Best I ever used was plain white wrapping paper. Awesome because I drew some cute little chibis and wrote the message in Japanese (it was to my sister who likes the same things as me). She loved it so much she kept the paper. ^w^

well i got 2 favourite ones.one type of wraping paper was a vintage rusted gold type tht i lovveeedd >.< and another one was a scarf xD.a friend of mine wanted to wrap my prez in something special so he got meh a beautiful scarf and wrapped the prez in it o.o and of course i kept the scarf too >:3

I dunno all wrapping paper seems pretty much the same to me, I did get a nice bag which my present came in from a friend though, it was all oriental. :]

I like those ones where you wrap them in a million layers and with a LOT of tape... lololol, pisses the person off, and when they make the end of it, they get really happy :]

Ah! I have never thought of using newpaper. I think I might have to do that one time. heehee. I normally use some sort of festive looking paper. Last year I used Tinkerbell wearing a Santa hat paper because my sister-in-law likes tinkerbell. This year, I used two different kinds of Spongebob wrapping paper because my little nephew is obsessed with him.

I like pretty shiny wrapping paper, but I have wrapped presents in sunday comics just for fun. I once wrapped some gifts in some giant leaves once.
