My fitness history and other tidbits:

  • I'm 24
  • I'm 5'2"
  • I have scoliosis
  • I'm a woman (Obviously)
  • I can be determined one minute
  • and lazy the next (especially with exercise!)
  • I'm a recovering picky eater, trying not to shun veggies (espicially raw or minimally cooked)
  • I weigh about 130-132 lbs
  • Both my parents are type 2 diabetic

I have been trying to consistently exercise since I was really young and I have done well....off and on lol I have done free range fitness (doing whatever I want without any specific program) and fitness programs like mousercise (You know your an adult, if you remember that show), to dancing with the stars! (the dvd ). I can't touch my toes, but I have excellent balance standing on one leg (arg, I'm pretending to be a pirate), and yeah that's my history...lol I know so short!

Fitness Goals:
  1. To be 120 lbs (I'd love to go back to 104-110 like I was as a teen but I don't think that'll happen!)
  2. To be flexible (touching your toes ftw! xD)
  3. to eat healthier (get used to veggies and things)
  4. have more stamina and energy (*flys like super man! *whoosh*)
  5. To be just plain healthier and more fit

My fitness equipment:
  • Wii w/wii fit plus
  • two 2 pound weights, one 3 or 5 pound weight (its not marked), one 10 pound weight
  • a yoga/pilates mat
  • Dancing with the stars!: Exercise dvd, an exercise dvd from mcdonalds
  • A pilates book
  • an e-book with stretching exercises, an e-book with other exercises
  • water
  • me, myself and I

You go girl! I have a lot more way to go than you but it's still nice to be encouraged. :D I think If I were encouraged more while I was at our weight I wouldn't be so bad right now.

When I was around 120-135 my mom would actually tell me to stop exercising or I'd get "to skinny". Then my husband at the time also told me I didn't need to lose any weight... years of that went on and I got up to 190. My hubby left and I was left with all the fat and regret. I'm at 150-160 now so about half way to where I want to be. It's still hard knowing that it's something I did to myself.

October:
What I've been doing:

Arm exercises strength training/toning in the morning and aerobic type exercise at night.

Been trying to track what I eat and what exercise I do on sparkpeople.com

Yeah that pretty much it for now

Good luck!
I have a lot of weight to lose, so instead of dieting, I'm just improving what I put into my body. I am running, but I am unable to right now, due to an injury. Light exercise for now. So far, I've lost seven pounds, but it's only been a month. It doesn't matter anymore how long it takes for me, I just want to improve my health. I used to worry about quick diets and getting thin fast, not anymore. Feels better. Less stress. 8D

March - August 2014

What I've been up to: Stretching mostly I can finally touch my toes lol, I also get a good strength/cardio workout from pushing carts at work.
