Well i'm completely fine with it. Sure some people may look odd or strange in the supposed "clothes for the oppostie gender," but people who don't cross-dress can look just as bad. Dress in whatever suits you, not other people. It's just material.

I mean, WOW some of them are just GIFTED at cross dressing lol
The furthest I can go is nailpolish, make-up, straightening my hair and skinny jeans lol And maybe the occasional girl sweater....but thats it =P lol

They look faboulous and they can really sing!
There are certain females who like to dress as men. I used to go though that stage and I still have tendencies to sometimes want to dress and look like a man. I dont think gender should necessarily be a concern to who a person is.
Lets face it. Men are humans. So are women. Everyone has to deal with that. And they should!
Women are humans. So are men.
You see Gender should not necessarily play a big role in a person's personality. Though sometmes I find this statement contraversial because of how this world is going round, there are things (and will always be things) that will concern men and not women, while there are other things that concern women and not men. But it should concern both the sexes.
Anyway this isn't really about gender equality. We are talking about crossdressers.
If a man feels like a woman in the inside then thats fine. And if a woman feels like a man in the inside (I sometimes do), then that's also fine. I mean its great! Its a matter of how a person feels like.
There are some people who dress to impress while others who dress to express. Me most of the time I dont dress to do either of those things at all.
I myself know a couple of cross dressers and really they are probably one of the nicest and chill people I have ever met. And there are a lot of things you can learn from them. Talk to them they have a couple of interesting things to say and they probably just have alternative views.
The real thing is cross dressers are human and they have feelings and should be respected. I dont think they do any harm and they shouldn't be sort of witch hunted and not appreciated.
I am not asking for everyone to like them but I definitely dont think they should be hated for such ridiculous reasons either. Just that they should be respected.
In fact not just them, but homosexual people as well should be respected. And then everybody should be respected.
Its like one of those things when you say, "Treat people like the way you want to be treated". And why not?
In conclusion, I have nothing against cross dressers.

Not only have you gained my respect. But my love as well. lol

I've only ever seen people cross-dressing on tv and that's only ever guys wearing ridiculous make-up or feather boas that look like a halloween costume or something. I have no problems with it as long as the people doing it have some sort of taste in what they wear in public. that goes for everyone that thinks it's cool to wear things that make you look really stupid or just way over the top fo attention

I do it. Back in 10th grade, I'd go through this whole routine of getting up two hours early straightening my hair and wearing makeup. I'd even wear dresses sometimes, but I typically stuck to skirts (not short skirts, mind you. I wasn't stupid about it). Nowadays, since I rarely get six hours of sleep, I don't straighten my hair anymore, but I do put on eyeliner. I stick to crossdressing out of school now, as to not provoke one of my professors. I never went over the top like how you saw in movies... I don't own a feather boa, nor do I own any wigs. I do have some extensions, but they're steampunkish deadlock extensions. I, as some people have said in this thread, feel like a woman on the inside. If there's anything wrong about that, then I don't care.

People should be entitled to dress however they want. Our bodies belong to us, and so long as what we put on our bodies (or don't put on, if you run around naked!) isn't universally offensive, then who cares?
That said, some people - and I have to pick on the men for this one - bring the bad publicity down on themselves. If you're a man who likes to cross dress, and you dress yourself up so you look like a prostitute, and you think that's just a way of dolling yourself up to look like a woman, that's over the edge and just too much. You don't need glittery eyeshadow all over your eyes and bright red lipstick while wearing some tight leather dress to look like a "woman". That looks bad on women, do men really think they can pull it off any better?
I generally think sticking to certain shirts, or jeans, is typically better for either gender. Some girls like wearing guy sweaters or jeans, and some guys might like the tighter shirts and jeans that are available to girls. And I don't really think that's a big deal.
To sum up: don't dress yourself up like a prostitute (a bad one at that!), no matter what gender, and you'll be fine.

Ooh, I love Eddie! He's so funny :squee: It'd a bit of a pity he's in "bloke mode" nowadays, but you can't win 'em all.

I like crossdressing. I do a bit of it myself and when I'm not even trying I've had kids ask me if I'm a boy or a girl x3. I don't mind at all personally, though is was funny when some kid's mom flipped out on him for asking me. I also like seeing others do it and pull it off, I applaud them...It's not so nice when a guy tries to and he doesn't shave at all Dx . Trust me, I've seen it. The guy still had a beard too.

I don't mind cross dressing though I don't do it myself ^^
I would actually like a guy more if he has some feminine features and I think it just make them look cuter >.<
As for girls, just as long as they don't go over the top with it (which would be when people mistake them for an actual guy)

I like it. To be honest, gender benders put me in awe. I watched Ru Pauls drag race and was sort of let down, although some of them rlly put in a bit of effort with out clowning it up for the camera. Girls who dress like guys are cute, I just don't get when they correct someone for calling them a guy then say how sexy they look as one. The paradox is confusing.

I think for me, seeing a guy wear girl's clothing would be almost the same as seeing another girl wearing the same shirt/jeans/dress as I am or that I have. It makes me want to rip it off of them or at least tell them it doesn't look as good on them as it does on me... I just never do it because I like being considered nice. Don't be jockin' my style, yo.

I don't frankly see any problems with it. I mean, there is the fact that the girl clothes are made to fit girls and the guy clothes are made to fit guys, but besides that I mean. xD it's interesting, actually.. there's this tradition at my old high school where there was one day a year where, after spending weeks preparing, the senior guys would all dress up at girls, most of them borrowing their friend's clothes, they'd put on make up, do their hair, everything. And then at the end of the day there would be this assembly where they would dance to all of these songs.. and it'd be in a sense mocking the school dancers called the Analanies. The guys would be called the Scrawnalanies.. and it freaked out most of the freshman but it was sufficiently awkward enough to have plenty of people laughing their asses off. xD And all of this is actually supported by the school rofl. As a matter of fact some people recorded it and
posted it on youtube.. so you can see it if you're interested....

I think it's fine. It's not hurtting anyone and what someone is more comfortable with is their own buissness. Granted I probably wouldn't be attracted to a guy in a dress (most dont have the legs for them) but I'm not gonna be mean or chastize them for it.
my B/f says he sees it as a matter of choise and agrees that it doesn't hurt anyone. If someone is more comfortable in opposite sex clothing who cares. But he doesn't like it if people do it just to make some kind of statment or are rude or inapropreate about it.

I'm more of a masculine girl. I hardly wear girly clothes. I'm always wearing boy shorts, shirts, boxers, etc. I think the only feminine thing I wear are my panties and bra...
But, I love it when attractive men cross-dress. I'm not too keen on larger men crossdressing. Especially if they are older than 30.

I'm fine with it as long as I am not involved. If people are doing it, good for them. But, if my boyfriend was doing it and insisted I help him pick out outfits or something like that, THEN I'd be against it. Don't get me wrong it isn't that I'm against it because I know him. I'd be against it because I don't want to be a part of it. He could do it by himself all he wanted as long as I was free from it > . <;

I actually have an interest in the subject. :3
It really doesn't bother me at all, but my eyes do bleed a bit when I see an incredibly hairy man dressing in a short skirt and skimpy top, haha... (I've seen too many of these ones.)
I personally crossdress almost once a month. I have a comfortable chest-compression shirt that also has back support. It's very effective!

It's their choice, and frantically, some guys looks more pretty than girls when cross-dressed. But I like girls so I don't want to get intimate with one, and find out she's a he. >_<
