I've noticed most threads seem to be related to the holidays and winter... but the event runs until New Years Day! I've never started a thread before (save my "hey I'm new here!" thread) but I figured I'd take the jump and start one about the next holiday coming up. :)

So, what is everyone planning on doing for New Years? I may watch the ball drop with some friends, but I haven't quite decided yet. I live close to NYC, but I've never seen the ball drop in person... I haven't had the spine to brave the crowds and cold. Has anyone ever gone to see the ball drop in person?

Anyway, hopefully some of you guys will be doing something great for New Years. Use this thread to talk about it or chat about anything in general and stuff related to the event! :D
