so what do you guys do on new years eve?
do you go out and party until twelve or stay at home with family?
tell me. im curious.

I usually spend new years eve at home being that the first minutes of the new year I want to spend with my family

Only been at home so far. Maybe if I was invited to a party I'd go lol
My friends don't really party so that doesnt help haha
My boyfriend is going to be with me and my family :)

I just stay in my room and watch TV.
And see the ball drop on TV

Well, I'm not really a party kind of person. I love being with my friends, but at this time of year I like just staying home for a while and relaxing, not to mention that winter session is starting soon, so I want to get in all of the free time to myself that I can. We usually just stay home and watch the ball drop on TV. It's nothing big, but...it's enjoyable for me. <3 It may sound cheesy, talking about how important it is to spend the holidays with the ones you love most, but I think it's a big part of my being able to enjoy the holidays.

My sister, her fiance and I are going over to a friend's house to play boardgames in our pjs until midnight. More than likely though I'll be the last one standing along with my sister. XD

always had been at home with the family, this year it'll be at the apt with my fiance for the very first time

Hmm... every year, it's pretty much the same; stay at home with family and watch the countdown~ :yes:

I'm just staying home this year, perhaps watch a movie or something. I doubt my family has anything planned, and my friends are far off doing their own thing. Ha, and of course at midnight I'll stand in the freezing cold to shout New Years greetings to our neighbors.

My parents, sister, grandparents and hubby area all going over to a friend of the family's tomorrow night to play games and then watch the ball drop && fireworks after!

I usually just sit around and play computer games, like every other day of the year.

I don;t really do anything.
Well last year I had a sleepover, but that won't be happening this year. D;

We invite friends over and eat eat eat (:

On Christmas we just had a special lunch, but this New Year's we are having a HUGE dinner and waiting until midnight, etc. =)

normally I am in bed around 10 or 11 but tonight I am going with my brother to his girlfriend's place to visit with her family, drink, stay up late, and hopefully not fall asleep on everything. I'm not a night person. Not a morning person either so...

I really don't do anything for new years eve. I have already received a new years card from my friend in Japan though. I keep forgetting that they are 12(if not more) hours ahead of where I live. I will probably wish everyone a happy new years. ^^ that's basically it.

My family always goes out to dinner at this one fancy restaurant, and then we come home and watch movies until it gets close to 12 and we turn on the ball drop coverage. =] When my brother and I were little we'd then go out on the porch and bang pots with wooden spoons. XD
