She asked this very kindly, not wanting to sound rude because she wasn't trying to be.

Amethyst made a face. "I don't know I don't hang around the castle enough to find out. Its very depressing, Jake is at the castle all the time so he might know." She said a slightly sad expression hit her face and disappeared like lightning. She smiled again as she laughed a little. "Because of how quickly you where married a bunch of people filled my bags with gifts." Her voice smothered in laughter. "I even got jasmine flowers from some little girls. It was very fun."

Melta laughed as well. "Jasmine flowers? Why would your bag be full of gifts and the girls give you jasmine? Sees so silly." She smiles her niece. "Have your studies been going well, Amethyst? My children both seem to have gotten along well and learned many things. What of you and your brother?"

Amethyst smiled some. "I'm popular with my people is all Auntie." She explained softly then she nodded. "Very well both me and my brother. My studies are mainly of the kingdom and his are in the books." She said softly with a nod. "But we have both learned much in our lives." The silver haired girl said blinking lightly. Her teal eyes stung a little in the light still and she had to cover them with her hand for a second. "This light hurts." She whispered softly keeping herself standing straight and not showing any pain just stating a fact.

Melta smiled kindly. She extended a hand and a thin, almost non-exsistant veil of dark gently laid itself over Amethyst head. She hand not lost her ways of old. All the veil did was a sunglasses affect, darken her vision enough that the light wasn't so harsh but didn't strain the eyes in any way, or make the colors surrounding them less. "I hope that is alright. I had to wear one the first few times I was outside after leaving home."

Amethyst smiled some her eyes relaxing. "Thank you, I don't know why I didn't think of it." She said softly rubbing her eyes once more before standing properly again. "Auntie did you adjust well to your home after you where taken away?" She asked softly her fears stemed from leaving what she knew and if her aunt could do it then so could she. Looking around now she smiled some. Much better. Her family should of been there by now...they should of arrived sighing as she got impatient she looked at her Aunt. It was more nerve racking if no body you really knew was there.

Melta went forward and put a comforting hand on her. "I'm not going to lie, Amethyst, it is very difficult being away from everything you know. But yes, I think I adjusted well enough. I love my husband and have since before I married him. That helped a great deal in my adjustment." Her voice went quieter so that the others couldn't here them. "Darkness adjusts to all walks of life, dear one, if you only allow it its path. Remember that and I think you'll do well." She smiles as her husbands decides to butt in.
"She adjusted very well, in fact. She has even learned to do our own wind magic, which is quite fascinating, especially if you watch some days when she combines both powers. Though she seldom does that when others are watching. And I think the peace of wind help calm her down as well. Though her temper still gets the best of her." He winks at the girl.

Kaida walked over to her brother, for once not saying anything as she was stunned by his actions. She walked up to him, for once not doing it to harrass the kid. "You know," she said as she walked over to Miki who wasn't far from Magenta. "Messing with dad like that is my job," she said softly as she looked at her dragon who for once was calm. She then turned to look at her brother, a softness in her eyes, probably for the first time in a very long time. "You wanna get out of here don't ya?" She asked as she looked beyond him to the girl that had just arrived.
