*stares at Cricket*
BUT YOU ARE NOT FROM THE SOUTH SILLY! :'D
OMG?! Serisously?! O__o
I had a beetle crawl up my nose when I was little when I was playing tennis (more like trying to play since I was around 7. :'D )
I think it was just...a normal brown beetle though.
Nothing special about it.
XD
OKAY...so I'm not leaving..
I just want to lurk.
And watch you guys squirm.
But...I keep getting drawn in.

Oxie // XD You have no idea. XDD
Cricket // Uh-huh. Real funny. :sarcasm: [ Okay, kidding. ]
Ladybugs are actually cute. From a distance. xD From beetles to roaches to butterflies, I don't like any bugs. Butterflies are pretty though... ;3

Not all spotted beetles are lady bugs. I actually found a picture on DA where this person colored a yellow lady bug red and said that it had died and that's why it was yellow and they wanted to restore its natural beauty.
FAIL!
Only male lady bugs are red. The females are yellow, green, and orange, so they can blend in with their surroundings. Males are red because in most species the male is red to a) advertise for a mate and/or; b) to ward off predators.
Females are meant to blend in.
And not all red/yellow/green/orange and black spotted beetles are lady bugs. There are a lot of clever lookalikes out there. the way to tell if it's a true ladybug or not is to look at it's head. If the shape doesn't fit tradition, then it's not a lady bug.
[/End my psychotic insect related rant.]

Cricket // I'm here! A yellow ladybug is yellow because it has died? Awww... T___T That's sad, even about a bug. :3 Oh wait. Nevermind. xP
There's green ladybugs?! Whoa. I haven't seen those. Or yellow ones. I think I've seen orange ones though. :3

No, the person was just an absolute idiot and thought that when a lady bug dies it turns yellow. They don't lose their color unless they've been sunbleached. And even that can take a week or more. And even then, it would've been more of an orange-ish pink and not yellow.

Like... Human bones left out in the sun, they turn pure white. Or a brightly colored shirt left outside in the sun for days on end. The color fades. Like that.
But the ladybug was only dead for a couple days at most, because the head was still intact. (I've found a lot of dead ladybugs, their heads fall off after about three or four days usually.)

Because Cricket caught bugs as a kid and found lots of dead bugs in the backyard.
I also know that if you accidentally step on a little toad they sound like those little snappers you get for the 4th of July. I cried for a week when I found that one out. (I was running from someone and I stepped on the toad. ;~; )

Oh, it's amazing. I wanted to see the movie. The beginning is kinda hard to get into, but at the same time, it's kinda easy.
The second book wasn't as good as the first. And the third one I literally gave up halfway through because it just sucked balls so badly I couldn't stand it anymore.
